Blinding blende
Amazing bit of kit. So much so this is my second one. Does exactly what it needs to and quickly too. Easy to use and easy to maintain. Would definitely recommend
First class
Excellent. We use it every day and it never lets us down – it even coped with one of us taking the wrong bit off once which swamped the base with liquidised cat food. Once cleaned up it continues to work perfectly
Easy convenient & stylish
We had one of these blenders years ago and it lasted for years. When my husband broke it I thought I’d try a different brand. 3 other branded blenders we’ve gone through in the last 9 months and I just thought why didn’t I just get what I know is reliable and easy to clean. Works like a charm. And this colour way is perfection a white a gold one next please. Love love love

Good for the price
A great little blender/Smoothie maker for a reasonable price, the blender is slightly louder than previous ones that I have had but it does the job nicely and it also comes with an extra beaker to which is very handy. You can also choose the colour that you would like, I have gone for the blue which is really nice.

For this to make morning smoothies and I was not disappointed. The only thing I would say is do not over fill it. Works quickly and was easy to use. The bottle is nice a large and the end product is smooth. Have so far make smoothies and milkshake.
Simple
I’m pleased with this blender, it was very easy to set up and use. It’s easy to clean if you have a dishwasher but I think it’d be quite difficult to clean the blades without accidents if washing by hand.
I’ve used it for two different purposes so far. First was to blend my son’s food – it worked well but I did have to open it up and move the food down so the blade to get it all – it was a fairly thick mix though.
The second was for a milkshake, so much thiner and it did a great job with this.
It is quite noisy but I expected that.
Overall I’m very happy with it.
So, I picked up this Breville Blend Active thingamajig because, let’s face it, my culinary skills peak at pushing a button. This little wizard whips up smoothies like it’s its sole purpose in life (spoiler: it is). If it can be smooshed into a smoothie, this blender’s on it like a cap on a marker.
Now, the twin bottles are the real MVPs here. They let me live my sloth life because I don’t need to wash one to use the other. The bottle plastic feels like it could survive a dissertation defense — solid stuff.
But then there’s the lid saga. One of them decided to play tough-cookie and snapped when I was screwing it on like I was diffusing a bomb — gently does it, right? Had to MacGyver it back together, but now it’s got that “handled by a toddler” look. Still, it’s hanging in there.
Honestly, for the price, it’s a steal. As a master’s student in the UK, where the cost of living has me reenacting historical famines, this blender saves me from the horrors of actually cooking. So, cheers to this blendy boi for keeping me nourished with minimal effort and wallet damage. Just… be nice to the lids, folks. They’re delicate little flowers.
Good product.
If things take too much preparation I tend to loose interest. I have been using this daily for about two months.. it is easy to use and blends well. I do find that if I am using frozen fruit liquid does have to cover it for it to blend otherwise it gets stuck, but I just add a bit more if needed. I haven’t tried it with ice.

Very good blender just got it couple of days ago and been using it since. But then one of the days when I’ve used it, I’ve noticed a burning smell from the blender is it normal to be smelling like that?

I’m a bit miffed that I can’t use the beakers from my old Blend Active as Breville have changed the screw thread. I only bought the new one because the blades got lost on my old one.
Great produc
Bought to encourage the whole family to have more fruit/veg. Although it was discovered it also makes fantastic icecream milkshakes! I was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews but we’ve had no issues so far. I hand wash the blade cap to prevent the plastic connectors becoming brittle and I only push the button down for 5-10 seconds at a time to prevent any motor burn out. I love that there’s less to wash up than a normal smoothie maker, so much easier to blend and go!
Love the blender, bottles broke within 2 months
I love the blender, it’s strong, easy to use and does everything a blender should. The bottles are great but sadly out of the 4 I received 3 of the lids have broke already – which now means they spill/leak and mot worth using.

As picture actually shows, it is Black & Gold not rose gold (which tends to be more pinkish).. I was looking for Black & Gold to match my kettle, so it is absolutely perfect. Just keep that in mind, if you’re after Rose gold, that it is gold!
WHAT I LIKE:
– It is a powerful little machine, preforms as good as my old one, even with ice. I like that it’s a pulse button, not 1 speed button, therefore its really good for chopping as well.
– And it is also really small and compact, unlike my old blender, so it takes less space on the kitchen counter.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE:
– As others mentioned, this company really needs to work on better bottle design, it doesn’t bother me as much as I have other bottles I can use, but it’s not the most sturdy design and it will eventually crack, whereas my old blender’s bottle didn’t have the closing clasps and there was nothing to break (and I had the blender for 5 years). So that’s an only minus.
I now just use mine without the lid because the hinge broke. Luckily I didn’t really take my shakes anywhere anyway but if you do I would probably get a spare bottle because the lids are very flimsy.
The blender itself is great for the price. It’s not really powerful but if you give it enough time and pulses it will blend. I did try it with ice and the noise was horrid and it sounded like it struggled so not sure I’d reccomend for that.

