    Comfy camping mattress
I am writing this review after using this mattress for a few days whilst camping in the Lake District. It was a fantastic mattress and so glad i purchased it. It’s a nice size and i would say weighs just under 2kgs. It was fairly easy to blow up, just a couple of minutes puffing it up and it was there. It remained comfy each night and i only had to blow it up again occasionally. It’s a bit fiddly folding it up and putting it back in it’s pack, but i got there eventually. For the price i would say a really good mattress and worth getting. It just does enough to keep you off the ground, hence comfy and a bit warmer than the cold hard earth !

    Great for camping
I think the idea for this product is amazing and for the price its a deal, and the when I have used it, it was amazing and easy to set up, it was very comfortable and to put it back in the pouch was very easy. I will be using this product a look more when I go camping

    Does the job very well
This is our third bed after one of our first two developed a leak I couldn’t find. Our original bed was a Klymit V insulated which also developed an irreparable leak (yes, we are hedgehogs). The cost of that bed made us nervous about purchasing another expensive option (or the same one).

We decided to go for two of these as we learned that it would be more comfortable than sleeping so closely together. We bought these due to the price, built-in pillow and size. We originally had the two beds for about 5 years before one developed the issue. Irrespective of this timeframe, when I contacted the seller for advice on repair, they reviewed the details and then offered me 50% off an already keenly priced replacement.

As for the beds- they’re not insulated so you WILL be exposed to the cold of the ground but it isn’t worse than any other uninsulated bed type.

They’re decently quick to inflate, don’t take up too much square footage but are big enough, and the built-in pillow is great.

    Highly recommended.

    Comfortable and easy to inflate
I bought this to take to a festival and found it very comfortable to sleep on. It inflated easily with just a few breaths and then remained inflated the full 4 nights I needed it.

I was also impressed with how compact and light it was, and bonus points for the bag it comes in big enough for you to pack it back in again, even if you can’t roll it back up quite as small as it arrived. Would recommend.

    well made
This is well made and easy to inflate. It remained inflated for 3 nights so its a robust product. Its a bit narrow, and sleeping on it is an acquired skill. But it works and it is lightweight.

    Great product for the money
Bought to take on a motorbike tour. Packs down to a great size, yet a large sleeping bag and warm. Would not recommend for cold weather but for summer camping perfect.

This is the 4th deeplee mat, 1 has been great, 1 lost some air and 1 was damaged, this one I haven’t tried yet but delivered very quickly, the 1 that stays up was very comfortable and the best camping mat I have ever used just hopeful this new 1 is as good and holds the ai

Pillow isn't amazing, but sturdy and reliable.
Lightweight enough and rolls up to about a 750ml bottle in reality. Comfy enough, quick to blow up, pillow isn’t great but better when only about 85% inflated. Fine with the addition of a rolled up hoodie. No issues, just ensure vents are properly closed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood quality
Bought it for DofE. I do not expect that it is so compact, lightweight and easy to carry. The material is thick enough and durable. Do not expect it to be comfortable as it is plastic and for camping, but definitely it is much better to just sleep on uneven ground. The provided pump is not effective and I simply blow it up by my month and it is much quicker.

    Does the job
Easy to pack. Lightweight. Quick to inflate. Held my weight (145Lbs) for the night (around 4/5 hours of sleep). Will need to inflate every now and then if left too long.

    Was good while it lasted
was impressed out the box, the need for pump means its not suited for hiking but the comfort level was high. the issue was it only lasted 2 uses before losing air and needing to be refilled nightly

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersComfy, but heavier than billed!
Surprisingly good. It requires a lot of puff to inflate but once inflated it was comfortable. Very easy to deflate and roll back into the bag. Nice and compact but not 500g! (See pic)

