Go with the flow

We offer different flow rates to keep up with your growing baby. Every baby is different but as a guide we suggest slow flow and vari flow for 0+months, medium flow for 3+ months and fast flow for 6+ months.

Moving on

If the bottle teat collapses during feeding, it takes longer than 20 minutes for baby to finish a bottle, or if baby tugs at the teat or baby falls asleep mid-bottle, these are potential signs you may need to increase the teat flow rate.

Change me

Our teats are silky soft. Change them if they get damaged or bitten by tiny teeth. Closer to Nature teats are only compatible with Closer to Nature bottles.

Squeeze me

When assembling your baby bottle, hold the teat up to the light to check the slit in the silicone isn’t sealed closed. If it has, pinch it gently between your fingers or with teat tongs to re-open. If the valve has sealed closed, your bottle won’t vent properly.

I bought some new bottles and needed the larger teats for them and these were perfect. Just a shame you can’t choose the teats when you buy the bottles but that’s not a problem with these.

I had to size up my baby’s teats when he was 2 months old to a size 2 teat as his formula was anti reflux and its a lot thicker than normal formula. Now that hes 5 months ive had to change to these as hes working hard to suck the milk through. Since giving him the fast flow, hes been fine! Im also happy its got a anti colic feature which helps a little. Definately, cheaper than buying 3 packs of 2 from supermarkets!

These were actually recommended to us over the Tommee Tippee starter (1) teets as our daughter had a touch of jaundice when she was born. The vary flow allowed her to drink a lot more and she didn’t struggle to get enough food as she did with the starter teets.

It’s a good quality product, easy to put on and take off, easy to clean and really has flow variation. I don’t think its a good option for those who breastfeed because it can cause teats confusion for the baby.

Used for 3 month old and she gets a good relaxed feed from these teats.
    Wash well and dishwasher safe.

Excellent quality teats for Tommee tippee closer to nature bottles. These are really easy to clean with a quick scrub in washing up liquid, rinse and then stick them in the Milton tub with the bottles! Love that it’s easy to turn them inside out when cleaning too to make sure you’ve cleaned everywhere. Our daughter loves these teats. I feel reassured that they’re BPA free and safe to use.

This pack of two Tommee Tippee teats arrive boxed and ready to sterilise. They have an anti colic valve to stop too much air coming in when baby drinks. They are made of thick and robust silicone. The material is flexible so can just be clicked into the lid before being screwed onto a bottle. These are ideal as spares as the teats can get discoloured with use. They are not cheap but should be long lasting. Suitable for 0+ months so you get a smaller mouthful per gulp.

This item arrived nicely packaged in a cardboard box. Inside the box are two varied flowing teats, suggested for 0+ month babies to help with colic. I think this depends on the baby and how they drink, but it does seem to help with colic. The teats are soft and flexible but strong enough so won’t break from chewing. They’re easy to put in and take out of the lids. What more can I say..They’re tommee tippee! Great brand, good product, would recommend

As with all TT they are really good quality, they should last a while even with the baby teething , it has thick strong silicone and they come in different flow sizes (these are 0+month plus, anti colic).

It means that its a much more environmentally friendly way of doing things as they fit TT bottles that you already have and you can just change them as you need.

Arrived in good condition, the teats are of the same high standards that are expected from tommee tippee. Slightly more expensive than available in stores but the ease of ordering them online softens this

These fit our Tommee Tippee bottles perfectly, they seal fine and there are no leaks. The anti-colic valve seems to be working fine and, fingers crossed, we haven’t had any problems yet. I don’t think that colic can be completely avoided, but so far so good. As for accepting the teat, there were no problems there as we have used Tommee Tippee from the start with these being the next step up in flow rate.

Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Baby Bottle Teats.

These baby bottle teats from Tommee Tippee are great value. The quality of the teats is excellent from a brand you can trust. My granddaughter accepted the new teats without any problem. The teats are BPA free which is always a good thing. I particularly love the plastic free packaging.

The box is almost identical to the slow flow anti colic teat for newborns 0m+ and can be easily mistaken for it. These teats are the faster flow for newborns which can only be used with the ‘Closer to Nature’ Tommee Tippee bottles. Instead of a number these teats are labelled with an ‘x’ symbol on the teat should you end up getting them mixed up with others. These teats look and feels very much the same as the other Tommee Tippee silicone teats, high quality, soft and flexible, easy to clean and sterilise. I believe the ‘vari’ flow range is supposed to allow baby to control their own feed or flow if they feed a litter faster than average. I imagine you’ll get an idea of their feed preference after spending some time with your newborn rather than using them straight off the bat from day 1.
