Great so fa
I know a lot of people complained about it’s salty taste, but these are much better than other over sweetened electrolytes I’ve bought. I use two sachets in a 600ml bottle and taste decent.
Amazing
These are fantastic. The first ones I’ve found that don’t contain artificial sweetener. I’ve used them twice this week and they really help. I’m on heavy duty pain killers that cause me to overheat and loose vital salts. These have made me feel bette
does it's job
sodium content per packet is excellent, 500mg is a decent number. it initially mostly tastes like salt water and then has an aftertaste of the flavour it’s supposed to be which, on it’s own, isn’t amazing, but I usually mix different electrolyte powders together to get the most sodium per serving i can for my money it works really nicely alongside other powders
What it says on the ti
They do what they should and taste great. We have a shortage of electrolyte replacement drinks here in Jersey so very happy to have these. They are in individual sachets so just add to a glass of water, simples. Would recommend
Great produc
Very good product that hydrates you extremely well. Recommended to use in the summer but not only, whenever you feel thirsty you should try those. Work really well, also good after alcohol and next day. Recommended.
I thought I’d try these after a night out and I felt much better than I would have if I hadn’t taken this. The taste is pleasant, the mix dissolves easily and there’s no strange aftertaste. Would definitely keep these on hand especially around the holidays.
Energy yes, the flavour not so much
I have these in the afternoon to increase my energy and replace my coffee. They are working well and helping to bring my energy levels back up. The electrolytes are definitely working.
I am happy with what they are doing, but not so impressed with the taste.
The three flavours are made from natural ingredients and are healthy, but they have a rather mild taste. In my opinion, the best flavour is orange; it has the strongest taste, but it is still mild. The mixed berries and the strawberry variety are barely noticeable.
It is a shame that the taste is not very strong. But I suppose this powder is used to make a healthy drink and a way for me to restore my energy levels without having to consume the super sweet and sugar-rich “commercial flavour” you get in so many unhealthy canned drinks.
I would still rather drink this drink when feeling tired than a strong coffee, as it is a lot healthier for me.
I will focus on the fact that it works well, that it is a small drink that can be drunk quickly, and that it will keep me away from more unhealthy alternatives.
Hydrate yourself, but not much taste
As a hydration drink these have all the right stuff in them. All the vitamin and nutrients etc are what you need after a prolonged burst of exercise.
They are easy to mix and don’t turn your water into a lumpy thick goo like others I have tried.
There isn’t much taste to them, but then again you aren’t really drinking these for the taste. It’s not a “bad” taste at all, just not much of anything really.
Good value pack too compared to other similar products on the market.
Hydration but not so tasty
utritrust hydration powder came boxed up nicely with 16 packets. It dissolves well into cold water but upon trying them, they didn’t taste very nice and I personally couldn’t continue trying to drink them. I’m used to drinking water, coffee, tea, squash, and juice but this I really couldn’t drink as there wasn’t much enticing flavour and the flavour that is there, isn’t great.
Really tasty, easy to use!
I accidentally mistook these for gels when I initially ordered them so was a bit worried these would taste gritty when I tried them as this had been the case when I’ve used powder versions before. However they dissolve well in the water and are pleasant to drink so I was happily surprised. The flavours are quite muted so if you typically drink squash and things like that at high strength these might taste weak to you but I personally enjoy them.
They have good vitamins and nutrients in and are not too high in sugar. Being vegan and naturally flavoured is a bonus for me. They made me feel better after trying these. I tend to get headaches and migraines if I’m not fully hydrated so these are very handy if I’m having a day when I’m a little dehydrated and also come in useful for when I’m doing lots of exercise.
Overall I think these are great and the three different flavour varieties are nice so you can change it up a bit. 16 sticks for 11.99 is a good price as these will only be used irregularly as and when I need a boost.
Dissolve easily - flavour is very subtle.
I’m a big fan of using hydration drinks. I’m a postman so I’m always on the move and have found the benefits of replacing lost fluids with electrolyte drinks. I makes me feel like I recover quickly ready for the next day and I get much less headaches.
In terms of effectiveness, these seem to work just as well as any I’ve used before.
I like the sachets they come in, it’s very convenient as they are easy to take out. I can actually just leave one in my pocket.