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Userslightweight, easy and they work for a purpose.
They pack small and lightweight, they inflate easy but a couple of minor problems: you slip over them a bit in a sleeping bag so expect to slide about a little bit. If you’re a side sleeper they’ll take a little getting used to as they’re thinner than larger mattresses but good for the price and size etc. The seal feels like it’ll be the weak point and trying to pack them back into the pouch they come with takes a little practice but for what they are they’re good if you need a lightweight matress thats easy to blow up. I paired min with a thin foam mattress to insulate more and give a little bit more padding but still can’t say it was the best night sleep i’ve ever had but they worked.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersA great budget pad
I used to use a closed-cell pad, then bought a self-inflating pad which seemed luxurious by comparison. Unfortunately, it was bulky and fairly heavy. A friend had one of these and I was impressed so I bought one too. It’s even better than I expected, comfortable, warm (no R rating is specified but it’s much better than my self-inflator) and half the weight. It folds/rolls down to a compact size too. I tend to use my sleeping bag as a quilt so I sleep directly on the mat surface and there was no annoying rubbery feeling or squeaky noises when I moved and it didn’t feel cold on my skin.
The only niggle is its stuff-sack only just fits so you really need to get all the air out when rolling it up. After using it 4 or 5 times now I seem to be getting the knack and it packed away easily this last time. The pillow is a nice-to-have but you can just tuck it underneath(uninflated) if you prefer to use your own. Inflating the mat takes quite a few big breaths but there is a one-way valve to ensure none of that air gets back out again. I did buy a cheap micro air-pump which helps but you still need to finish it off by mouth if you like a firm mattress.
Overall this has been a great pad which I’ve now used on a variety of surfaces from flat grass to rocky heather, tussocky bog and pine-cone laden forest floor. The mat has smoothed it all ensuring a good nights sleep.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOffers no insulation but it's durable and comfortable for the price
I’ve had this mat for about 2 years now and it’s still going strong! Have used it when going wild camping in the peak district. It’s very durable and comfortable for the price and it’s also very light but it offers no insulation whatsoever, you will be cold if you aren’t using this in the warmer months! You can solve this by using another mat underneath such as a foil mat off Amazon for about 10 to reflect some of your heat. I upgraded to a sea to summit insulated mat and that’s about the same comfort but offers more insulation.

    Excellent ma
I wanted something more comfortable than a yoga mat for meditation classes. I’ve had an operation so lying on the floor is more difficult than it used to be! I found this mat very portable and light. It was easy to throw into a tote bag. Very easy to inflate. Took about 4 minutes to fully inflate with the inbuilt pump using my foot. Make sure you inflate it fully! Once I was lying on this it was comfortable and I didn’t need to keep changing position as I do on a thin yoga mat. I was also slightly more raised off the floor. The mat was really east to deflate and pack away. Make sure you undo the correct valve when you inflate and deflate! Unfortunately the instructions aren’t very clear but if I can work it out then anyone can!

I read the reviews after I purchased this....
I bought this based on the stars but read the reviews more closely after I purchased it and was nervous it would pop on me or give me trouble. It didn’t! It was great! I have used it for 2 different camping trips and it’s still great! I’d say it’s not as good as an air mattress so but for the price it was good enough. In the end, I did put it on another inflatable mat I already had to double the cushion, and that was great. I slept great and although I was afraid it would deflate after the other reviews, it never did. To set it up and store it away is fast and easy! I think this product is worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBetter than spending twice as much!
Really really happy with the quality of this sleeping mat. Decided to take a punt on an Amazon purchase over an outdoor retailer after a YouTuber gave a glowing review of his, and I’m glad I did the same since what you get for the money is perfect.

About the size of a 1L water bottle, and weighs just over half as much. Packs and unpacks easily. Blows up in about 7-8 breaths, then a couple more for the pillow depending on how hard you like it. I popped a t-shirt over the pillow just to rid the plastic feel with my head on it – but at least I didn’t have to pack a separate pillow!

Comfy nights sleep, didn’t touch the ground even when sitting in the centre of it. Really nice and long, and didn’t find it slipped around too much.

Recommended to some friends and they all had great experiences too!

    Brilliant for 1/2 nights
    Great little product for camping.
    Comfyness 7/10
Easy to inflate/deflate 10/10 does it in seconds
However, after 2 nights my pressure points really started to hurt. Could only lie on my back, my hips really hurt. I dont have any medical conditions and I am physically very fit. So something to think about. Maybe because I’m female or caught a draft.

But overall, great peice of kit. Brilliant for 1/2 nights. And fab price. Incredibly lightweight and easy to inflate/deflate.

It is a good mattress for its price
The mattress is not bad. However, it takes some tome to inflate it and to be honest, you’ll have to pump a bit of more air a couple of more times over night. At the beginning, i was really excited about it and I thought it is very comfortable. However, in the morning, i realised that had backaches and it was so annoying that i had to pump more air over night to keep it at a certain level of comfort. Even though, it is not bad for what I paid and it is very easy to cary and handy.

