Very pleasantly surprised with these brackets. We thought the previous set were perfect, until two of them snapped, literally one day after another so these were bought as a replacement and I have to say, they feel like they’ll last for years which is a good complaint in these times of throwaway products.

One thing to be mindful of is the rounded inner corners, my swing posts are 90mm a side and these are sold as 90mm square but the rounded bends mean tbat they’re impossible to simply slide over the posts.

Personally I was able to get around that and avoid planing or chiseling, by taking out the bolts and gently bending them outwards, opening the gap enough to slip them over the top and the refitting of the bolts later pulled the brackets perfectly closed and looking great.

Final thoughts on these; the inclusion of bolt head screws to fix these in place and the plastic caps that were also supplied, made for a nice surprise and really finished the look off.

Would definitely recommend and would buy again. The only area for improvement I see is the nylon bushings which most likely will be a failing pint long before the metal itself fails.