I used for a month and smoothy cups got very loose, was hard to blend a shake without it getting very loose. Not worth it
Doesn’t blend too good eithe
I purchased this as a gift for my mum who really likes my Ninja blender. She had never physically used my blender but liked the smoothies I had made her with it.
Because of the arthritis in her hands she struggles to twist things and lift off lids if too firm.
The ninja blender is quite stiff and on the bulky side so I wanted to find her something a little easier to use.
She only needs the smoothie’s for herself so this one was an ideal size.
I helped her to set it up and it was very easy to use. I was surprised how lightweight it was and easy to screw on compared to my Ninja.
There are much less features on this one in comparison to my blender however for what she needed it for it was perfectly fine.
I was impressed that it crushes frozen fruit and ice very quickly.
She did have a bit of a mishap when making her 1st smoothie. When twisting to remove the smoothie bottle from the blender, she kept on twisting repeatedly which unskrewed the lid completely. Then the smoothie went all over the kitchen.
She learned from that mistake and everything has been good ever since.
If I ever needed a replacement blender I would definitely purchase this one. It is affordable but powerful.
It comes with x2 nice sports bottle to drink straight out of when you blends your drinks.
Quick blitzing
Bought as a replacement for an older model. This one is quieter, has more power and uses less space. A little annoying is that the old bottles lids are not the same thread. All good apart from that.

Great quality and can be used to mix ice with fruits
I purchased this blender for the purpose of mixing frozen fruits and creating smoothies. It’s a powerful blender that saves a lot of time. Occasionally, it can be a bit challenging to blend fruits thoroughly, so you need to exercise patience until all the fruits sink down to the bottom and then blend again. Alternatively, you can turn it off and on and give it a shake to expedite the process. Additionally, cleaning may not be effortless as you’ll require a long brush to clean the bottom. Nevertheless, overall, it’s an excellent choice for blending solid fruits with ice cubes.

I got this for my son who is 16yrs old, he wanted to start been healthy, few months on and he’s still using it and nearly a stone lighter, he loves it, iv started to use it now brilliant little blender…
Works ok, not great for harder fruits
This works ok on soft fruits and veg. When the fruits are a bit firmer then you get lumps (unless you blend for a good while). But overall works ok for what I need

Easy to use and clean. Does not take up much room, I don’t eat fruit raw but in a smoothie with kefir milk I am addicted to blueberry smoothies, which I’m reliably informed, by the wife, are good for me.
The smoothie maker unit is okay. It does get through frozen fruit and ice. It doesn’t handle hot/warm things and states this in the operating manual, so don’t buy for soup making.
The bottle attaches to a blending unit which you then put into the motor hub and then when done you can replace the blending unit with the bottle top. It makes it really quick and easy to use with not a lot of tidy up.
The downside is that the bottle top isn’t that sturdy. I’ve broken mine already, by trying to secure it. The hinge is actually just a small bit of plastic and the way the lid is designed, it takes a lot of pressure when you are doing the bottle up. There’s probably replacements but a little frustrating design wise. They could have easily put a metal pin in for strength.
Other than that, I don’t regret buying it. Ita made healthier eating easier for me.
Loving my smoothies
Trying to eat more healthy so bought this to make some smoothies which I am loving. Easy to use and keep clean, make a smoothie put lid on and your ready to go. and a bonus for me the bottle fits in the bottle holder on my E-bike so I can have a smoothie on the go.

I love this smoothie maker. So easy to use. I have used it to make smoothies and juices. Its a perfect size for either one or two people. Its a good size for the counter top or to store in a cupboard as its not too big. I would highly recommend it.
Great for smoothies
My kids make morning smoothies in this and it’s great, compact, tackles even frozen fruit and love the fact the bottles and blade go in the dishwasher.

