Brilliant hair trimmer, any length.
This is without a doubt the best hair cutting/trimming device for the money + performance, no snagging or pulling of hair, head or beard, good weight easy to handle, feels well built in operating, in short its brilliant.
Work well
First use today. Bought these as a cheap option for DIY cuts on my son, but a few pound more than the cheapest WAHL option.
They work great. The vibration is minimal and they cut my son’s hair really well. The size and shape of the clippers are comfortable to hold and all of the accessories and grade clips go on and off really nicely.
Easy to use
This clipper is easy to handle, especially with its cordless design. It does the job well, with a good variety of combs to choose from. Charging is quick, and cleaning is easy. I would recommend.
I only use these as a set of Beard Clippers as i have a medium to long beard. I like to keep on top of whispy bits in between Barber visits and it being rinseable was a top pull to this item. That and the brand being synonymous with Hair cutting products.
Comes in a great travel case, it contains everything pictured and hold charge for a long time. I charged it up once when i purchased it and haven’t had cause to charge it up yet.
The rinse in water aspect is great – an easy way to quickly get rid of any leftovers or bristles and leave your clippers ready for putting back into the case. A good value Wahl product.
N.B comes complete with left and right ear attachment. Excellent for a medium to longer bearded man.

The trimmer works well, and the guard selection is good. Great value for money, but I wish it used USB-C for charging instead of the proprietary connection it has. I lost my charger for a month or so and ended up looking like a Yeti.
This is the first reasonably priced thing I’ve bought all year (and let’s face it, we all need a bit of that now). Comes with a lot of accessories which I don’t need but that doesn’t matter. It has a useful bag but the real winner is the clipper itself. Solid, really well constructed but also light. I used to have heavy mains corded clippers and thought cordless wouldn’t be up to the job. My hair is thick at the back and sides and the WAHL went through it like butter. The blades are clearly sharp but don’t scrape your skin (used it without any of the guards). 12 hour recharge is quite a long time and haven’t had it long enough to check battery life, but so far very impressed.
initial impressions review:
the clipper is well designed. it comes with lots of accessories including oil and a small brush for the blades, a number of different length guides to clip onto the blades and scissors. all pretty standard stuff. first out of the box the clippers need charging for up to 18 hours. i just used the clipper and i’m impressed. i cannot comment on the battery life but the instructions say that it will cut for 45minutes before needing recharge i.e. well over what the average home user will ever need for a single cut. the clipper is not as heavy as the mains operated clippers that i used before, which can be seen as a positive or a negative depending upon your view on how clippers should feel in the hand. i liked heavy. i now like lighter. the blades are super effective in cutting hair (and so they should be when its brand new). its recommended the blades be lubricated both before and after use and there is a large card in the package saying its important to keep the blades clean and lubricated. the blades can be removed from the handle simply by pulling them forwards, the whole blade unit clips off, and can be popped into sterilizing fluid or washed under the tap which is great if your clippers are shared in the family etc.
the power supply does not use a usb plug to charge the clippers, but has a small figure-of-eight type plug which is proofed against insertion the wrong way around. it needs a fairly positive push into the clipper to get it to seat properly.
the first cut that i have just made was super effective, the battery lasted the 15 minutes it took me to accomplish a good cut, and i have no negative things to point out. i guess one good thing about having a rechargeable unit is that it can be taken away on holiday etc for a tidy-up cut without having to drag along a long cable and plug.
so far so good, and i am trying not to give these clippers the full 100% recommendation i.e. to find fault, but in all honesty cannot give them anything but the full 100%.
