    Good Alternative to Noctua
This fan is a good alternative to Noctua. Usually, I prefer the sound profile of Noctua – dead quiet, but this fan has been great, too. Hopefully, it lasts, only time will tell!

The material feel of this fan was excellent as well. It feels solid and premium, just like Noctua, at over $10 cheaper. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

Good slim rgb fans, really bad oscillation at high rpm though
I recently installed these Corsair AF120 RGB Slim fans in my small-form-factor PC and I have mixed feelings about them. On the plus side, the fans are impressively slim and fit perfectly in tight spaces. The RGB lighting adds a nice aesthetic to my setup, and installation was a breeze. The material feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence that these fans will last a long time.

However, there’s a significant downside. When the fans ramp up to high RPMs, they induce oscillations and resonance in the chassis. Although they’re fine at low speeds, the oscillations and sound at high speeds might be a deal-breaker for some, especially if you’re aiming for a small form-factor build.

I use my PC primarily for gaming and occasional video editing, so it’s crucial to have components that not only perform well but also operate quietly. These fans deliver on the performance aspect but fall short on acoustics at higher speeds.

Would I recommend them? Yes, but with reservations. If you don’t plan to push your fans to high RPMs often, these could be a great fit for your system. Otherwise, you might want to consider other options.

*BEWARE: ONLY THE DUAL PACK COMES WITH AN RGB CONTROLLER
*Only the dual pack comes with an RGB controller (iCue Lighting Node Core, to be specific). Without a Corsair RGB controller, there is no way to control the RGB because the fans don’t use a typical ARGB pin connector. The fans use Locking Dupont connectors, which are not industry standard. The RGB connector included with the dual pack only accepts Locking Dupont connectors, so you will have to find an adapter on Amazon if you want to plug in non-Corsair fans into the controller

Anyway, this is probably one of the best fans if you are looking for high airflow, ARGB, and need thinner fans to fit in a tight ITX build. The only downside is that it’s expensive, but if you need a fan that has all of those things I just mentioned you can’t go wrong with this.

I don’t mind having to use the Corsair RGB controller to control the fans’ RGB, because the controller works really well with SignalRGB and I find that my ASRock motherboard’s ARGB tends to be buggy anyway.

Great little fans. But be careful of positioning.
Got these to fit under my SFFs graphics card. PC doesn’t sound any louder than before.
Because they’re set up as intake fans the “back” is facing up which reveals all the little LED that usually would be hidden behind the fans.
They are extremely bright to look at. But luckily with their rgb software you can turn off/on/customize individual lights. So I was able to turn off those that were literally blinding me. See pics for what I mean.

    Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo

    Fantastic little fa
Very impressed with the low profile design. Seems to push out the same amount of air as a full depth fan. Good quality materials and came with all the screws needed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFan is very quiet for what it is, compared to the noctua a12x15 it's only slightly louder but it also spins faster. Uses a standard 4 pin connection with a rather long fan cable. Only gripe I have is the gray anti vibration pads but that's just because I like all white components.

This fan is perfect for tight spaces . A nice surprise in my purchase is that Corsair included radiator mounting screws as well as traditional fan screws. These fans are quiet too

These fans must run on some kind of voodoo. That’s the only logical explanation. How else could 15mm fans do what these do?

In all seriousness, these fans really impressed me. I always looked at slim fans as something to be avoided at all costs, until I found myself trying to install a top-mounted radiator in a system with exactly the wrong combination of case, motherboard, and RAM sticks to make using 25mm fans impossible. Rather than scrap the water cooling plan entirely, I bit the bullet and bought three of these. And I’m glad I did.

To start with the obvious question: Are these as good as 25mm fans? No. As good as they are, they’re still limited by geometry, and can’t match a top-of-the-line 25mm fan. But they come closer than any 15mm fan has any right to, and if you could use a top-of-the-line 25mm fan, you wouldn’t be looking at these in the first place.

They’re all but silent at low and medium speeds, and quieter than most at full blast. And while I have no way of measuring airflow or static pressure, I can say that I’ve definitely had more than a few “pressure-optimized” 25mm fans that moved less air through a radiator than these do.

So if you’ve found yourself in need of a slim fan that can actually keep up with its chunkier siblings, I would recommend these without hesitation.

    I am now a fa
I like the pair of these fans I purchased, my first Corsair fans in fact since I usually tend to buy Noctua.
Two reasons pushed me towards this fan, firstly the slim profile as my custom case is a small Lazer3D LZ7 and can only realistically fit 15mm fans and the second reason is because my build is predominately white.

These are louder than the Noctua exhaust and Vortex intake fans I was using previously and they don’t seem to work properly with ASUS AI Suite 3, so I have had to run them through a Corsair Controller which came with the Capellix AIO I also recently purchased to swap out a ASUS Ryujin.

I am happy with these now they are running through Corsair’s software and everything is controlled in one application. I would recommend them to everyone, but especially if you have a small case like mine.
The only thing I can think of as being a negative is the lack of arrows on the fan showing airflow direction and blade rotation for anyone new to computing, but simple enough to figure out by taking one look at the fan and blades if you are a seasoned pro.
