Warm tips

  1. Please make sure that the laminator machine is warmed up before use.
  2. The thickness of the contents plus the laminate packaging should be less than 0.5 mm, otherwise there is a risk of clamping or retention.
  3. Lead the sealed end of the bag through the entrance of the laminator and not through the open end. Otherwise, there is a risk of disturbance.
  4. Turn off the laminator in time when you are finished. Don’t leave it on while it’s not laminating.
  5. Foreign objects may enter the body during transport, it is recommended to use A4 white paper for cleaning before use.

  • Cleaning steps:

Turn the main power switch to “ON” and when the the indicator lights up “green”, fold a white paper in half and pass it through the ‘insert slot’ about 10 times.

*Do not use paper that has been copied once, as the toner may melt due to heat and cause a malfunction.

    Easy to use
A great addition to my office setup! The laminator is compact, lightweight, and easy to use. Heats up and is ready to go pretty quickly.

The one minor downside is that there is no power button, so you can’t turn it off without unplugging from the socket (but it’s not worth losing a star in my opinion).

Overall, great product and great value for money!

    Worth the money
Bought as I work in a school and needed to laminate some stuff in prep of back to work. The laminator works really well but only has one temp and no on/off switch (but I suppose it’s personal preference). Worth the money!

    Does what it's meant to
Very pleased with this laminator. Excellent value for money. If you have lots to laminate in one go it may not be the speediest, but for my small business needs it is excellent.

Very Good Quality Laminator And At £21.99 A True Bargain.
Very good A3 laminator. Comes with various sized pouches but not actual A4 size. How could they manage to undersize A4? Comes with a very good rotary cutter so very handy at cutting out circular vignettes but the only downside is the really poor paper trimmer. But all round a solid 5 stars and well worth 21.99.

Easy and efficient for home use
Good quality materials and construction. Follow instructions for material sizes. I’ve tried several different envelopes from other manufacturers and had no problems. However, I really don’t use a laminator much, so my experience is with light home use, but very pleased.

When using A4 pouch for business cards (or smaller sized for multiple items) – make sure you have some party balloons. I think the drift that will happen when placing cards is due to static.. Blow a balloon up, rub it, touch/charge the pouch with your static and drifting SHOULD stop.. NOT tried but I’m good.. If it works then I want a mention. Basic physics and war.. Get rid of the opposing force.. lol.

    Not bad but not grea
Ok so. Fast warm up and it did its job. Down side. The laminates that come with it are OK but even with other ones I bought it seemed to have a tendency to catch somewhere inside during the process and about 90% of the ones I did came out with a crease or bend in at least 1 corner. That being said it did its job and for its price was ok

I used this laminator to make pockets and dashboards for my planner. First use, it took longer than stated to warm up but quicker with subsequent use. I’ve only used thick 120m pockets and they work well. A couple came unstuck but that was because I trimmed too close to the seal. There were a couple of bubbles in my first use but I’ve had no problems since. I’m pleased with it, it’s not something I use all the time but for occasional crafting projects this is fine for me. I’ve also laminated photos and smaller images printed on photocopy paper which have worked well. Rest a heavy book on the sheet after lamination while still warm for a good end result. Cheaper than some but works very well.

This compact arrived promptly. It was well packed with Easy to follow instructions. It included 5 pouches, although 1 was creased, which meant to could try it out before buying a pack of pouches. We have stored it in the box it arrived in as we have little space in our office to leave it out. The only minor complaint was that the website to take advantage of an extended 6 months ‘free’ warranty did not work. There was a telephone number in the USA so we didn’t bother! No doubt if it needed returning the cost of postage would make it cheaper to buy a new one!

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersThis machine is excellent for foiling!
I bought this laminator in June this year specifically for foiling as my old laminator wasn’t cutting it and I didn’t want to spend out on a Minc machine unless I had to. Have to say it was a great punt!

Today I am doing the happy dance because I have temporarily mislaid my one laminating pouch and so I tried a very intricate laser print inside a folded piece of 80gsm A4 copy paper as I was in a rush to test my greeting for my landscape cards. It worked a dream!

I’d been doing my greetings for my portrait cards using the pouch and they were all perfect. But using printer paper as the carrier with those tiny snowflake designs, I really didn’t hold up much hope at all but was overjoyed at the result!

    INFO FOR UK FOILERS:
I am using the SamsungExpress M2026 to print on lovely smooth 160gsm colour copy paper.
After using the print then cut feature on my Cricut Maker I cut the iCraft Deco foil to fit the piece and this time ran it through this lovely little laminator tucked inside a folded sheet of 80gsm copy paper.

My biggest advice to foilers is to DUST!
I dusted the carrier sheet and then dusted the print and the reverse of the foil with an E-cloth.
I had this wonderful laminator on its higher setting of 125Mic and 5 mins after the green light came on I fed my project through and there is not a spec of uncovered black print to be seen!
(The E and star at the right top are just reflections)

The money I saved went to buying the Maker on a deal to replace my original Explore 🙂
    I am VERY happy.
    Thank you Bonsaii.

It worked. However in this case do not follow the instructions. Hot and Dangerous. The red (power) light came on as it was supposed to. I waited for the red light to go off and the green light to come on, and I waited, I checked again that I had followed all the instructions and I waited. 20 minuets later, red light dimmed occasionally but did not go out; the green light never came on. Close examination of the lights as the red light occasionally flickered and came back on – I noticed the green light (dim) – if it was not a reflection from the brilliant red light (still on) after 30 minutes viewed from above could be described as on? With the laminator starting to crackle (with heat?) a final sentence stating – ‘will reheat in 3 minutes’. So I tried it any way. It worked. Do not follow the instructions!
