This product was purchased when I had injured my right big toe doing some DIY in my garden resulting in a badly swollen foot at the joint of the big toe. The pain was indescribable. Prior to this, I would spend hours at my desk typing and proofreading and ending up with muscle and joint pain. I purchased this product after reading several reviews on and off Amazon site and then decided to go for it. Two weeks into using it, I can confidently say I did the right thing. It is comfortable and has significantly reduced the pain (both in my foot and body. Above all, the expert advice (10 tips to improve your health through better ergonomics – a simple guide to feeling better at work) that was e-mailed to me by the manufacturer is incredible. I will recommend this accessory to any worker who sits for long periods.

I and my daughter work on computers a lot for our business.. neck pain ouch !!
These foot support cushions are a god send.
Since using them for a short time they have helped so much. Neck and back pain definitely reduced. Highly recommend..
Even use one in the home whilst watching TV.
I find I sit more upright and hence neck pain reduced. Thanks so much

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGlad I found this product, and did not buy the plastic version. As I WFH, I can use it without socks and it’s very comfortable. Best for home office use, NOT in a corporate office (as it might go missing 🙂

In my advanced age (of the early 30s), I have gradually noticed my days of dreadful posture have caught up with me and my weak, frail flesh suit. I was initially hesitant to invest 35 pounds into what is effectively a souped-up foot pillow, but I am glad I did. Now, my feet feel like they are pleasantly melting, and the softness of the footrest takes pressure off of my back, so I can actually sit at my computer for extended periods of time without feeling compelled to continually curse myself for neglecting personal comfort for so many years. The shape of the footrest means that you don’t have to continually shift it about to be in a comfortable position, and the removable lower layer makes for easy adjustment.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe foam is firm enough not to squash down excessively with feet on it, but soft enough to provide comfortable and effective cushioning.

The width is good, although it would be even better if it was a few centimetres wider.

The depth of the base should be sufficient to accommodate up to size 12 feet without toes overhanging.

The velcro attachable/removable base provides usable options for height adjustment. I have found both height options useful in different positions and/or chairs. It is easy to attach and remove, and is secure when attached.

The mesh material of the covers is good quality, and feels durable. It doesn’t attract ‘bits’ and is easy to keep clean. The covers have good quality, smooth, free-running zips, and are easy to remove and put back on.

The grips on the base work well to stop the foot rest sliding around. When used as a rocker, the mesh material itself provides sufficient grip on carpet. As a rocker, it works very well, and has actually helped to alleviate plantar fasciitis.

It also works great as a knee rest.

Overall, very pleased, even though I thought it was a little expensive at the 35.67 I paid. I would not have paid the full RRP (currently 47.67), and would only recommend it when on sale.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI’ll be honest, I didn’t spend a huge amount of time researching this footrest before I bought it. I’ve been revamping my PC space since December, with a new desk, new chair, newly-built PC, a new monitor, new keyboard and mouse… and after spending an eye-watering amount of money on all of that, why agonise over a thing to put your feet on? I just wanted my feet to stop dangling! I could’ve used a box!

So it was pot luck that I ended up with the ErgoFoam adjustable foot rest, really. I just picked the first one that vaguely looked like it would do the job, and ordered it.

    And I lucked out!

The ErgoFoam immediately surprised me with its quality. While you’re holding it in your hands, the cushioning feels firm – you have to put a considerable degree of effort into appreciably squashing it. When it’s under your feet, though, it’s like resting them on a cloud. You simply don’t notice that it’s there. It squashes beneath your weight just enough so as to feel comfortable, while retaining enough rigidity to support you properly. It’s a balancing act that I don’t fully understand how they’ve pulled off.

The outer cover is a plush, soft velvety fabric, which feels amazing, socks on or off. It’s the kind of fabric that you could rub your face on. It’s a bit of a dust magnet – after only a few hours it was ‘spotty’ – but it’s easy to brush off, easier to vacuum off, and the cover can be unzipped if necessary.

I have the adjustable version. It comes with the standard curved footrest (which doubles as a rocker if you flip it upside down), and has a rectangular extra piece that can be velcro’d on to the bottom of the main piece to raise its height. It works really well. When I’m doing a bit of gaming, I attach the ‘riser’ and stretch my legs out. When I’m typing up a report, I take it off again and support my feet more squarely. It’s supremely comfortable in both configurations.

The bottom of both pieces has a rubberised, textured ‘grip’, so it should work just as well on hardwood as it does carpet.

All in all, I’m pleasantly surprised by the thing. I bought it just as something to put my feet on (well… obviously), but now I can’t imagine being at a computer without one.

I bought this foot rest along with an ergonomic chair for my wife for her to work from home. While I was assembling the chair I placed the footrest for her to use along with the normal dining table chair she was currently using. She said this footrest made her so comfortable that she did not see the need of the 119 pound ergonomic chair I was assembling. This foot rest is really amazing.

