We have only had the oven for 2 days and cooked pizzas last night: this oven is exceptionally good. The gas regulator did need changing for a uk one (5 mins work once we had the right part), and buying a hand held laser thermometer tells you when the oven has reached 500C. First pizza (in the photo was great, the rest were better.
    Highly recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Pizza ove

What a beautiful piece of kit! Stunning! Not been able to use it yet as I’ve never owned a gas cylinder before and found the guidance on this to be rubbish. You can’t actually get them in many places in the UK – try B&Q. Propane is better for the UK given the low temperature and the recommendation for pizza ovens but the fitting is for Bupane or whatever it’s called. Had to cut regulator and pipe off and now struggling to fit new one. Please Witt don’t assume everyone knows how to get your oven connected to gas – your beautiful oven is just some decoration in my garden until it has power.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is without a doubt a fantastic pizza oven.

Cooks the greatest pizzas to perfection. Nothing comes close. The rotating stone makes it so easy. just wonderful.

Beware though! The oven comes fitted with a weird european (i think) gas regulator. So you cannot use it out the box. You need to buy a uk one and fight like anything to get the host off and swap it. This is really hard and you’ll probably end up taking a hacksaw to it…….

    Something like this

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gas-Regulator-Mikalor-Stainless-Flogas/dp/B07574V4BR/ref=asc_df_B07574V4BR

    is required.

Also it totally impossible to see if the under stone burner is lit. You can hear the woosh as it lights, but you simply dont know if its still lit when you let the wheel out. So there is a fair bit of anxiety! There is a supposed hole to see if its lit, but I cant see any gas pilot light there. Its just too bright outside!

EDIT – turns out that the reason I couldnt tell was that it wasnt lit at all and was faulty. Ignition did not spark.

So thats a serious design flaw.

But, this really is a terrific bit of kit for evenings in the garden, if you get one that works!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving experienced the other well known brands I was looking for something a little more idiot proof and took the plunge. Have to say, very impressed with the product, gets up to temperature very quickly and with the dual burner control easy to maintain the desired temperature. The spinning stone is the reason you purchase this oven and it work flawlessly. Great pizzas every time.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersNo complaints at all.
Straight out the box with a supermarket bought dough ball I’m creating the best pizza I’ve ever had. Honestly, with zero experience the pizza we created was amazing.
The oven heated up in no time, the rotating stone ensured even cooking, the base of the pizza was crisp due to the fast heating of the oven and stone – the pizza cooked in less than a minute and a half. 5 more pizza later and everyone is fed and every pizza was perfect.
I was ready to buy a Ooni or a Roccbox and changed my mind at the last minute. No regrets – this oven is worth every penny.
Order with confidence – you won’t regret it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe’d been looking to upgrade to something like this for a while and what swung it was the rotating stone making it a little easier when entertaining. also our current one was just too small so it’s nice to now be able to make larger pizzas. I also like the design of the booster burner that is under the pizza stone which gives it a great base and Crust! Very well thought out. It was easy to set up and easy to use.

You can tell how good the build quality is from the weight of the product and the materials used.

Can’t wait to use it more over the coming months and experiment with different topping ideas and see how other things cook on it once we have some more accessories.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPurchased this pizza oven as a post Christmas treat to myself. I expected it to sit in the box until the warmer months, but I just couldn’t resist testing it out once it had arrived. Once I’d fired it up (I think it took under 20 mins to be hot enough) the pizza cooked so quickly I couldn’t believe it! The oven not only looked stunning in my garden (albeit in winter), but the pizza was delicious. It tasted just like one from a restaurant. Can’t wait for pizza on summer nights!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving done some research I wanted a well built Pizza Oven and also a simplified cooking option and wow I haven’t ben disappointed.
With a U Shaped burner I have cooked several Pizza’s already and it certainly is true that you get an evenly baked pizza every time and the Oven took only approximately 15 minutes to heat up and be ready to cook so I didn’t have to wait long.
Also with a dual burner and the Rotation included it is simplicity itself.
    What a Fantastic product.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI wanted a pizza oven in the garden for ages but most of them are too small for a decent size pizza or flimsy built and not likely to stand up long in UK weather. Saw the Witt one (it’s a big Danish company) at a friends house and wanted one immediately as its a big ol’ beast and feels built to last. Was gonna put it off till spring but a New Year Pizza-Party idea meant and early buy and a fabulous fun evening in the rain feeding everyone with the toppings choices getting madder as the night went on with guests chipping in ‘recipe’ ideas.

So, my thoughts: Build and finish are top notch and well up to the price — much better than any other brands I have seen. The Stone colour one I bought is light grey and matches our patio furniture well and isn’t too tough to clean. Black or grey might have been a safer bet but the stone colour looks very good. It lights every time, first time and came with a normal gas hose and valve ready to go. Just add a gas bottle.

I am no expert on cooking pizzas, so there is a learning curve if that is you. We had a few ‘oh dear’ moments (over-done mostly) to start with, but the wine was flowing and it was dark didn’t help in my defence. The pizzas cook much, much quicker than I expected — literally a couple of mins when the oven is up to temp, so it’s easy to bash them out one after the other for hungry guests — if you can get a willing assistant to prep them fast enough. We used ready-made pizza dough balls from Chef For Foodies — not cheap, but really nice and soooo easy.

Only used it once more since NYE, in the daylight and it cooks really evenly. Top tip – get a decent pizza slice thing (I think they are called a ‘pizza peel’) as it’s a bit of a PITA to get pizzas in and out using normal kitchen utensils. Overall though, the fam and friends love it, and I see it getting a lot of use come the summer. Very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOnce unpacked we were amazed by the build quality and how well this oven was designed with an obvious attention to detail.
Simple to assemble and this was achieved in less than 3 minutes by unfolding the four legs and putting the Pizza Stone in place.
Once we connected to our Gas Bottle the stone reached the desired temperature within 15 minutes which was highly impressive and then the fun began.
We have only had the oven for three days but have already experimented with a number of different toppings which makes the whole process fun for all the family.
    Couldn’t recommended it enough.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWow what a swift delivery, my pizza oven arrived at 8am, I was so surprised at the early arrival, I then started to unpack the oven and I was very impressed on how well packaged everything was, even the Pizza stone was so well secured.
The Witt pizza oven is really well made and solidly built, it certainly oozes quality, it has four folding legs with rubber feet for stability, all I had to do once I had unpacked it was to put the pizza stone in place, then it didn’t take me long to hook it up to my gas bottle, and within 10minutes it was up and running, I was amazed at how quick it got up to temperature, 500 degrees I timed it at 17minutes and 23 seconds, even though the instructions says 18minutes. I have a friends with pizza oven that take a lot longer to heat up.
Having now made several pizzas for the family I love the U-shaped burner it gives a more even cooking experience, although you still need to turn the pizza, I’m currently experimenting with different recipes I have taken off the various web sites and all the different toppings, even trying it with Pineapple topping
The whole experience from unpacking, setting up the oven and now cooking my fifth pizza has been an absolute breeze.
Get your hands on one of these Pizza ovens they will change your life.
