This is great for travelling/ camping or sleepovers. It is super lightweight to carry and comes with a built in foot pump to inflate easily. really comfortable to sleep on and keeps you from laying on the floor. Built in pillow, but you may need an extra pillow if you prefer the head to be higher.

    In a nutshell:

    Things I liked:

+ It is good as a lightweight, smaller alternative to a traditional mat.
+ It is fairly quick to inflate.
    + It doesn’t go down for a few hours…

    Things I didn’t like:

    – …but it hasn’t yet lasted a full night without losing significant air.
    – Inflation is quick when you get going, but it’s not straightforward!

    Do I recommend it?

Yes, if you understand that it’s not an airbed. It’s good for carrying with you if you’re out camping, carrying all your equipment with you. It’s one step up from a typical thin foam camping mat.

Os I’ve been using this on some kayaking trips, where I need a good nights sleep, for context, it’s doubly important I get a good restful, comfortable sleep, because I have a spine injury that causes me constant pain, so somewhere “Comfortable” to sleep, is necessary.
The first thing I’d say, is that this doesn’t always inflate as easily as it should, the system it has does work, but at times I find it fiddly to use.
Now importantly for me, this is a nice “Lightweight” option, and it is easy to carry/pack, it goes down into a small, light package, which I really like.
Now whilst the “Inflation sponge”, at least thats what I call the “Foot pump”, has 2 valves that need to be in a certain way to make the “Inflation sponge” work, but alternatively, it’s also easy enough to use a pump to inflate it too. Ive inflated this both ways, and either 1 gets a decent amount of air in, but using a pump definitely makes it firmer.
The material feels very strong, durable, and feels to me like it will last well.
The comfort this gives me is good, the included “Head Cushion” works well, it means I never loose my pillow during the night, which is definitely a bonus, and the pillow is nice and comfortable.
All in all, this has become part of my constant kit, and will be on every trip with me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Slightly confusing inflation wise

I was skeptical when I ordered this product, but it’s exactly as advertised and surprisingly comfortable. The foot pump is easy to use and in just a few minutes the mattress is fully inflated and ready to use. The storage bag makes it easy to roll up the mattress when not in use and store it.

Basic camping mat. Good for only one or two nights; quite thin, not the comfiest of sleeping mats I’ve used. Better if you’re… slimmer, if you catch my drift. Easy to inflate and compact to pack. It’s inexpensive and you get what you pay for; fine for a short weekend away.

This is a portable inflatable mattress with a clever and convenient device built in to make it easier to inflate. This saves you either having to source or carry a separate foot-pump or have to blow the whole thing up via your mouth – a challenge for even the fittest lungs!
The mattress has two stoppered vent holes. One is for letting air out and the other is for letting air in – and this one is in the middle of the built-in pump. This is a rectangle filled with what feels like foam rubber.
As you depress the foam rubber with your foot, the air inside it is pushed out into the airbed itself, inflating it a little. When you lift your foot, there must be internal valves to prevent that air from being sucked back into the pump chamber, so instead it sucks more air in from outside. Though to facilitate this, you need to lift your foot up far enough to clear the in-vent to enable air to flow freely in. It takes a few goes to work out the best action, partly because when you stamp in it, there is a tendency for your fit to close the stopper in the vent. But once you’ve got it, it works really well. We had it inflated in a few minutes.
When fully inflated, the mattress is fairly plump and comfortable to lie on. Rather than a full cushion structure, this has sort of honeycomb structure with cells of air with thin longing pieces. I didn’t find this as comfortable to lie on as a full cushion version. I like that it has a raised pillow-shaped piece at the top for your head.
To deflate it again is pretty simple, you just open both vents and fold and curl it up to squeeze the air out again. It comes with a drawstring carrying bag, though getting it rolled up quite as tightly as when it just arrived is a bit of a challenge.
This is a handy thing to keep around in case someone needs to crash on your floor and, if you are camping, your have a quickly available, comfy mattress without needing to carry a pump with you or use up your lung-power!

This camping bed is so easy to blow up, it has a built in foot pump. It took me less than 5 minutes

I would say its more for children as its really thin.

It comes with a stoarge bag.

This little luxury became my faithful sidekick on a series of outdoor excursions. Despite nature’s unpredictable mood swings, its durability held up, and the cushioning offered a welcome barrier between myself and the harsh, often frigid ground. The unexpected comfort of the added pillow provided a touch of home in the middle of the wilderness. The built-in pump proved to be a no-hassle bonus, inflating and deflating at an impressive speed. While I felt the weight, it was a trade-off I was willing to make for the luxury it afforded in the open air.

This is a budget camping mat with small added bonus of a camping light , it’s quite a thin mat , especially for Me as I’m 18 Stone , it’s quite thin compared to other mats I’ve tried at this price range.

I think it may be a good option for children doing their Duke of Edinburgh, as its a nice bundle with the light and a budget price, my son used it for his and was absolutely fine with this mat and light.

It has a built In pillow and foot pump but can still be blown up using a small electrical pump if you like.

It’s quite wide and long , it’s not the thickest mat but it’s wide and got a good surface area to lie on.

It’s really compact when in it’s bag , it’s easy to get into its carry pouch after using it and packing it away , it’s lightweight because its not the thickest.

I think it’s OK for children which Is what we are using it for but not larger adults, it’s a bit on the thin side but it is easy to pump up , put away , it’s lightweight and compact.

