They are certainly adequate for keeping your phone safe on the beach, protecting it from sand and splashes. They also perform well during long swims or shallow-water dives while snorkeling. However, I would recommend testing them first by placing some toilet paper inside and submerging them in water for a while, just in case the quality control isn’t perfect.

The touchscreen functions work reasonably well when the pouches are wet, but, unlike most I’ve tried, they don’t function properly underwater. It’s a wise precaution to insert your phone away from the beach and sand to prevent tiny grains from getting trapped and breaking the seal.

Additionally, it’s a good idea to remove excess air from the pouch before sealing it, especially in warm climates where the air can expand quickly, making it harder to operate the phone.

Lastly, if the weather is hot, your phone can become quite overheated inside these sealed bags, so it’s advisable not to leave it exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period. If it does get too warm, you can easily cool it down by submerging the bag in water, which will lower the temperature rapidly.

I have to use my phone outdoors in all weather so decided to get one of these to keep it dry. It is a little fiddly to use but worth it as it keeps my phone bone dry while still being able to use it.

This phone pouch works just as expected. It is effective in keeping moisture out. I am still able to use the touch screen through the plastic. There is a camera window on the back so you can still take clear photos. The lanyard is a bit on the long side.

These waterproof phone pouches do the job that they need to do and they do it very well. I like that they are definitely waterproof and they seal up securely and strongly so no water gets into the pouch. They’ve been very easy for me to use, and have been ideal for using in my hot tub. The size of the pouches is very good and they easily fit in my iPhone 13 pro Max. I’m pleased they are clear as I’m able to see my screen, I’m also able to take pictures and the touchscreen is very responsive. I’ve not had any issues with using them and I feel they are very good quality because they are strong sturdy and durable. The lanyard is handy and comfortable for me to use and I’m pleased with how lightweight the pouches are. I feel they are ideal for when I’m travelling abroad and I will take them to Egypt with me when I go on holiday. They are quite versatile and would also be good for camping. I think they are very good value for money, especially because it’s a two pack and I happily recommend them.

This was provided by the Amazon Vine Program.

This arrived is a nice plain presentable box, inside was 2 cases and 2 harnesses.

Now the clip to open and slide the case out is quite stiff so hopefully sill stand the test of time. On the other hand, the plastic feels quite cheap in comparison to my last ones.

I like how there is 2 seals that are further reinforced by folding it over then slipping it into the clip, most have a single point of failure where as this has 3.

I would prefer a more durable feeling plastic for that confidence factor.

We got these for a family holiday as we knew the kids would be phoning and messaging constantly, and we didn’t want to keep getting the phones out to respond. We had no problems with any water or sand getting into the case and that is ideal. The only downside is that that fingerprint unlock didn’t work through the case, but “pattern unlock” worked perfectly so it was still totally a usable solution. I’m not even taking a star off for the lack of fingerprint unlock, I don’t think that should work through an additional layer so I don’t consider it a fault.

These are rather different to waterproof pouches I’ve had previously. There’s no unclipping at either side to open the pouch. This involves unclipping and removing the top part of the pouch so you’re left with just the plastic case, putting your phone in and then sliding the top part back on. It’s more time-consuming and I wasn’t sure I’d like it as it seems like too much faff, but it was easier and quicker than I’d anticipated, especially when you know what you’re doing.

The quality seems pretty good. The plastic is robust, the clips are sturdy enough, I can’t say I’ve noticed any problems or concerns. It works well for waterproofing and keeping your phone or other bits and pieces safe and dry. They also look quite neat in grey with the pouch a shiny clear plastic. They are on the larger size though, so it depends what you’re looking for. At least this allows for larger mobiles or for more items to be stored.

The case is also designed to be touch sensitive, meaning you should be able to use your mobile while it’s inside the pouch. This is where I have one small issue. I have an iPhone SE 2020 so the touch button is a little different as it doesn’t ‘click’ down. This does not work while the phone is inside the case. As such, I could only use the phone if it’s on the correct screen and it’s unlocked without going to sleep, so perhaps just to take photos, for instance. The touchscreen capability is pretty decent, certainly better than one pouch I’d used a few years ago. It’s disappointing most phone pouches don’t consider the newer iPhone home buttons so I wanted to mention it in case that’s important to you.

I think these seem more complicated than they are as I’ve found them quick enough to open and reseal. However, I’d still find it easier to have a regular pouch that you can unclip with one hand and drop your phone in or get it out.

These pouches for phones are perfect for water sports or the pool.

They are watertight, with a double locking system. The case folds over with a sealable strip then slides into the holder which has the locking clip to hold closed.

The case allows you to use the phone whilst in the water, making it easy to film or take pictures. The clear case is great and the pictures are clear.

The clip is quite strong which is good, allowing the case to be attached to the strap easily and secure.

    These are great value!

A Holiday essential for taking photos in the water

The lanyard phone holder works really well in the sea, we go paddleboarding a lot and like to take photos, this works well, I haven’t submerged it for too long but after use my phone was bone dry

Very easy to place your phone in the pouch as long as you don’t have extremely long nails
Did the water test by dropping it in a pool and have had no issues.
The camera quality is very good whilst the phone is in the pouch so as long as you don’t scratch the outside of the pouch and you keep it clean, it works perfectly to take pictures and videos

These TUSEASY Waterproof Phone Pouches (2 for 8.99) represent outstanding value-for-money. TUSEASY employ a different method of sealing their phone dry bags to the dry bags I have reviewed from other sellers; gone is the usual clumsy big clamp & instead the top of the bag is closed with double squeeze seals (common on many plastic bags these day, with the whole of the top of the bag rolled over a couple of times before being slid sideways into a slot & afterwards sealed closed by a snap-down flap. this arrangement is less bulky than the clamp arrangement on most other phone dry bags. I like it & it will be my go-to dry bag so long as it continues to exclude entry of water.

I’m always in situations where my phone is at risk of getting a soaking, either when out walking, or in warmer weather by the coast. I’ve been lucky to this point, especially as it got really wet a couple of times last winter so this is a perfect solution. The phone is doubly protected in this case yet still the touchscreen can be used (especially handy if using a map app) had can hang round your neck so doesn’t need to go in a pocket. Slightly fiddly to use, especially when get the phone out if you, like me, have large fingers. Otherwise it’s really handy – there are two in the pack so one for each of us.

Very nice waterproof pouch. Comes with lanyard and is easy to use the phone while in the pouch. Very interesting way to access and seal, but it does the job. Very convenient to take in the pool or lake.
