Obviously tested this first with a bit of tissue paper and it worked so we took it on holiday and it was brilliant. I really enjoyed photographing fish underwater in the sea and knowing that my phone was safe.
Bought this for our recent holiday but always I was a little optimistic. Can’t fault them at all. Phone worked, pictures were just as good as without the case, money & keys also stayed dry in there. Highly recommended Xxx
I bought this because i had previously purchased a running belt from Gritin and was really pleased with that, so trusted the name, and trust it i did.
My phone was dry, there was no real condensation inside the pouch to note, its no substitute for a purpose made waterproof video camera, but the pictures came out clear, video and pics all were from inside the pouch, lots more photos of people came out really clear and in focus with no misting.
It felt secure on the lanyard to be able to swim freely with it round my neck.
A great piece of holiday essentials. For reference it held my Xperia 5 no problem.
It was totally worth it. I accidentally dropped my phone during a kayak activity and it was under the water for over 5 minutes. Nothing happened to my phone. The case was completely waterproof! Very satisfied with the product.
Used these whilst snorkelling and they kept my phone dry.
Swipes and presses work out of the water really nicely but they don’t work whilst in the water.
To take videos I had to surface, start the video and then go under, but took some great vids.
Had another similar pouch that came with (what was supposed to be a waterproof bag) that broke even before we used it. These ones feel robust.
Looking forward to using them again.
So the size of these works well for my iPhone 12 and my wife’s larger redmi note pro. I did the suggested overnight test with some stuffed in toilet tissue. Bone dry next day. So as confident as I can be I went ahead and used these. The worst thing about the product is not the product itself it’s the inevitable dust and humidity condensation that you get in the case after a while. No fault of the product. Even in turkey heat the plastic held up well and was super flexible allowing you to use the buttons as the shutter without fear of tearing at the seams. Thin material may or may not last but you get two and I bought them for this trip and would buy again no worries. The plastic case will inevitably make pictures less clear but that’s just impossible to avoid. Best results for me came with holding the case as flat as possible tight around the phones lense. Worked well enough and still far better than a disposable underwater camera
The actual water resistance could not be better and is incredible! I only say it didn’t work too well is because of CONDENSATION due to the difference in temperature in and outside the pouch. This is SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN in warm waters though so it NOT THE SELLERS FAULT!! I love it so much and the instructions could not be better. Thank you so much for the help and the seller was incredible!
Don’t underestimate the usefulness of these lanyard cases even though your phone is waterproof as these cases will keep dust and sand out while being waterproof to keep your keycard and cash safe.
The design is effective and simple; perfect for hotel resorts and water parks.
I appear to have taken up swimming and am honestly considering going in the sea for a proper dip (don’t worry I have been reading up on what I need to do safety wise and have a big changing robe on order) so I’m going to need something to keep my phone safe while out in the water. You get two in here – black and white so you can match it to your phone. They also come with a lanyard which is really sturdy and well made, I think the bag you put the phone into is also superb. It fits my super old phone but if you’ve got a huge phone it’s not going to work, sorry. It’s easy to open once you realise how it opens – with a clippy thing at the back, and then it’s like a click and lock bag. It really works for me and I can’t wait to try it although the thought of getting it wet is still a scary one!
