I got these due to my Steelseries Headphones not fitting correctly over my Pico 4 VR headset.

The dongle fits snugly and securely in the headset, very easy to set up, the sound quality is excellent, and am very pleased with them overall.

Sound fantastic with iPhone 14 Pro Max too

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic work great with my Pico 4

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo these are a product I’ve had my eye on for a while. I’ve been a wired only person for a long time and wanted to give these or the Logitech G FIT high speed wireless buds for chill gaming and VR. I decided to bite the bullet while these were on sale and I’m very happy and very impressed.

Sound is a pretty generic bass-boosted profile, but the high speed wireless, passthrough USB-C dongle, solid connection strength and general diversity of use cases (VR, Steam Deck, PC, Smartphone are the ones I’ve tried, compatibility includes PS4/5 and Switch, though) make these a very compelling product at the price.

Dongle was plug and play, I didn’t expect it to be so snappy and quick to use. CS:GO, Beat Saber (Meta Quest 2), Hunt Showdown, and general PC use including media and music. No floaty, slow feeling in-game or out of sync audio watching TV and movies. For VR specifically, this gets rid of a lot of the moving around/awkwardness that cables can sometimes introduce when using wired audio, and the wireless connection has been so solid on PC I forget I’m using a wireless device!

USB-C charging passthrough for VR is a godsend, and allows you to use battery packs/straps without issue, though hardcore VR users might miss having a battery percentage readout, similar to that the Meta Quest Elite Strap has.

In terms of negatives? I don’t think there are any that are notable. Mildly “gamer” aesthetic might put some people off, 4-5 hours battery life is… fine?, sound profile is overly bassy but not on an offensive level like you might find with RayCons or SkullCandy Crushers.

My biggest regret, honestly, is not buying these sooner over some other IEM/earbud buys that were kind of questionable. These are esports grade TWS earbuds with a diverse range of applications with almost no competition in their category.

Personally I only bought these for the deck as I found that headsets just weren’t portable enough. These are truly a game changer, I’m not playing big online games on my deck or using voice chat. I know some people are but it doesn’t suit what I bought it for. These buds sounds really good, mid end headset quality, relatively comfy for long game times and the big factor is that the latency is as good as they advertise, compared the other Bluetooth earbuds, even from the big dogs like Razer, these steam ahead with ease, they relay sound as if they were plugged in!

The only downside after a week of moderate use is a few connection drops and the charge through port on the dongle does limit power going through it, with good reason though as it does get a bit hot after a long session with the charger and dongle working together.

Overall these are my go to for my switch, deck and phone now, even just listening to music with the Bluetooth option. I can wholeheartedly recommend these if you need something compact to use with a handheld system

I recently got my hands on the Soundcore wireless VR headset headphones, and overall, they have been a great addition to my virtual reality experience. These headphones provide a seamless and low latency wireless connection to my VR headset, eliminating any annoying cables and enhancing the immersive audio quality.

One standout feature of these headphones which is very useful is the dongle’s power pass-through capability. It allows an external power connection to be connected to the dongle even when the dongle is connected to the only USB connection on my Meta Quest 2, ensuring I can enjoy extended sessions. This is particularly convenient as it eliminates the need for separate charging or worrying about battery life while fully immersed in virtual reality.

However, it is worth noting that while the dongle allows power to pass through, the display of the VR headset does not show the power level of an external battery pack, such as my Meta external battery pack. This can be a minor inconvenience, especially if you rely on the power level indicator to monitor battery usage. It would have been beneficial if the VR headset displayed the power level information, providing a comprehensive view of the external power source battery status as a separate reading

Nevertheless, despite this minor drawback, the Soundcore wireless VR headset headphones deliver impressive lag free audio performance when I use the dongle. The sound quality is clear and immersive, enhancing the overall virtual reality experience. The headphones fit comfortably over my ears and have adjustable sized ear fittings, allowing for a customized and snug fit.

Another noteworthy aspect of these headphones is their versatility. I could connect them via Bluetooth to my phone as well so they can be used in other situations too.

In conclusion, the Soundcore wireless VR headset headphones offer an excellent wireless audio solution for anyone planning on using these to improve their VR experience as well as users looking to a decent set of wireless earbuds. The USB C dongle’s power pass-through is a convenient feature for any Meta Quest 2 users, although the lack of power level display for external battery packs on the VR headset is a minor downside. Nevertheless, the exceptional audio quality, comfortable fit, and reliable wireless connection make these headphones a worthwhile addition to your gaming or VR setup.

lets start with comfort. they are comfy (unnoticable with an * ). i use the ear tips you get with final audio e500 they have a longer stem and any IEM , sits a little away(outwards but still snugly fit ) from the ear. if i personally use stock eartips , they hurt after 30mins to an hour.