Like so many people, I have been working from home for 18 months and have found that my legs can ache after long hours at my desk. The Ergofoam Adjustable Foot Rest Under Desk for Added Height is so comfortable I wish I’d bought one before. When I’m working on reports I have it flat but when I’m in meetings I turn in over and have the benefit of exercise from the rocking motion it gives. Very good value for money.

Good quality product, very comfortable to use.
Adjustablity is good to have, even if it has only one piece that velcros on and off as required.
Love the feeling when using bare foot or with socks.
I would agree with a previous reviewer that it is slightly too narrow for me, but this is really a small problem and it is something I have got used to.
    Would reccomend.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe item is good quality however, I found that one on its own was too narrow and to get both feet on at once I was sat with my knees together which is not a natural position for me.
When sat with my legs at a comfortable position, my lower legs were angled inwards to get both feet on the foot rest which meant my ankles rolled over and became painful after a while.

So, I bought a second one by clicking ‘buy again’ to use alongside my first, but when the second arrived it wasn’t covered in the same velvet material which was one of the factors considered for the original purchase.
To be fair the advert does say ‘mesh material’ and I didn’t read at the time, but by clicking buy again it is assumed you will get the same product you originally order.
My legs and feet now adopt a natural and comfortable position but one foot is on velvet and one foot is on mesh, not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things but a tad annoying for someone with a little OCD.

The foot rest has revolutionised my comfort level while sitting down many hours for work in Zoom meetings during the pandemic. I could beat myself for not having bought one long time ago.

It removes the slightly uncomfortable edge of seat on the thighs pressure and my feet rest nicely in the memory foam.

Only slight negative is the price vs competitors. I have not tested any of the others, so I cannot rate the price vs comfort level. But I am super happy so far!

I bought this foot rest due to working from home & being small my feet don’t reach the floor comfortably when sitting all day using my laptop at my dinning table.
It is very comfortable, firm but not hard. Having the detachable part means you can adjust it to suit your needs.
I only use the top part at the dinning table but use all of it when sitting on my settee or chair to eat food on a tray.
Very pleased with it & no longer have to use a box that kept moving around.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent footrest, I bought the 15cm extendable one. I’m 5.9 ft but using a high desk, so I needed something to keep my thighs high as well as I was feeling quite some pressure on them.
It’s very comfortable to the feet as well. I’m using it barefoot or wearing socks at home for the long home-office hours. I’m not sure I’d use it wearing shoes (at the office) as I could imagine rubbish under the shoes could easily stick to the fabric material the product is made of, but that’s just my personal opinion.

    I can easily recommend it!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersLike many, I had to start working from home in March and was in a lot of pain working at our home desk that my partner didn’t use anymore. At first I thought it was just the chair that was causing me pain, but whilst it improved my situation, my legs were simply too short to touch the floor sitting at quite a tall desk for someone at 5ft4! That’s why i bought the adjustable ergofoam as I wanted a footstool, but wanted it to be comfortable on my feet and not just plastic and i really liked the option to flip it over and rock my feet as I can get quite restless at my desk so it helps me fidget in a healthy way!

I waited a long time for this to come back in stock and had it over a month now and it is one of the best of my purchases of the pandemic, particular as I’ll be working from home for at least another year.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThe footrest is firm but soft to the feet. I have only had this for about a week but have used it every day. I cannot imagine that it would collapse through use as I rest my feet on it, not stand on it. It is wide enough that I can have my feet close together or hip width apart as I choose. It appears well made. The non-slide material on the bottom means that it stays in the place I put it but it is very light and to move it I just put one foot at either side, use a tiny amount of grip and move it. Having this in place means I can raise my chair so my eyes are at the correct level for the terminal but my feet are supported so no back ache. Absolutely perfect.I am only sorry I did not buy one of these years ago.

I’m short (just over 5ft) and therefore a footrest is essential. I waited for ages for the adjustable foot rest to become available. I have since purchased it and I’m so pleased I did. I have a plastic foot rest at work which I hardly use as it is uncomfortable. This one is really comfortable for my feet to rest on. It enables me to rest my feet as if on the floor. It feels like very solid foam and the velvet cover is very soft.
    It was worth the wait!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have been meaning to buy a footrest for a while, and I was originally looking at a solid, plastic adjustable one. Thought I’d give this one a go as the foam and velvet texture seemed comfy.

It is amazingly comfy, I have the footrest paired with a Herman Miller Embody but honestly the footrest has put the icing on the cake.

The foam is medium density. Dense enough that your feet don’t disappear into the foam, but very, very….cushiony??

The Anti-slip bottom worried me a little, as my floor is a high gloss laminate. But no issues whatsoever, especially when you have the weight of your feet on it. I can move my chair closer or further away just by pushing or pulling the footrest with my feet. It does not move!

Also works really well as a rocker when turned upside down.

Price seems a little bit high, but having said that it feels like it will last a very long time and comfort and posture are important.
