This beach tent offers a comprehensive package of features that make it an excellent choice for sun protection and outdoor activities.

The UPF 50+ sun protection is a standout feature, ensuring that you and your family are shielded from 99.5% of UVA and UVB rays. This level of protection is substantiated by testing, providing peace of mind against sunburn and skin damage. The silver coating on the fabric is a smart addition, enhancing the tent’s ability to deflect the sun’s rays.

Setting up the tent is a breeze, taking only 2-3 minutes. The use of strong corded fiberglass poles keeps the tent lightweight, making it easy to transport. The included carrying bag adds to the convenience, making it a hassle-free experience from start to finish.

The design of the tent focuses on comfort, with ample airflow facilitated by a large mesh window and open door ventilation. This ensures that even on hot and sunny days, you’ll stay cool and comfortable inside.

The emphasis on sturdiness is another strong point. The 8.5mm fiberglass poles and additional sand pockets and steel stakes provide a secure foundation. This means the tent can withstand windy conditions, ensuring it stays firmly in place.

In terms of size, the tent comfortably accommodates up to 3 people, making it suitable for various outdoor activities like camping, fishing, or picnics. The spacious interior with a front porch offers flexibility for seating arrangements or additional storage.

Overall, this beach tent combines essential features such as sun protection, ease of setup, portability, ventilation, and durability. It’s an excellent investment for anyone looking to enjoy outdoor activities while staying protected from the sun.

This beach shade is really nice. It is ok to set up and (mine) folding was hmmm. but this is just me. Itis ok built and quality for the price but really great once set up. It was great for a really sunny day at the park. It was a nice space for my autistic son to come to when he needed a chill “quiet” space. We did have a bit of gusty wind and a slight drizzle so it was great to have this to keep us protected from this. Yet to use on the beach but I still like this. IT is also easy to tote which is great as I had a 10min walk to the park with a ton of other stuff.

We set it up in a few minutes. Maybe takes 2 mins more when doing it alone. Also easy to put together. Just teo poles as a cross. Job done. Good, comfortable size.

5.0 out of 5 stars super easy to set up and does what it should

This is so easy to pop up and down. It has 2 fold up sticks that slide through the top and hey presto. It’s big enough to sit 2 adults inside and a child. My daughter is autistic and light sensitive so when we go outside on a sunny day I put this up with her pillows and blanket so if it’s to much she can lie in it and still be outside. It has handy pegs to secure and a storage bag. It’s came to the park with us. The beach and a trip to Edinburgh and each time we just popped it up in minutes and allowed our daughter a safe space to get out of the sun. Fantastic

This tent is nice and compact and easy to transport. It comes in a carry case which makes taking it from the car to beach easy and hassle free.

The set up can take a bit to get your head around, especially if you do what we did and put it up first time at the beach. I would recommend a trial run in a garden to better understand what you’re meant to be doing.

The tent itself is made of a nice sturdy material which stood up to 2 kids and 2 dogs running in and out of the tent. It does seem to provide sun protection but I cannot assess the UV protection as I have no way of measuring that.

It did make for a nice added shade to sit under during a sunny day.

Wow this is such an excellent value beach tent for keeping little ones out of direct heat and also creating a bit of camping / base like excitement .

Having zero experience putting up tents, it took me about 20 minutes to set it up on my own but doing it a second time I feel I could get that down to about 10 minutes!

The tent has some really good features for the price such as netted windows on each side that can also be covered by tying the attached fabric sheet up.

It also has interior pockets for storing things.

My kids were excited when I set it up in the living room and I can’t wait to use it on a beach when we go away in a few weeks!

    Well worth the money!

Great for travel and easy to set up.
When you have small kids ,a tent is always needy .
Although the summer in uk this year is playing us ,we never know when it will become needed.
Luckily I got to actually use it last week as we had the heat wave across the Uk.
The tent will actually need a bit of assembly and whilst is not hard it’s not the fastest.
Very light but once set up is sturdy enough for windy days.
Spacious, there is enough room for 2-3 adults.
It requires just a tiny storage space ,and with the bag and it’s handle it can be easily carried away ,no extra bag needed.
Good to have at the beach ,parks ,and even own garden.
    Suitable for kids and adults.

This tent is very lightweight and comes with a carrying bag that makes it easy to transport. It has a UPF 50+ rating that protects from harmful UV rays and keeps the inside cool. The tent is spacious enough for 2-3 people and has two windows for ventilation. It also has pockets and hooks for storing items and hanging lights. The best part is that it is very easy to set up and take down. It only takes a few minutes to pop up the tent and secure it with stakes and sandbags. The tent is also very sturdy and can withstand strong winds and rain. I would highly recommend this beach tent for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient shelter for outdoor activities. It is well worth the price and offers great value for money.

I know it’s a beach shelter but you could probably use it as a little kitchen area if you were out camping so you had a separate food area to your main tent. Overall good quality and really easy to put togethe

This is an excellent lightweight tent for sheltering on the beach whether from the sun, when we get it, or from the wind. This mustn’t be mistaken for an all weather tent as it’s meant for fine weather use and whilst it will protect from a sudden shower it’s not meant for usage in the rain.

The first thing I noticed was how compact it is when folded up in it’s carry bag which means it’s easy to carry or throw in another bag as it won’t take up much space. Putting it together is pretty straight forward but a lot easier if there’s two of you doing it as it’s so lightweight the wind catches it easily and you may end up damaging the poles which slot through the guides. These poles then slot in to black tabs at each corner and you also use pegs to fasten the tabs down. A sand bag is also located on each side if needed but I haven’t found them necessary. Once fully constructed I found it to be quite sturdy, especially when you’re sitting in it and it is nice to sit in when you’re on the beach. The size is perfect for my wife and I and our 6 year old daughter, but when our dog jumps in to it’s a bit of a squash and I usually get pushed out. The quality of the tent material is quite good although very thin and the poles whilst fairly sturdy do feel like under much duress they may break so care should be taken when erecting and dismantling the tent.