Blender is Solid, the Bottles Caps are weak
The Blender itself and the actual base of the bottles they give are good, and do the job, the value is nice.
However the Cap of the Bottle where it clicks and covers it from spilling broke for me after 4 weeks of use, I didn’t even notice when it happened, but the thing that holds the cover seems to break really easily and it’s a common theme it seems from other reviews and google searches.
Blender is great, the cap of the bottles could be improved upon.
Had an older model which had been used daily but finally the motor bunt out. Although still a brilliant little machine disappointed with the design changes. The lids to the containers are made with a brittle plastic and the catch broke the first time i used it. Unfortunately the lids to the old containers have a different screw thread and cannot be used on the new containers. Neither can the old containers be used on the machine for the same reason (why change a perfectly acceptable design just for the sake of it ?). I now have to either decant my drink into the old cotainer or use the (glued) broken lid with an elastic band to hold it in place see photo. Were it not for the above I would have given it 5 stars. I don’t know why, but the pink one I bought was a few pounds cheaper than other colours available- maybe if you have it permanently on display you want it to blend with your colour scheme.
Easy to use and pretty sturdy. Enables consumption of raw beetroot and walnuts because they’re mushed in with things that aren’t disgusting like watermelon, yogurt, etc. Use it every day.
Works fine not heavy duty but then I went for the cheapest I could find as I only blend fruit however I do blend frozen fruit and it copes fine with small frozen blueberries.
A good product which meets all the needs of a blender. It is small, compact, light weight and takes up little space in the cupboard. I have been using the blender now for five weeks and I am extremely happy with it.
It is surprisingly easy to use, even a child can figure it out. No extra or unnecessary attachments included.
Blends perfectly, including small pieces of frozen fruits / vegetables straight from the freezer when suspended in liquid.
My only complaint is that the tab for the drinks container needs to be stronger as it broke after a couple of weeks. This however doesn’t have any impact on the product, except for the fact that the lid is not secured tight when in use.
Really great value for money. I’d already bought one for myself and purchase this for my daughter. The power is sufficient for most smoothies, but if you’re making frozen smoothies and using ice, it can struggle a bit and takes time but if you use plenty of liquid or soft fruit, it works like a treat.

For me and my grandson, it provided a day of fun and enjoyment. Ultimately, he chose to make banana and pineapple with yoghurt, and I chose tropical fruit. On our walk and picnic, we shared with each other, and he was very proud of his achievement.
I bought this for breakfast smoothies and to avoid having to lug my big jug blender out every day. It’s been great, and has been a hit with my children too.
It’s compact: I can keep the base unit out without cluttering my counters. The bottles fit easily in cupboards.
It’s easy & simple to use – screw cap shut, click into place press one button, unclick from unit, unscrew cap, screw on lid.
For those with strength/mobility issues: it’s not at all difficult to twist/click the bottle into the base unit and the button only requires a gentle pressure. The most resistance is in screwing/unscrewing the various caps, as they have a rubber seal, but it’s very little resistance, the same as your average juice screw cap I’d say.
That said, it is still a pulse blender, so you have to keep the button pushed in for as long as you want it to blend. It really doesn’t need long at all, though; the instructions say not to run it continuously for longer than 30 seconds to prevent overheating but I’ve never yet approached that length of time. I have been using this every morning for 2 weeks now (and my kids every other day or so on top of that) and I’ve never yet needed to press it for longer than 10 seconds. My smoothies are banana, frozen berries (including chunky strawberries), powder and liquid, so maybe if you’re crushing ice you might need to, but it really is remarkably quick and efficient.
The spout is nice and wide and easy to drink from.
It’s powerful – frozen berries get chopped up with ease (something my old-but-expensive jug blender couldn’t manage). I’ve not tried it with ice yet.
It’s easy to clean (see video) – a drop of washing up liquid and some hot water, cap on, blitz for a few seconds and rinse! If there’s stuff stuck to the sides then a quick scrub with a bottle brush is all you need. I’d definitely recommend a bottle brush as the bottles are long and narrow and might be tricky with a normal washing up brush.
I know many reviews have mentioned the cap getting in the way when drinking, but I’ve not found this to be the case. The cap is free to move but you can push it a little further and it stays open and out of the way.
The catch on the lid cap could be an issue – it’s solid moulded plastic clicking onto a solid triangular ‘lip’ on the lid, which means you have to lift a loop of plastic up to disengage the catch. This means it could potentially bend and snap over repeated usage, but I’ve personally not felt it was weak or at risk of breaking. That said, I’m conscious of not being too rough with it.
I’m not sure how long the rubber loop will last – I can imagine if you’re regularly carrying a full bottle from the strap it won’t last forever, but I carry mine by the body.
All in all, this is an excellent, powerful little blender at a great price.
