Seems okay, not what I was expecting.
I had read this was a very high viscosity paste suitable for laptops/high clamping pressure and resists pump-out effect of thinner pastes.
It however does not appear to be very viscous at all, seems comparable to other pastes (Arctic MX-4/MX-6) I have tried.
It works fine but I was more concerned about the long term and was looking for a paste that resists pump-out effect and performance degradation over time due to it. Will have to wait and see how this one performs but the consistency makes me think it will be similar to the Arctic pastes.
Hot cpu for gaiming laptop
My cup was beginning to run very hot when streaming and/or gaiming…. So thought thermal service needed….op3ned up my lappy set about thermally servicing but had no thermal grease so I used thermal pads NOT wise this product Is absolutely amazing as a former laptop engineer I highly recommend this to all

Bought based on the reviews, pleasantly surprised at the performance, my 12600k is running very cool. Only criticisms are it is very gloopy, and harder to spread and clean , but worth it for the temp gains

Very good but messy
In terms of performance, it’s awesome and provided my pc with roughly 25% better performance as it was constantly thermal throttling, in terms of applying it though… It can get pretty messy and is hard to spread. I don’t recommend it for beginners but if you have experience applying thermal paste and are looking for some good thermal paste, this is the one.

Great thermal compound
Recently, I rebuilt my gaming machine and needed some thermal compound to replace my old one that has been on my CPU for about 4 years. It spreads very nicely and comes with quite a few accessories which I found quite useful. After applying, I noticed a drop in CPU temps which is to be expected with new compound applied.

After 2 years my XFX Radeon RX 6600 started to hit 95C while gaming and the worst thing was that the fans were spinning at around 2100 rpm and the card was very loud !
After applying the SYY thermal paste the results are just incredible, my GPU now sits at 75 – 78C while gaming and the most important part is that the fans are spinning at only 1300 rpm so is nice and quiet

The Switch belonging to my daughter was experiencing overheating issues and would shut off during intensive games. Upon consultation with an iFixit guide, it was determined that reapplying thermal paste was necessary. Thermal Paste That Is Easy To Work With.
This paste comes in a handy syringe type tube and flows smoothly out of the nozzle.
It is not too thick and is also easy to spread across the components that need paste in your PC.
The kit comes with a ‘spade’ style applicator which you can use depending on the size of the area to cover.
Personally, I prefer to spread it manually and this type of syringe works well for that.
Happy to recommend, not expensive but does a great job.
Not as hard to spread as I though
If you spread the paste on the CPU while the CPU is out of the motherboard it makes it much easier. I found the trick of applying it potentially thicker than normal, and slowly using the spatula flat to almost scrape off layers until a I had a thin layer of the paste applied. Seems to be working well on my 5800x3d so far.
Works well
It’s definitely tricky to spread, but the package comes with plastic cutouts that stop you making a mess of your motherboard. Once you get it applied, let it cure for a while it’s plain sailing. My Ryzen 5600 is idling at 35c on air with this stuff so it’s conductivity claims seem to be true!
Great temperature, p.i.t.a to spread
oyal p.i.t.a to spread normally (issue for all thick pastes) but i found a nice trick that seemed to work wonders, just use a hairdryer to warm the paste up for 5 min and then spread, temperature after install are great, i have the Ryzen 5800x which is a notoriously hot chip and its idling at 35c and topping out in games at 60-70c (even cinebench R23 it stopped at 75c), price is crazy good and the paste is highly recommended.
Newbie friendly
Comes with all kinds of accessories and plenty of paste to redo, if you mess up.
I panicked, because I forgot to buy alcohol and a microfibre cloth, but the kit comes with two pre-soaked wipes that will get that old paste off with ease.
It also comes with a spreader and instructions.
Just beware, at one point in the instructions it tells you to spread on the processor and in another, it says to spread on the cooler. You should only spread it on the processor. It won’t hurt to spread on both, if it is thin enough, it’s just not needed. And overspreading can cause overflow that sticks to the components.

I have gone through all of grizzly thermal products bar liquid metal . All of the artic range and the best I could get after warzone gaming was 95c on the cpu and 75 on the gpu .
After using this product as you can see from 2 hours of warzone gaming I did not get past 85c on the cpu and the gpu was 68c amazing results . I must of changed the thermal compound about ten times or more before this stuff .
I can only put the massive difference down to the fact these laptops suffer badly from thermal paste blow out . So with the SYY being similar constancy with factory paste I think that’s the trick . As I noticed all the other products I used would squeeze out of the sides .
Next time I would try the SYY on the cpu and thermal grizzly krayanaut on the gpu as I did notice the gpu with that was around 65c tops . But the cpu would always range from 91-95
Used on HP OMEN 17″ laptop with an i7 9750 and RTX2070.
My laptop was starting to get quite hot while gaming and was also due a repaste, after looking around at reviews I decided to try this over the usual MX-4.
It’s not as thick and difficult to spread as its made out to be, I found it fine using the included spatula, only had to do it once and my temps are great now.
Its hard to tell if it was this paste over any other, the fact it was due a repaste or the cat hair I removed from the heatsink but now my laptop is quieter, cooler to the touch and is around 69C while playing very unoptimised sim games on max settings so I’m happy.

I’ve never used a thermal compound which was not smart. Before using this product my 5 year old pc was loud and when i would use my mic to talk to my friends or even stream or record a video my mic would pick up the background noise from my pc which was very annoying. Additionally, my pc was significantly slower and it got very hot which impacted my gaming experience due to overheating. After cleaning my pc hardware it helped a bit but not enough, but then my i got recommend to buy a thermal paste which lead me to finding this great product. This product was at a great price compared to other similar products and providing better durability. After using this product on my pc i have realised a great change in how my pc worked, it became again quiet, my pc has not overheated when playing a game since i’ve first time used this product which has made me happy about my pc imporvment just from using this product and 100% recommend this to you if you are having similar problems with your pc currently.
Excellent price for the resulting decrease in cpu temerpatures and increase in performance
The thermal paste kit came in well sealed and tidy packaging, which adds a second layer of protection to keep the thermal paste ready and to stop it from drying out. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.
I applied it to my i7 8650u in my Lenovo T480s, and following the instructions, my idle temperature for my CPU cores went from 51C to 38C. As I use my laptop with an external GPU for gaming and also on the fly transcoding of videos, this decrease in temperature allows me to utilise more of my CPU before thermal the built in thermal throttling kicks in, which is a huge plus.
So, for the price, and if you’re willing to spend a bit of time taking apart your laptop or PC, this is a great investmement.
