At time of review this is priced at 24.99 which is decent value for money for a branded electric razor.

I’ve always favored the ease of use of electric shaving over wet shaving and as ever, this is no exception. Charge it once every 1-2 weeks by plugging it in. Turn it on, ready to go.

It’s pretty light and easily portable to you could take it on holiday although please be aware it doesn’t come with a case.

It certainly works too, the finish looks very good and feels pretty good too. I always find that wet manual safety razors give a better finish despite my preference for electric razors. I still feel it’s the case here too, but I’m still happy to recommend it as it is a good product.

Very impressed with this lightweight and compact shaver. Comes with charger, cover for razor and small brush. The battery charges quickly and lasts for a long time.
Gives a good close shave and smooth results.
Would be a good present and handy for travelling. Would recommend as excellent quality and value.

This is a decent shaver from a reputable brand. It gives a close shave and is simple and faff free to use. The battery life is very good. Good for quick and efficient tidying up of facial / neck hair. Good value.

Gifted this neat device to my significant other and oh, the change it brought! Used it in the morning, still going strong in the evening. Flexible foil, precision trimming, and a convenient cordless design. The charge sustains impressively – a whole 40-minute shave in one go. Now, he has the luxury of a barber-grade shave right at home!

I have a few foil shavers and this one is not bad. For the price I think it’s a good product and it works decently.
The battery can power it for 40 minutes which is more than enough for a week of everyday shaving.
I like to bring it on holiday instead of my more expensive shaver as I fear less getting it stolen or losing it.
This shaver is also good for anyone who wants to try a foil shaver but doesn’t want to spend hundreds of pounds for a premium one.

This is not really for daily use shaver as its quite rough and will not really provide the quality of more pricy one ( one i use daily costs in hundreds and are really good) . However, its perfect for a traveling as its really compact, and it will not take a lot of space in a luggage. What’s one of big pluses of this machine . Other big plus is the price as its quite cheap. So don’t need to invest too much.
Don’t expect for it to be quite as it makes a lot of sound, and does not feel very comfortable in the hand. As it vibrates quite a lot. And in hands feels quite cheap , but for the price you wouldn’t expect much more.
Overall its simple shaver which will be useful on the go while traveling. But its not really for a daily use as you want really good one to use it daily.

Decent value for a good quality, basic shaver.

Offers a smooth shave & plenty of time to do entire beard a few times per charge.

Trimmer is handy for getting those pesky neck hairs & basic shaping.

The first thing you notice is the very large box and a small shaver inside. It is definitely compact, comfortable to hold and will be good when travelling.

It comes with a Euro style round 2 pin plug for your bathroom shaver socket. However it would have been nice to have included a 2 pin adapter for UK 3 pin sockets for those time when you don’t have access to the bathroom socket to charge it up.

In operation I find that it is very noisy, vibrates a lot and there is nothing special about the shaving performance. I did not get the level of cut that I was hoping for.

Also the led operation is not helpful. The green led comes on when charging but never goes out, so you never know when it has reached full charge.

So overall for me, It is just an ok shaver, not one I could use often so will only be used as a backup when required.

4.0 out of 5 stars Compact but noisy

This is a cheap and cheerful electric shaver. It’s compact so worth keeping in your drawer at work for those last minute shaves if you have clients to see or for travelling. It shaves close although these foil ones you need to go over a few times. It has a useful pop up trimmer which is useful to tidying up beards and sides. It’s easy to use. Battery life seems to be decent on it. For the price it’s good value for money but the replacement foils are quite costly and it may be worth just buying a whole new razor again.

Firstly I have to say it comes in a large box which is mostly empty space. The actual shaver is hand size and reasonably compact. So It’s a nice size for travel and overnight stays.

It gives a closer shave than I expected but that’s probably because it’s not a rotary which I find don’t give as close a shave as these types.

It’s not too noisy – it’s a little quieter than my current one but not significantly so.

It feels comfortable in my hand and is nicely designed. It’s lightweight which is also better in my opinion.

For the price it’s not a bad shaver. Ideal for everyday use and small enough to put in a pocket and take to work for an afternoon quick tidy up.

Conclusion.. not a bad shaver from Remington for the price

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice compact and small enough for an overnight bag

This is a fairly basic branded shaver. The shaver comes boxed, and was presented in all-cardboard packaging. The packaging is quite a lot bigger than it seems as though it needs to be.

The shaver comes with a two-pin shaver socket charging cable, a little cleaning brush, and an instruction leaflet. The oversized cardboard packaging (which is folded in various places to create supports for the various pieces) was a nuisance when it came to the brush – which fell through the top layer and was awkward to retrieve.

The budget price for this shows up in the quality of the shaver handle – which is a contoured but very basic hard plastic without any comfort grip elements, just texturing to the plastic to reduce slipping.

This seems reasonably powerful, and also comparatively noisy in use. The control is a simple on-off slider switch. The foils move nicely, and this adapts well enough to contact with skin. The pop up trimmer is just a simple trimmer blade on a plastic piece which flips up from the handle. If you travel a lot, it is practical that this is dual voltage.

The 3 year manufacturer warranty (2 years standard, with an extra year when registered online) seems pretty decent for a device with an RRP of 24.99

    3.5/5

A good value electric rechargeable razor from Remington, this F2 Style razor comes in a box with a cleaning brush and 2 pin charging cable. It’s an excellent value razor with a sideburn pop up blade but otherwise with no frills but it does work well. Just watch when you take off the foil top to clean the blades with the brush, I found the blades popped off its spring loaded design nearly fell down the sink! It’s not easy to push it back into place either, this happens very easily when you brush lightly. Don’t brush the metal foil parts as the brush can damage the fine foil. Mine arrived fully charged, the charge lasts 40 minutes. It is lightweight so ideal for travelling. As a woman it’s only fair to say I didn’t use it on my face lol but on my legs it was quick to use and my legs felt smooth, so I’m happy to recommend it, it comes with a 2 year guarantee plus and extra year when you register it with Remington.