In summary this is a nice good quality lightweight tent which adds to your enjoyment on a day out. Highly recommended.

It’s very lightweight so if there’s a wind you may need two people to erect this as it blows away when the wind catches it.

The poles are a little fiddly but there’s a knack . Once you have done it it gets easier

Ideal for shading against the sun and wind on a beach or the garden. Great play area for kids on a hot sunny day

This sun shelter tent is brilliant. It’s perfect for picnics, which is what we have been using it for, as it provides shelter from intense sunlight and wind. With regard to size, it is perfect for a family of 3. It is also easy to assemble and disassemble. The material is fine to wipe down too. Overall it is very practical.

We had the luxury of a pop up beach tent that was the same size as this, with that all you did was pull it out is flat round bag and it popped into shape, the hardest bit was folding it up as there was a bit of a knack to twisting so it would fit back in the bag but once you had the knack it was simple.
This one is a whole lot harder, first you need feed the rods through the tent, first time I tried it I plugged all the sections of the poles together and slid them in but the poles are quite long and just felt awkward the second time I assembled this I assemble the poles as I slid them through the tent, either way works, but it’s a fiddle in the wind as the tent is very light and blows all over the place, easier to do it with another person, once the rods are in place and tied at the top the tent is a nice size, but the front is open and the back is see through, where as our old one had a zipped up flap and no see through back so it could be used for changing in, this one not so good.
Packing this tent away is also a pain, as you try and feed the rods back through the tent they get snagged and pull apart, each poles sections are joined with cord but it’s risky pulling on the cord because it can snap and that will make things very difficult, so fiddle and twiddle eventually it all comes apart and can be folded up and put back in it nice little bag.
This tent like all these beach tents comes with tent pegs which are pretty useless on sandy or pebble beaches only any good on grass, but the tent does have pockets to put sand or pebbles in to help hold it down, not that is good enough on more windy days but as long as there is something weighty inside like beach bags and the like these tents are pretty stable.
So as a sunshade beach tent this is fine with plenty of room once up, for me the negative is putting it up and taking it down especially if there is a breeze blowing.

I ordered this tent to put in the garden to go alongside the padding pool, these tents are handy to store towels, clothes and drinks, and you can even change in them. It is made of polyester and has an anti UV coating with a mesh piece at the back to let some air in. There is a hanging hook and storage bags and it comes in a handy bag which you can even carry over your shoulder.

Of course we have had rain almost every day so the pool has rarely been used but my four cats love sheltering in this tent! It is also a place to sit in when it is sunny to cool down in, and is slightly bigger than previous ones I’ve owned.

I put this up myself and I did struggle, there are two fibreglass poles which are segregated, this is supposed to make assembling it easier but they kept separating and because the tent material is so light the wind kept blowing it away. There are black plastic pieces with holes in at the bottom, one for the end of the pole and one for the metal ground stake, but I wish the end of the pole could be clicked into place as it would make life far easier. One of the poles actually snapped slightly but fortunately it hasn’t stopped the tent staying up.

Am sure with two people the tent is much easier to set up and it is worth the effort. There are sandbags at each side to secure it, but the stakes have been fine so far for keeping it in place. I would have liked a zipped front piece to keep the rain out of it but overall despite the problems I had setting it up I think this is a decent tent and I do love the fact it fits into the bag and can be taken anywhere, so would recommend. Small instruction sheet included.

A sheet of instructions are provided but anyone familiar with erecting tents with hoop fibreglass rods will have no difficulties setting up this beach tent. With only two segmented poles and two sleeves for each pole there is not much that can go wrong. Note that the “apron” at the front does not zip up, which is a pity. For privacy when getting changed it is quite nice to have this feature. The tent pegs are very basic and not very long so firm sand is probably needed to make a secure footing. The six pegs are arranged one in each corner of the tent and two extra to hold down the apron.
One side of the fabric is a silver colour — a protective coating against UV presumably. There is a bag sewn into the groundsheet seam on either side which can be loaded with sand for windy weather.
The tent packs up into a size that fits the carry bag quite easily which is good.
It’s not a bad beach tent for the price, I think I’d prefer one with a front flap that zips up. It’s very basic and does the job of providing shade. Although it’s quite roomy I think “four persons” is stretching it a bit, although a family with two young children would probably work OK. When packed quite compact and easy to keep in car for beach trips or picnics perhaps.

If theres no wind very easy to assemble. Just a case of feeding the two support arms through the sleeves on top of the tent and slotting into the 4 plastic feet.
The same feet have a hole for the tent/anchor pegs to slot in.
If its windy it’s much more difficult as the wind swirls the lightweight tent around and it’s better if there are two to help assemblies this case .
Once assembled there are side pockets to fill with sand to weigh it down. It has a mesh wall on the back panel.
It easily packs into its zipped carry bag which measures just 16″long by 5″ deep so takes up little room and is light to carry.
As it’s open fronted and being pedantic I would have liked some front flaps for privacy but I guess that would increase the price.

Great value for a little beach tent that is ideal for keeping you, your kids or your beer cool in the sun. It is very easy to fold up and put away and once up is easy to fasten down to keep it in place in a breeze. We set it up in the garden for us to try and it is large enough for me to have a little doze in, but more suitable for small children to sleep in or cool down from the sun. We will certainly use it at the park for picnics for these reasons but also to provide shade for food and drink to help keep it cool and away from at least some insects. Recommended
