Firstly, this arrived well packaged and has a very modern and aesthetic design which goes perfect in my living room. The air purifier itself is quite light which makes it very easy to move around rooms. It is very simple to use, all you have to do is use the buttons on the top or use the air purifiers app which is very convenient. When open it is quiet, especially on night mode which is practically silent. When set on a fastest mode it produces fresh air very quickly which I usually use after vacuuming a room. All in all a high quality air purifier which is looks very modern.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThe one issue I have with this product/company is that to use the app you are required to allow the company to sell your data among other similar requirements. I passed on the app and the unit works fine without it. This unit does its job very well so I do recommend it.

This is a great unit for doing what it is meant to. Great for homes with pets. Sturdy build quaintly with a good weight feel to it and good finish too.
It’s a good show so you’ll need the space for it. But as an air purifier of this strength the size is about right.
    Would recommend

Can’t complain with this one so far! Very easy to use and seems to be doing the job. There’s a variety of settings on the top which are easy to switch between and it’s pretty quiet when running.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice bit of kit!

When this arrived fhe box looked huge so I was somewhat concerned about where it would go.
It’s actually not as big as you’d think and is such a simple design that it doesn’t look oitnof place in any room in my home.
Si please build , Lightweight but good quality but the weight makes it easy to move from room to room where need.
Not silent but one of the quietest ones I’ve tried which was great .
Easy to use app and set up was quick and simple.
Not cheap but value for money

A nice looking and quiet air purifier

Is is quite large so I recommend checking the sizes first… and checking that you have a suitable place to put it. On the bright side, it looks nice so can be left in a location on show but is light so can be moved and put away if needed. I find it easy to use – It can be operated by the buttons on top of the device or on your phone by downloading the app. I have left 1 star off the review as there is little information about replacement filters. I have no idea which one is needed or how much they are. Currently 239

From the first use, I sensed a remarkable difference in air quality within my home. Being a pet owner with an asthmatic child, this device came into our lives without a moment too soon. Despite various plants and dehumidifiers around, lingering pet odour and a stifling atmosphere were inescapable. Cue this purifier, and the air felt noticeably lighter, cleaner and easier to breathe in.
Connecting it to the app on my phone was less tedious than anticipated. No technical wizardry required, just straightforward setup. Monitoring air quality became an unexpected hobby, revealing fluctuations throughout the day. Asthma triggers such as pollen levels and dust particles have clearly diminished, judging by the decrease in my child’s need for his inhaler.
The noise level? Think less along the lines of a library and more of an empty room. Essentially, it’s silent enough not to disturb even the lightest sleeper.
A device that might seem like an unnecessary extravagance soon proves to be indispensable. The increase in air quality, evident from both the app readings and our own sensory experiences, marks this as a noteworthy acquisition.

We live in a bungalow and have suffered the expense and inconvenience of leaking bathroom pipes, and damage caused by damp; the bathroom floor was dug up, the shower stall completely removed, the pipes replaced, then new flooring, tiles etc had to be bought & refitted, and then we weren’t allowed to use the new shower stall for a month while everything dried out thoroughly. So yes, we understand the importance of a good quality dehumidifier – and have owned several models by top brands over the years.

The first thing I noticed is that, in comparison to the other models we’ve had over the years, this is the quietest dehumidifier that we’ve owned; I’m not going to lie and say it’s noiseless, but the humming is less noticeable. I still leave it in the bathroom, kitchen, or living room when we go to bed, as we prefer the highest setting and although quiet, the hum does annoy my sensitive hearing – this is probably due to me just having gotten a hearing aid fitted though.

Other then that I have had no issues; this is easy to set up, simple to operate and maintenance is easy. It is lightweight and compact enough that transporting it room to room is very easy.

Very effective high tech air purifier. This machine is quite heavy, but very compact. Really powerful air purifier that does a great job of cleaning the air in my bedroom overnight. This has definitely made the warm weather more comfortable as I can leave my windows open at night.

240 at time of review Blueair Blue Max 3350i Smart WiFi Air Purifier

This is quite big, so you need to plan where it’s going to sit in your room, as it takes up quite a bit of space. Design wise it looks very smart, like a supersized Alexa Speaker, it’s very lightweight, basically a baseplate, that the filter sits in, with a washable material cover, with a top panel that contains the fan and control, talking of which it’s very simple to use, you can download an app and control it via that, but it’s just as easy to use the buttons on the top. NB: I’ve not been able to work out which replacement filter I need and what they cost

    Hope my review was helpful

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI ordered this for my son’s bedroom. I should point out that my son is at university but decided to live at home -yay. As such, he currently resides in one of our downstairs rooms where he hides away, eats, sleeps, etc in there – even though he keeps it reasonably clean, it’s unpleasant, especially when he opens the door to share the air quality with the rest of the house 🙁

This fabulous air purifier has dramatically improved life for the entire household by keeping the air quality in my son’s room, well, really nice actually. I can walk in there without passing out! The whole room smells fresh – trust me, before it smelt anything other than that!
I’m severely allergic to dust and it’s helped greatly with that (because my son isn’t fond of dusting) and my son who suffers with hay fever has really appreciated having an allergy free space.

The air purifier itself is quite lightweight and can easily be moved around the house. I have a Philips which weighs a small tonne in our living room, but this one is compact in comparison.