This ultralight sleeping mat has served its purpose adequately. While it may not be as thick or wide as my other sleeping pad, considering its affordable price of 26, I find it to be a decent option.

The built-in foot pump is a convenient feature. It allows for inflation without the need for an external pump, which can be handy when camping or travelling. However, it’s worth noting that it takes around 10 minutes to fully inflate using the foot pump. If you’re in a hurry or prefer a quicker inflation process, using a different pump might be a better option.

In terms of comfort, the sleeping mat provides a reasonable level of support for a restful night’s sleep. Although it may not offer the same plushness as thicker pads, it still offers adequate cushioning for a comfortable camping experience.

The lightweight design of the mat is a definite advantage. It makes it easy to carry and pack, which is particularly beneficial for backpacking or other outdoor activities where weight and space are considerations.

Durability-wise, the mat has held up reasonably well. It has shown no signs of leakage or significant wear, which is reassuring. However, as with any inflatable product, care should be taken to avoid sharp objects or rough surfaces that could potentially damage it.

Overall, the ultralight sleeping mat provides a satisfactory sleeping solution for camping trips and outdoor adventures. While it may not offer the same level of thickness and width as other options on the market, its affordable price and convenient foot pump make it a worthwhile choice.

On the plus side, this is quite easy to deflate and roll up back into its storage bag, which is a distinct plus when camping. Construction is durable and the head cushion is sturdy and well-inflated. The rest of the mattress is more like a matrix of air pockets, and provides a bare minimum of insulation from the ground. It’s OK, but not overly comfortable. But the worst thing is the pump, which feels like a small shoe box. The valve is opened by a flap which continually wants to close back over the valve, and did so quite quickly. The solution was to turn the mattress over, but then you are sticking the valve in the dirt, and the resilient strength of the pump is not great, so that it takes a second or so for it to return to a level to pump again. The solution to this is to let it return only part way, but it still takes several minutes to inflate. It’s good that the pump is integral, but one can’t help but think it could have been designed better.

This self-inflating mattress is surprisingly comfortable – I took one look at it when I had it inflated, and thought ‘yep, that’ll squash down to the ground instantly!’ However, it really didn’t – I could feel that my whole body was lifted off the ground and supported by it. It’s more comfortable than my full size mattress (the blue one that most people have or have had, before upgrading!), and I find that the pillow is just at the right height for me. I am 5ft 4, but my husband, who is 6ft, has also had a lie on it, and he found it very comfortable too.

I suppose it wouldn’t keep you as warm as thicker mattresses, but if you were using this on top of a camp bed it would be really good. I did find that the built-in pump was less effective than I’d hoped though – it took me ages to get it to blow up and it would have been just seconds with a pump!

The little light that came with it was a nice extra that I wasn’t expecting – it would’ve been even better if it had been USB rechargeable rather than battery though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, better if inflated with a pump though!

First the positives, it’s quite compact and light and even came with a little lantern type light. Once inflated it’s reasonable comfortable for it size and quick to deflate and roll back up.
The main thing I didn’t find so good was the inflation with the in build pump as it very slowly and took 5-10 mins to inflate. This is also a bit awkward as the valve is in the middle of the pump area so you end up standing on it and the pump is basically a foam block for the return so it’s slow.
If you have a separate pump it’s much easier and I tried it with a small rechargeable pump and it inflated in seconds.
So it works ok but better with a pump.

4.0 out of 5 stars Slow to inflate

This camping mat comes in a small pouch and doesn’t weigh a great deal.

It’s easy to pump up thanks to the built in floor pump, it took less than a minute to inflate.

The pillow is a good height for me and i found it very comfortable to lie on.
I wouldnt want to place this directly on rocky or stubble ground as I fear its not as puncture resistant as some, but for regular camping it will be great.
I doubt the insulation from any cold ground would be great either.

The light isn’t particularly bright but it’s great for a small 2 man tent, and a very welcome surprise when I opened up the mat.

The mat deflated rapidly once I opened the valve and was very simple to roll back up and fit into the pouch.
In fact the pouch could be smaller still as once the deflated mat is inserted there is some spare space.

I think the price is very fair for what you get.

I hope you find my review helpful.

With Glastonbury on the horizon this has come just in time.

It inflates in about 20 seconds as it has a built in foot pump and it is super thick and the honeycomb design is actually pretty comfortable.

It has a great built in pillow and it’s a good size.
The mat is waterproof and very lightweight so if we can typical Glastonbury weather I should at least stay dry.
Its easy to carry and folds down to nothing so it’s simple to store.

When it’s time to go it deflates equally quickly so it takes the hassle out of packing up.

    I would definitely recommend it.
It’s great quality, works perfectly and in my opinion it’s good value for money. It comes with a handy light and a carry bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hassle free, well made and quick to inflate and deflate.

Quite like this. It packs down pretty small, and was quick to inflate with the built in “stomp” inflater. 50(ish) treads on the inflater, and it was good to go. Surprised how comfortable it was. It also deflated quickly, and easily went back into the bag. It’s hard to be sure from initial review how durable it will, I will update my review if I have issues, after our upcoming Beautiful Days festival this summer.

My only real criticism are the instructions. They are woefully inadequate, and written in Chinglish dialect by someone familiar with the product. Upon opening for the first time, the inflate bung is the one in the centre and you just open the upper part of the 2 part valve, the deflate is the one at the edge. For the deflate, the valve has 2 caps, you need to remove the bottom valve bung, not just the top cap bung.
