Good egg boxes, a little flimsy but good value for money, hold eggs well, re-usable if still in tact or easily recycled and/or composted if at end of life. Weakest part is the lock.
These egg boxes are a little less robust than the ones in supermarkets. They come in a pack and are still attached to the others on one side so each one has to be cut to free it from the others. I used a Stanley knife. The tab which locks the lid down breaks off easily. Not the best product but reasonable value for the amateur market.
I ordered these for an order to make something for a customer who then cancelled, – but I am glad she did as I the cartons are great value for money. I searched on the internet for cartons to then either spray, and decorate as part of an easter gift? or decorate generally and also use as a mold to set with plaster. They are a tad smaller than say a carton of eggs you would get 6 large eggs in. But this was what was a nice surprise – because actually them being a tad smaller, made then a bit nicer for a bespoke gift. Well made and sturdy, if you are buying these to decorate and gift or sell – I would definately recommend them. Looking at them now, they really are great value for money.
