You can always rely on Revlon lipsticks for quality at a brilliant price. This is a fabulous colour ( makes teeth look whiter) and glides on. Stays in place without drying out lips and covers beautifully . As good as some of the expensive brands and better than the economy ranges you can buy. no complaints.
The amount of money I’ve wasted on matt lipsticks is a fortune but this one I’m nearly satisfied with, the colour is gorgeous it feels very moisturising and stays quite well but what is a first for me was I didn’t have the patchyness come like other matts.
The reason I’ve only given 4 stars is I did have to reapply quite a few times but I’ve ordered more as the colour I love I like the feeling on my lips and it after settling it goes to a matt and I’m nearly happy
The company have been excellent and the speed in which this came is exceptional yes I recommend.
This shade is good for a darker lip on pale, cool toned skin. I wouldn’t recommend for those with a warmer undertone as it’s more a blue based brown than an orange one but that works well for me. The formula is quite smooth and applies nicely with one coat, it can also be blurred at the edges for a softer look. The finish is semi matte with very slight satin finish.
This lipstick arrived quickly and well packaged. Of good quality and applies well. Problem, if it is a problem, is that it is like a dark burgundy rather than mauve, to my opinion. It would be the darkest shade I could possibly wear. I am dark ash blonde with grey, but very pale skin. was looking for something different to wear and I kind of like it. A little goes a long way. I think it is a night time sort of shade as it is quite striking. I might wear it in the day mixed with a softer colour. Well worth the money and something different for me anyway. Hope this helps.
