Our kitties only like wood pellet litter, turning their noses up (metaphorically speaking) at clumping, so we needed something to sit beside the litter tray to catch the various bits of wood and sawdust they would commonly bring with them upon exiting. This thing is great – the honeycomb pattern holes on top capture a good amount of the tracked litter (not all of it, but near enough) and it’s very easy to lift the whole thing and hold it over a bin before opening to release the trapped stuff.

    Really useful.

Works like a charm for a messy cat that likes to track litter everywhere. Only down side is having to wait a couple of days for it to flatten out after delivery as its folded into a small box.

We have been using this for more than a year now and we love it. Its easy to clean and keeps the litter in pretty good. It did come out of the package folded but we just folded it the other way and it was fine so dont let that put you off!!!
    Highly recommend.

I’ve got two cats, two litter trays. Pet hate is all the litter that gets EVERYWHERE. Bought one of these to try out, based on ads for a more expensive version elsewhere and this was recommended. Pleasantly surprised to find it does what it promises and there’s a LOT less litter tracking – not 100% perfect, but much better than others. So good that within a day of using the first one (to try), I’d bought the second one. Even bigger bonus (for me) is that I don’t hurt my knees on the laminate floor anymore when cleaning trays, as I just kneel on this. Delighted. Would recommend cat owners or similar try it out.

This is far too small and only covers size of litter box not enough room for a few cm bigger than the litter box which is needed as cats dig and dig leaving mess over the box in any directio

    Works as intended
I have 2 cats so litters constantly comming out

Litter still finds a way to escape the mat it always does but this catcher does make it better

Although my cat will think it’s still ok to pee on it as theirs litter there but that’s just a problem I’ve run into with my ca

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe use a clumping cat litter that is like sawdust, its brilliant but the cats spread it all over the place.
Bought two of these to try and trap the litter as the cats exit the litter box, which has a dome lid and flap door entrance. The mat is too small to make any noticeable difference, plus when exiting the litter the cats simply jump over the mat. It does collect some debris and is easy to clean, but we are hoovering on a daily basis.

Nice mat. One of life’s little things that bugs you is sweeping up cat litter that’s spewed over the floor. The mat stops the stuff going everywhere, big plus, and provides easy way to clean it up without getting your hands dirty. Easily cleaned with a cloth. Discreet. No fuss. Value for money.

A good size- it covers the area outside the litter tray well. It does its job by catching litter that has been kicked out of the tray by my cat, but it doesn’t help with the dusty, litter coloured paw prints that get everywhere.

Easy to clean, rinse off and dry.

I wasn’t expecting the description to match the product.. it is smaller than I expected (half the size) but it does do the job better than anticipated. Picks up way more litter than the horrid, hard to clean noodle-like mats. Super easy to empty and clean. His Lairdship also prefers it to the noodle mats as he can’t accidentally get his claws stuck in it (cos he’s a moron and likes to walk with his claws out).

It’s ok. Does what I need and expect it to. Pieces of litter still escape sometimes – perhaps from the cat knocking them when walking over it regularly. The cat often attempts to wipe his paw on the floor rather than the mat which is concerning for creating scratches.

Ok, this doesn’t solve 100% of the tracking issue, but it does significantly lower the risk. Works best with wood litter and the easy clean mechanism works a treat. Cats don’t mind walking on it either. Cleaner floors all round.

These are pretty perfect for what I needed them for, you do have to buy a few if you want the litter tray sitting on them but they do their job.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe have tried dozens of different cat litter mats, so far these seem to be the best. However, I think that can be mostly due to the type of litter. We use a paper based litter that is light enough to get EVERYWHERE but small enough to fit through the holes of this mat and get trapped.

When we had to temporarily switch to wood pellets, this mat became a little less useful.

They are good size mats, they come folded so need to be flattened out and while they do a great job at trapping the cat litter, that idea of just opening them and tipping the litter out doesn’t happen as easily as it’s made out to be.

Also, if you have cats who have accidents (cue our elder cat who sometimes has gastro-issues) they can become a nightmare to clean quickly as “drips” and other messes and up gunking it up. However, due to the material, we can take it out and hose it off. So not quick and easy to clean but manageable.

Overall, mostly pleased with it and use them for both litters.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good catcher, but has an issue

Sadly it’s not as good as I hoped. I get fed up of finding kitty litter all over the house and especially the kitchen floor. It does collect some of the dust but I’m still getting it on my feet in the kitchen. Quite easy to clean aslong as they don’t pee on i

Has reduced slightly the dragged litter in my office but accidents happen with long haired kittens as he is not aware of where his ass and tail are and consequently i’ve had to put my hand inside the mat and push poop up out of hex holes and into antibacterial wipes to keep this thing clean. you have to wash the litter out of it every month under the tap too. you’d need a few of these to stop a room getting littered up to the nines to be fair and I’d rather pay 100 for a giant half room sized one of these things as my cat is a god damn tard.

It never even occurred to me that there was something to catch kicked up cat litter.

While our cats litter tray is away, hooded and hidden. We found ourselves constantly finding litter around the house.

On ordering my latest batch of cat litter it came with helpful hints and mentioned a tracker pad to catch excess cat litter when your pet leaves their tray.
So obviously I went straight to Amazon and found this one.

As soon as it was set up and getting used, I noticed how quickly it was catching pieces of the litter and how very little amounts I was now finding around the house.
After a day I was shocked at how much it had caught – This normally would have been all around the house in various places forcing me to trace around the cats usual path with the vacuum cleaner.

I had a problem and just thought it was something you had to deal with, so glad there was a quick and easy solution with the Asobeage litter mat.

If you’ve got a littler problem. Please buy this.