These dissolve much faster than my usual effervescent tablets. I’d say about 3 or 4 times quicker.
As for the flavours, they are extremely subtle. Now depending on your preference this could be looked on as a positive or a negative thing.
I personally, don’t enjoy the taste of most electrolyte drinks. They are overly sweet and I water them down way more than recommended because of this. I drink electrolyte drinks in spite of their taste – not because they taste good.
So for me, these work out great. A very subtle taste, but the bit that’s there is not unpleasant at all.
If your preference is a strong sugary taste, these might not be for you.
Fantastic for hydration but lacking in taste
My husband, who’s a keen runner and cyclist, regularly uses hydration sachets – they help him rehydrate after long periods of exercise. He was interested in giving these a try especially as they claim to offer better hydration, extra vitamins and natural flavours.
The box contains 16 sachets featuring mixed berry, strawberry and orange flavours. They dissolve easily without lumps and don’t go gloopy – my husband was keen to point out that many sachets he’s tried before tend to go rather thick in the water, so it’s nice to have one that doesn’t.
The flavour isn’t that great. It’s more of a gentle hint of flavour – it’s a little bit like when you over dilute juice….a lot. The hubby admitted that he’d tasted better. I tried it and wasn’t keen at all. I realise the taste is probably due to the natural flavours, which I know is a good thing, but I wish they had just a tad more flavour.
For hydration purposes, they’re really great. My husband has tried them a few times so far with no complaints. He highly rates them on this, so much so that the taste doesn’t really bother him because the other benefits they provide outweigh the taste. I guess that if you’ve completed a 15 mile run, you’re probably not fussy on the flavour of your water.
Price wise ( at 11.99 at the time of ordering), they’re very good. It’s not uncommon to pay 1 plus per sachet on this type of item, so they’re good value.
Overall, they’re great for hydration purposes and fantastic for use after periods of exercise. The taste is a bit of a let down, but if you can see past that, then the benefits are excellent.
Salty but good!
These are much different to the usual electrolytes I get, and you can really taste how ‘natural’ they are. They mix really easily and the water isn’t coloured or unnatural looking, like others – more like a cloudy white drink. The flavours are really nice, but subtle and there’s an overwhelming salty taste. Not totally unpleasant, but much more natural than I was expecting. I could definitely have these regularly, now I know what to expect (think fruity sea water) – especially as the ingredients are so good…no sweeteners or Sucralose! yay!
Smells natural
I do think it smells natural instead of artificial fragrance. Taste nothing too strong. I do think it is good for gym. Definitely not for runner since they may need extra energy intake. However I do think there is so many other options in this price range. Especially cheaper with similar ingredients with natural flavouring as well.
Works a treat, not much flavou
I got these sachets as I go on long walks and can sometimes get a bit dehydrated and headachy afterwards.
I’ve never tried hydration powders before, so I don’t have much to compare them to. In terms of improving your hydration, they are great. The electrolytes really do help and the glucose and give you the perk needed after a workout.
They are all natural too, which is a plus, so no nasty additives. You simply stir a sachet into a glass of water and drink. There are 3 flavours; mixed berry, strawberry and orange. I have to say as they are naturally sourced flavours, you can’t really taste them much. So the drink tastes a bit chalky with added salt. I just drink quickly to get it all down.
However they are a good product and work well, I recommend.
I'm terrible at not keeping myself hydrated
And I’ve only had about maybe 3/4s of a litre of liquids today so when I was sweaty and got home from being out, I measured out 250ml (A little too much.. you’re supposed to do 200-220ml) and dumped a sachet in. It smelt lovely! Tastes like a typical hydration drink though.. Not like it smells. Not even in the slightest. BUT, this is a good thing. Means you’re more than likely getting the stuff you need in your body, not like other drinks that are marketed by influencers and internet famous people.. a recent drink that was trending by some YT people.. if you know, you know. If it tastes good, probably not doing it’s job!
Anyway, back to this drink. I feel much better and more hydrated than I was. Regardless of the lack of taste, well lack of nice taste. So it does it’s job! Although my diet could also be at fault for not being able to taste the actual taste.
Definitely does something, not as much as I was thinking but I also haven’t been heavily working out today and sweating enough to possibly see those other benefits.
Will update as a few days go by and I do more physical exercise to see how they fair better.
