Great little seats for sitting on backless benches, or on the ground at a festival – gives a little extra padding and support for the back. If there’s one problem, its that the waterproof fabric make the derriere a little sweaty, but I’m sure that can be counteracted with a blanket or something over it.
I’ve not used it yet but tried it at home, when I first tried it I thought there’s no support, but then I tightened the side straps and it’s perfect, I bought it for the beach and it’s ideal
These seats are great value for the pair and give a comfortable seat even if getting into it could not be described as graceful and was less than ladylike.
The stitching seems good and well finished and reinforced where the supports are which is good.
The carry handles are great and are easy to attach to a backpack and lightweight on the wrist, and the pocket on the back it’s perfect for your bits and bobs, drinks and sarnis.
Once placed and the buckles adjusted it’s pretty comfy to be fair and would be great for festivals, beaches or picnics. It can be used on a picnic bench too and I know my elderly mum would prefer a bit of support in that situation.
The ground was wet when I put it down but I didn’t get damp.
There is some cushioning so you don’t notice the stones or prickly plants. The buckles are ok but I’d have preferred to see more heavy duty ones.
They are simple to wipe down and store and can accommodate different sized people.
Obviously this can’t be compared to a regular chair but they keep you upright, you stay dry and nettle free and they are pretty comfortable, and of course you can carry them around with you.
In my opinion they are good value and well made.

Seats arrived promptly. Seemed slightly less firm than I expected. Need to adjust side straps to get a tight fit to provide support. For me (6ft 2 and 15 stone it gave a measure of support, better than sitting with none, and for my duaghter it provided good support and comfort. Planning to use for wildlife watching
This back support is a really good product. Used it at a concert and worked a treat. The only small criticism is that it could do with something to keep it together whilst carrying it, ie snaps or something. I stuck some velcro on but it wasn’t very successful. All in all though, worth the money and saved my back!