I use wood pellet litter for my indoor cats, the litter tray is on tiles and I was finding pellet shavings everywhere walked off from the cats.

I used to use a standard cotton foot mat but found it harder to clean as the shavings become trapped and didn’t wash out easy either. I also didn’t want to be constantly washing a material may as it absorbs liquid and smells.

This mat does the job – placed it where the cats step out of the litter and it catches most of the excess now, not every single speck, but it does a good job – the difference being it’s easy to vacuum up and to wipe clean without the need to put it through a washing machine.

It’s very lightweight and so too early to tell how durable it is. It came folded and so needed flattened under some books for a day before it would lay flush on the floor.

Not the most stylish looking, but it’s practical and does a good job, and let’s face it, it’s going next to a litter tray which in itself is no fashion item!

Good purchase, reasonably priced and worth it IMO.

In a cold, dark winter, I lamented the dust from the wood-based cat litter. Then: behold! A mat to collect it! Excited at the prospect, I ordered it eagerly. What wonders awaited at its arrival! It worked its magic, collecting the bits, reducing clean-up efforts and brought joy to these dark times.
This joy was clearly not shared by all.
One morning soon after the mat’s arrival, a mysterious damp patch appeared on the hall carpet. Later, a poo was discovered behind the sofa. These were cleaned up with a shrug. Maybe one of our cats stopped the other from going in and “alternative arrangements” were required. We can write-off a one-off event. However, subsequent days brought fresh discoveries of three more poos in different places behind the sofa. Clearly something has changed that has induced one or both cats to seek alternative faece-elimination spots. The only thing that has changed is appearance of the mat. I can but conclude that at least one of my cats dislikes the mat enough to defile the living room carpet.
The mat is now cast aside, and I hope all household members’ fresh faeces revert to arriving in their appropriate receptacles. I award this product 4 stars: it certainly does as it says, but my cat’s/cats’ dislike of it renders it useless.

This is an amazing mat, which is brilliant for keeping the floor clean around the cat box. It is so easy to clean and get rid of mess. You literally just pick it up and it separates slightly and you can pour the contents into the bin. Very cleverly designed.
I am ordering several more of these because they are also wonderful to use as kitchen mats. The sturdy rubber honeycomb feels amazing to stand on and actually helps my lower back from being sore after standing in the kitchen for so long. I do a lot of food prep and not only does this catch all the crumbs, bits of food and liquid, it makes it so easy to clean up! Plus the added benefit of not having tired legs and sore back.
Ive actually been searching for the perfect kitchen mats and I’ve finally found them!
I’ve been in touch with the company to tell them how great I think their mat is and asked if they could make bigger ones for the kitchen. They were very polite and appreciated my feedback. I think this would also make a good doormat too!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI use catsan clumping litter. Kitten is 8 weeks. I think it could be a good product at catching litter and also if he accidentally steps on his poop. However he seems to hate the look of it..and walks around it to try to get to the litter tray. I tried to put him on the mat but he hates the texture and kept lifting his paws. So I’ve had to move it for now and see maybe in a few weeks he will be ok. As long as the litter is dry that spills out of the box it would be easy to clean but if it’s contains any fecal matter I guess it would stick to the mat..better that than on the floor…at that poi t you would have to hose it down or something. It isn’t very big as the picture would suggest but then it has measurements so I can’t rate it bad if I didn’t check the size. Maybe I will give an update if he suddenly starts to use the mat. I also flattened mine by bending it opposite way and stepping on it. It’s folded in the box.

Update: he doesn’t mind it, think he needed to get used to it. It is helping collect some litter so without it there would be more mess. I would recommend but get the larger version.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Maybe a good item...kitten didn't like i

Before I bought it I was a little concerned as some reviews mention about it coming folded in half which was then causing it to have a “permanent fold” and not lay flat due to it but I gave it a chance and purchased it and how glad am I that I did as it is amazing.

I bought this as my cat unfortunately started tending to pee on the edge of the litter tray and not aiming properly which meant there would occasionally be pee outside the tray needing to be cleaned so I was looking for a mat that I would put under the tray to “collect” this pee and make it easier to clean if it were to happen.

This has worked wonders for that, the material is liquid resistant and slightly absorbant to a degree but it won’t seep through the bottom layer to the floor so the mess is contained inside it. The holes are big enough for the litter I use and catches vast majority of the tracking.

It’s easy to clean due to the material used and so far has stayed odourless even after having pee on it several times and for several hours on the odd occasion due to it having happened over night.

In regards to the “permanent fold” concern and complaints, this is heavily exagerated as it’s very very easilly fixed. Yes it comes packed folded and yes once you initially take it out it has that very defined fold and won’t lay flat straight away however all you need to fix it is a hairdryer and less than 3 minutes.
All I had to do was slightly bend it the opposite way while applying hot hair from the hairdryer to the folded area to warm it up so that it regains it’s original shape and it took less than 3 minutes to get it perfectly straight.

One one thing I suggest for extra absorption of liquids in case your pet has very bad aim is add a strong paper towel (Plenty, Blitz or similar ones) inside it and it will contain much more liquid without overflowing

Much better than its predecessor that rubber woven mat that was a pain to clean and ripped up on the edges . The size is my issue. I wish there was a larger size when I got this. I do still have issues with litter not staying on the mat but it is far less a mess than before. Over all it is far greater than mats used in the past. I like that I can run my hoover over it and get a lot of the excess before dumping it out in the bin. I have been using it for several months now and it has held up very well. No rips or tears. My cats don’t pluck at it like the did the other mat. I would suggest this to anyone. I do plan to get another one for their food area. They are messy eaters.
