I first used this stuff as a young adult when it was featured on a tv show where products were tested and rated. It cleared my skin up and the spots never came back. Over 10 years later my son is using it and it’s working well for him too. Brilliant stuff!
I’m pretty sure I’ll be in deep trouble if they ever stop making this product. Selcura’s products, and this facewash in particular, is the only product that keeps my hormonal acne under control. Doesn’t over dry and is absolutely fantastic!

Durning pregnancy my skin became very spot prone and none of my usual products worked. This has been a life saver, need to use it twice a day but it has almost got my skin back to a pre pregnancy state.
I’ve just received my product, I have been using this for some years now and it’s a great smelling face wash for Oily Skin and it does the job it needs to do on my skin, I would recommend it to anyone with Oily skin, in the past I have spent some large amounts of money on products for my skin that was quite useless and a waste of money, I am glad this product came out as it’s affordable for everyone.
Been spending a lot of money over the years on all big name brands & find they did not clear my skin” now only been using this for one week & wow it really is making my face clear of spots & making my skin feel smooth & clean i love it I will be back for more cheers.
I’ve found other face washes far too harsh and so it has been amazing to find one that is gentle but still keeps my skin in good condition. It hasn’t really done much for the areas of my face where I have more severe acne, for that I’d recommend getting a gel or cream, but for general redness or unevenness it is definitely making a difference. It’s absolutely worth adding to your skincare routine.
I like this face wash. I suffer from adult acne and I think it helps. I say think, because I use other products too but this is the only face wash I use. I’ve tried others that are supposed to help with acne but they are too drying and sometimes I find the acne gets worse with them. So I’m sticking with Antiac and only one or two chin spots every few weeks.
My general thoughts on facewash is that it’s on your face for so little time, it genuinely doesn’t matter what’s in the bottle.
However, I like this stuff for a few reasons –
It feels and smells fresh. The ingredient list is reassuringly pronounceable. I’ve gotten it in my eyes and it doesn’t sting, I’ve got some in my mouth and it doesn’t taste horrid. It’s the same price as the usual facewashes but seems more effective. It doesn’t make my face tight, it leaves my skin feeling fresh and moisturised.
Overall, it hasn’t been life changing, but that’s not the products fault – no amount of facewash is going to cure hormonal adult acne.
But when I use it I feel infinitely better about the ingredients and I like how my skin looks and feels when I’m done. Much better than the skin stripping washes you find in the acne section.

I have never suffered with spots before so when I got them at 23 I freaked and I have used so many different lotions and potions to try and get rid of them, even tried nothing for a while (no washing my face or make up) but still didn’t help. I found my skin was VERY oily so looked up how to get rid and it said to find a face wash to use morning and evening. I saw this one and didn’t really think it would work but it was cheap and a long way off payday so I got it. I am so glad I did!!
I don’t have to cover my oily skin with powder and my spots have seriously cleared up! I forgot this is how my skin is supposed to feel!!
I would just say if you have dry skin this WILL NOT be suitable. It really dries out your skin! I have a very oily face and after I use it I need to put moisturiser on!
Love this! It’s so gentle I can remove my eye make-up with it. I find it very calming, non irritating and it lasts for ages. Real quality that helps skin which can be problematic. If I have a flare up, rarely now thankfully, I use this in conjunction with the spray from the same range. Works wonders. Indeed the only products I’ve used that actually do work & don’t strip the skin. I wish this range had been around when I was in my teens and 20’s!
I still get spots but not as bad now and it makes my skin feels a lot nicer which makes my makeup go on a lot better so the small spots i do get are covered better and easier defo recommend i
Great face wash, after suffering post pregnancy acne for almost 2 years and trying many different treatments, medicines and therapies this is the only thing that has worked! Took 3 weeks to notice a great improvement in acne but skin felt calmer and softer after just a few days of use.
This is the cheapest I have found the face wash, very quick delivery.
Got this for my daughter who was suffering with an out burst of spots as teenagers do. they were very red, sore and her skin was starting to crack it was so dry in places, normal moisturiser wasn’t working, this cleared up the redness and cracking with in 24 hours so she had no pain and within 48 hours you could hardly see spots it really was quite amazing she uses Salcura Antiac Acne Clearing Spray aswell. but they really are worth it.
Interesting but not offensive smell- a bit sweet. Skin feels squeaky clean after use but not too tight probably because it doesn’t contain any SLS. For the same reason it doesn’t foam massively. Only been using it a week along with the Antiac spray and my skin is definitely calmer but not yet clear.
Im in love with Salcura products (I’m 32 years old male), my skin is prone to spots especially if I’m stressed – unfortunately i work a stressful job so i often have spots – out of the million and one products available including prescription items this works by far the best combined with the daily face wash and i always have a pack of the face wipes at work so i can give my face a quick clean usually half way through the day as it starts getting oilly. just wish it was a bit cheaper as now my wife loves it and my 12 year old daughter loves it so now I’m catering Salcura products for the whole family and ends up being quite expensive… the joys of being a dad and a husband !
I love this! I am prone to spots, blackheads and red splodges. I’ve had them for over 30 years, but this definitely helps. And it never makes my face red, which most other face washes have. After using it, my skin does feel a little ‘tight’, which just reminds me to apply my Salcura moisturiser, which is the first one I’ve had that I could put anywhere near my eyes without tears!
If only Salcura did a sunscreen too, I might have alabaster skin again (who am I kidding?).
Excellent, excellent product for all ages from the pre-teen to the per menopausal! . I wish I’d discovered these products decades ago, I would have saved myself a lot of distress and moony.
At the age of 50 my spot prone skin has finally cleared up 100%. If you have poor skin don’t waste your money on buying expensive products from the beauty counters, simply use products from the Salcura range. They are very reasonably priced and last a long time.
My pre-teen daughter has slightly bumpy skin (blocked pores) – she used this and her face looked visibly clearer within days. I like the fact it uses natural products.
I’d love to say that my spots are gone but no… But this product is nice on the skin, and fairly “natural” compared to others and I’ll keep using it until I find a miracle solution for my persistent adult acne
I’ve been using this face wash for a couple of months now and it has massively helped to clear my skin up. I’d really got to the end of my tether as had started to get acne on my face since starting a job working shifts. From the first few days of using this face wash I noticed a visible improvement in my skin and it is now back to how it usually was. Will make sure I keep using this.