Sound: they more than enough amount of detail but the bass is loose and they are heavy on sub 100hz frequencies, i use Dolby atmos for headphones for the EQ and it takes care of it with -2 db on 32hz and 64hz

elephant in the room, Battery: 🙁 sadly this is where they might not be for everyone. they dont really last 6 hours even without the lights.
while writing this review the battery life as seen on my pixel bluetooth connection is showing 30% battery and i have been using them for gaming on my PC and connected via BT on my phone for about 3:15 hrs
i believe they will last another hour.

they are no good for those longer gaming sessions that last for over 6 hrs.
i will update on the browsing time for them.

overall they are Still highly recommended for the price. the other 2 dongle offerings are epos trash buds and hyperX mix bugs i mean buds , absolutely BUGGED !! and annoying. razer released thier hyerspeed hammerheads but they are expensive. and dont have simultaneous BT .

so unless you go for a bluetooth earbuds that have APTX LL and your BT receiver also supports it. i would say this is your best bet.

Good sounds in games, could be little louder but is just my opinion as my hearing is not perfect. I hope for new, more advanced version with ambient sound and NC. Wouldn’t mind paying a little more for that.
In conclusion is very good at least for oculus, for listening music i have difrent ones.

Overall great earbuds, i duel connected to my phone and using USB-C dongle as the same time.
Work as it intended. Sound quality is as expected, nothing to complain about.
Range spec same as the box said, USB-C about 6meter, BT 20m? ( never experience drop out on BT mode while walk around the whole house)

Playing deadspace remake on the ps5 is great with these buds. 3D audio is very good sound tracking which directions enemies are coming from works as well.

They’re a good fit and easy to use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the price

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought these to replace the HyperX Mix Buds I returned (because they hurt my ears) mainly for FPS gaming. The Anker is way more comfortable to wear. Couldn’t notice any lag when using the dongle.

Sound quality is good but needed to adjust the EQ in the Anker phone app to reduce the bass.

Also replaced the silicone ear tips with Comply foam ear tips to get a more balanced sound signature (made the sound a lot less boomy, so don’t do it if you prefer heavy bass)

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI saw these on an LTT (ShortCircuit) video ages ago and grabbed a pair as soon as I saw them available in the UK.

They seemed like the perfect solution for me, not just for VR, but for all PC gaming as I find wearing over ear headphones uncomfortable after a short amount of time.

I have the dongle plugged directly into my PC and use them all the time. They sound great once you tweak the EQ settings in the app (loses half a star for having to use a phone app, it would be nice if there was a PC app) and I find them to fit nicely and be almost unnoticeable while wearing.

The microphone on them is unfortunately hot garbage, like, completely unusable garbage (another half star off) but when I am at my desk I use a standalone mic, and when in VR I use the one built-in to the Quest so really it’s a non issue for me, but might be to someone else.

Battery life seems great, I have yet to have them run out while using them, I’d say the longest i’ve used them in one sitting is maybe 3-4 hours and I always charge them afterwards so I couldn’t comment on exact battery life.

The case is really nice quality, a little bigger than an AirPods case but still very compact and you can store the dongle in there too.

Some nice-to-haves would be wireless charging and being able to choose any colour for the lights not just a select few, so maybe if there’s a ‘gen 2’ one day it would be nice to see these plus an actually usable microphone!

I’m now just patiently waiting for the spare dongles to show up on UK Amazon so I can plug one into my TV and switch between them from the app.

    I absolutely recommend.

Really pleased with the versatility of these ear buds, I use them to listen to music on my phone and also to watch videos on my Meta Quest 2 via the Amazon prime app and use them on games like Beat Sabre and Audio Tripp where timing is everything and believe me when I say there is NO delay / lag regarding the sound, there’s even a Meta mode that tightens up the stability of the connection between the two.
The sound quality in my opinion is excellent with excellent clarity with a wide stereo field, the earbud’s definitely punch above their weight, but you must download the Anker Soundcore app to utilise the ability the use the equaliser, from there just play around with the settings and save them as presets if you wish and i can guarantee like myself you will be hearing sounds in your favourite songs that you’ve never heard before!!
These Soundcore earbuds are a must buy for anyone that wants excellent sound quality, comfortable to use and versatile on uses.

    UPDATE June 2023.
Since owning theses earbuds for about 3 months the left earbud didn’t keep its charge even after a full charge the day before so I am returning them but because they are so good for VR I bought them again.