The controls are very simple – on top of the unit there’s an auto mode, sleep mode and three fan levels. I would advise downloading the Blueair app however for a better user experience. The unit can be controlled via the app, plus it gives air readings, brightness settings, fan speeds and shows the current life of the filter.
The app is very easy to install – we currently have it on 3 different devices. It requires Bluetooth connection for the initial pairing, but afterwards it works via WiFi.

Is it noisy? Well on the highest setting it blows like a desk fan would because its working more. On the lower settings and sleep mode it’s really quiet. My son keeps it on through the night when he’s suffering with hay fever and you can barely hear it.

Unlike my other air purifier, the internal filter can’t be cleaned but instead needs replacing around every 6-9 months. I’m not sure what the cost of this will be as of yet – hopefully not too costly.
The outer pre filter can be vacuumed or washed if it’s very dusty – this is the coloured cover surrounding the unit. This can also be changed if preferred and Blueair have a range of colours if you feel like changing things up a bit.

Overall we’re really happy with this air purifier – it’s small but mighty and does an excellent job of filtering out all manner of pollutants from the air.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works a treat - lightweight and easy to use

The Blueair Max air filter surprised me coming out of the box. Firstly, it looks like a Danish loudspeaker; with its combination grey fabric and glossy white plastic and second it isn’t a hepa filter. For filtration that grey fabric is a washable pre filter; and inside is a thin hepa filter; most of the inside volume is air. There isn’t an ionizer or UV filter in the filter, so you won’t be adding any ozone into your air.

To help you understand its effectiveness; or power an auto speed mode, there is a built in PM2.5 monitor. This has a readout in the app; and over time you get a history of how the air in your home or office is being impacted.

Unfortunately, Blue wants your details to use the app; the data protection requirements are nice and clear. The filter connects to a 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi and you can control it from outside the home. The app store data report is very concise with blue only collecting some user identifiers and “diagnostic” data. If you do use the app, you gain a mode that lets you automatically turn it off when you leave the home (which is the opposite of what I do with other filters which is crank them up.) It also includes a schedule feature that lets you crank up or down the fan speed at times of the day; it also lets you adjust the brightness of the LEDs so you can have a dark mode at night in your bedroom.

Sadly, the filter isn’t HomeKit, or matter enabled as it would have been nice to get the PM2.5 readings on my home; dashboard. There aren’t any widgets (on the iPhone app at least.)

This fits with the quiet running ethos — and this is VERY quiet for a hepa filter; my apple watch db. meter rated it at 18dB on the lowest setting going to 45dB on the highest speed. The noise it makes pulses a little which may help you sleep if you put it in your bedroom; in the living room I found it a little annoying.

Having grown up in the country and used to cleaner air; since moving into a city I have used air filters at home for several years. The PM2.5 meter read 2 when I turned it on. The reading is nice and stable even when only using the blueair filter. The blue website suggests with typical home use the hepa filter should last you up to 9 months. I can’t find a replacement price as this is a new device; but their other filters are in line with their competitors’ prices.

The Max is about 50cm tall; it tapers from the base to the top. The base is about 30 cm across: the top around 25cm. The washable prefilter runs about 40cm of the height. The prefilter is easy to remove and put back on. The filter survived a run on the synthetics cycle in my washing machine and fit back on afterwards.

I think it is an excellent filter; the Scandinavian design works nicely with my all-wooden floors (and hopefully will help keep them free of the dust they love to attract.) The machine washable dust filter is an excellent idea. If the filter makes it to 9 months, it is a very cheap filter to run. The super quiet running makes it great for a bedroom as does the controllable LED brightness if you like a dark room.

Love this air purifier! I used a hair products in another room with the doors open and heard the air purifier start working more a few moments laterthat’s amazing! Love that it connects to my phone too

Bought this to help the air quality during fire season. Seems to be doing its job. It monitors air quality inside my house and outside. This model tracks the filter usage and lets you know when to change it. I find that I cough and sneeze less since I purchaced. I plan on buying one as a gift for a family member.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersI was having terrible stuffy noses at night! Fine during the day but for what ever reason I almost always had runny or full on clogged nose (not every night) but so often that I finally broke down and spent $300 to buy an air purifier. I have not regretted it for a second. I would buy it a again if need be in a heart beat. I sleep SO MUCH better now and I rarely if ever wake up with a stuffy or runny nose now. (I tried meds, they helped but did not nearly help as much as the air purifier has. )
It’s been about 1 and 1/2 months since I have bee. Using it (might actually be 2 months now, idk)
I have it running at setting level 2 every night. I hear the fan but it’s a comfortable low sound easy to sleep to. On setting 1 which is the lowest, it is super quite. Even standing next to it I can hardly hear it.
I have it 3 feet away from my bed on a table and on setting 2 I get very soft breeze from it, I absolutely love. (I don’t think k most people will few a breeze from it).
In shot alli can say is it was genuinely worked for me and made my sleeps much better! 100% recommended.

All I can say is it has worked!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI did a lot of research before investing in one of these. The smoke from the wildfires finally pushed me to purchase one and i noticed a difference in myself and my kids instantly. It’s fun to see the readings go from red on same days back down to blue within 30 minutes. Because of how quiet it is and how efficiently it runs, I often forget we have it. I have told everyone I know about this brand and type of air purifier so they can experience the same kind of relief that we have from it.

Blueair is amazing. Delivered just couple of days before smoke from the wild fires from Canada polluted the air in NYC. My home has excellent air quality, and is almost dust free.
It is extremely quite at night and keeps me comfortable for a good night sleep
I cannot wait to buy another unit for my living room.
