I’ve been using this hairdryer for quite a while and I must say it’s worth every penny. I love that it comes with attachments so I can comb my hair and dry it at the same time. This cuts down time on my hair routine and I appreciate that. I also use it to install my wigs it does a good job of drying the glue on a medium setting
Great blow dryer. Really good heat settings. I have 3c/4a hair and it got it nice and dry and tangle free (in prep for straightening) using the pik attachment. It felt like it took less time to blow dry than it has with other dryers. The pik attachment does come off so you have to kind of hold it on whilst drying. Once you have the knack it’s fine. If I was using the pik to touch up a blow dry I wouldn’t need to hold it, it only when going through thick curly damp hair.
This coupled with the straightener gave me the best result I’ve had straightening my natural hair.

This was so close to being great, I found the pik attachment to be one of the best I’ve used, but not being able to use the hair pik at the highest temperature meant it took much longer to blow my hair out properly.

I’m glad I bought this dryer it’s really good for my hair. it’s not difficult to travel with and it’s very powerful and it doesn’t take long for my hair to dry too I would defo get another one again!

Even though it is light for traveling it is a little on the bigger side..hence more space to carry in up our luggage. It is very powerful which makes drying of hair quicker.
I bought this item primarily for the afro pik. As others have mentioned the placement of the buttons means you can’t hold the dryer at the handle and the Afro pik does slip off after a few minutes of use. You essentially have to grip the dryer at the attachment to be able to use the afro pik properly. If you dry your hair in small sections it just about holds in place for the duration of each section. I found holding it with a small hand towel helped as made it less slippery. The concentrated nozzle that came with it didn’t fit the dryer but luckily i didn’t need it. Drying power was very good and the pik, when staying in place, worked well. This was a last minute urgent purchase which arrived quickly. the price was reasonable and it got the job done.
I do prefer Wahl products and see them used a lot in salons too.
This is nice and powerful as the wattage suggests.
If you are using this by yourself, with pick attachment added it’s quite awkward to handle because it makes the hairdryer longer in length.
Instructions advise not to use on the highest heat setting (III) with pick attached or risk damaging it. Well if you need to use the pick in the first place, your hair needs the maximum heat setting blasting through it!
My hair is currently relaxed but not entirely. Combing the pick through my hair is tricky enough on II heat. If my hair was entirely 4c texture, it would be a struggle.
This needs a pick attachment that can handle use on maximum heat.