    Looks good
I’ll only give my first impression, as I have not yet tested it in the field. Clarified this I can say that it is a bit thin, I have had inflatable mattresses before, but it’s light and has a built-in pillow which is quite smart and comfortable really. And you can compare the size in your bag and open, my height is 1.78 and have an idea of what it’s like.

    Overall satisfied produc
Purchased this for my daughter when she joins me on hiking trips. The product is light weight and compresses down well. The built in pump is defiantly handy rather than blowing it up but it can be an annoyance sometimes to constantly compress down on the ball to inflate. Some of the higher end matts have other options like an air sack which would be as effective in my opinion. I have found that after a number of uses it has stared to loose air slowly over night. Not completely deflated but enough to notice a difference in the morning. It doesn’t have much of a R value so always double up with an additional reflective layer. The airpockets on the Matt are comfortable and the pillow is a nice feature. Overall it’s a decent Matt for the price but don’t expect it to last too long.

Surprisingly comfortable for a 16 stone six foot side sleeper.
I’m getting into camping/hiking, and wanted a sleep pad that wasn’t too expensive, so chose this one. I’m 6ft tall and 16 stone, so was worried it wouldn’t support me at all. I’m also a side sleeper. I found this really comy, all things considered. It inflates easily, and keeps me off the ground. I woke once with a slight hip pain, but this is too be expected, it was very mild. The pillow is good, was a little low for me (I sleep with 2 pillows normally). Excellent value for money.

    Really Comfortable
This camping mat is really comfortable.

It came very lightweight in the bag and when I first opened it I thought it wasn’t going to work but once inflated it really does work!

It’s also the longest one I have ever had so it’s suitable for tall people and I love the fact that it has a pillow. I was super confortable on this when I went wild camping last week!

    The only issues are:

1). It is a bit of an effort to blow up. The pump isn’t that deep so you have to do it many many times – I broke out into a sweat haha. The other thing is that although the pillow is a godsend, the pump is on the pillow so I rolled on it a coupld of times and it was uncomfortable.

Despite these things though, this is a great mat, is comfortable, is really lightweight and easy to pack away and really good value for money!

Golden Review Award: 932 From Our UsersGreat ma
I bought this because it was Amazon’s Choice mainly and because it is similar to the Cloudbase mat I was going to buy from a different retailer at twice this price. I have sent the other one back because they are virtually the same in every way but much better value. I’m 5ft 10″ and it’s a good fit for me with a little room still left at the bottom of the bed. There is a pillow attached to the top so there’s no need on taking an extra one which makes my pack lighter. The air is evenly distributed throughout the mat and it is very comfortable to sit on as well as lie on, especially when my sleeping bag is laid on top and my foil mat underneath. I do a lot of wild camping so this is great to carry around with it only being half a kilo in weight. It has a small pack down size too so it doesn’t take much room in your rucksack. If it lasts the tests of time I’ll definitely buy another for my camping partners. Highly recommend. Hopefully the review has helped you a little, can you please show some love with a helpful vote if it has?

Golden Review Award: 96 From Our UsersMy body thanked me for this purchase.
Must admit I was sceptical when ordering. Proven wrong. Blissfully, soundly wrong. Wish I had one of these during service.

Lightweight, small, easily to inflate/deflate. DURABLE NON FLIMSY CONSTRUCTION.

Spent my youth (and a large portion of my health) in the infantry so I appreciate a little.comfort now I’m in my 40’s. Inflate until firm (5 mins tops) I used mine inside a tent. Although durable I probably wouldn’t recommend just using it rough on the forest floor. However I saw and felt no need to use a roll mat under it within a tent.

Blissfully THICK and supportive. I’m a side sleeper.
No hip or lower back or shoulder pain. WARM. At no point did I feel in contact with the ground.

Weight is very evenly spread over the mat. No sagging. Leaking of any sort.

My only personal “meh” is the lack of old school olive colouring its quite bright. Also no exactly strict sound discipline if you are in a tactical situation as with anything you need to inflate.

That said better than a roll mat, smaller, more comfy and definitely worth taking if your in harbour areas/hides for extended periods.

My body thanked me for this purchase.
