They work well in our Hotpoint dishwashe
The Amazon price is very cheap compared to when we buy this product in our local Morrison’s or the Food Warehouse shop in Paignton, Devon.
This is our first time we’ve purchased these tablets from Amazon so, I’ll review them better when we have used them for a few weeks.
Have been using these exact tablets for years and they’ve never failed me. I feel they are the best price for how many you get as well. They clean everything in my dishwasher perfectly. Never had an issue with them. And they smell nice!
These do a solid job on everyday loads and the 110 tab box is great value compared to buying smaller packs. Most of the time everything comes out clean and shiny with no need for a pre rinse. The fresh scent is pleasant without being overpowering too. The reason I’m not giving five stars is that they do struggle with really baked on food, things like lasagne dishes or roasting tins that have been sitting for a while. For those you still need a soak first or a second cycle. But for normal day to day plates, glasses, cutlery, and pans they’re perfectly fine. We go through a lot of dishwasher tabs with two kids so getting 110 at a good price on Amazon is a no brainer. Will keep reordering these.
Good quality and Original tablets
Our installation expert mentioned it would be cost efficient to use dishwashing powder, salt and rinse aid separately but for hard water it was not only quite expensive, it was not cleaning as expected. Salt water marks would be present and had to wash all dishes allover again. But these powerball tablets are perfect when you have very hard water, I got this XXL pack for about 17rs per tablet, which works for a full load, even with greesy dishes. Now they come out squeaky clean and not water spots.
I’ve tried various dishwasher tablets over the years, but I always end up coming back to Finish Max All in 1 Powerball—and this 110-tab pack is brilliant value for money. It lasts ages and consistently gets everything sparkling clean, even after a particularly grubby roast dinner or a pile of baked-on casserole dishes.
The tablets are easy to use—no unwrapping, no faffing—just pop them in and go. I’ve never had any issues with residue or streaks, and the dishes come out shiny and spotless every time, especially glasses. I pair them with Finish rinse aid and salt, and the results are excellent.
The scent is subtle and fresh, nothing overpowering or artificial-smelling, and they seem to tackle tough food stains without the need for pre-rinsing—ideal if you’re trying to save on water or just a bit lazy like me!

Good for dishwashe
I buy this brand as the cleaning is good on dishes. Quality is ok, and works effectively on high load. Only issue is packed smells bad because of the box it came in. But overall good.

impressive cleaning performance
The Finish dishwasher tablets deliver impressive cleaning performance, leaving dishes sparkling and free from residue. However, they may not always dissolve completely in the cycle, which can be a bit inconvenient.
The best versio
Simply put finish is the best, i favour these over the higher grade finish ones as they are a solid tablet as opposed to liquid based, which do leak and become sticky. Glasses are streak free and drying is better so all in all a great tablet… As my dad always said by cheap by twice….
Great tablets
I am somewhat biased as I really like FINISH products. I have been ordering these tablets on repeat for some months now. I find them easy to use, they clean the dishes well and very rarely do I have problems with the tablet remaining in chunks in the dishwasher necessitating in items being put through again.
I order these on a regular basis from Amazon as the price has proven to be very competitive. However, this arrangement will only remain whilst this is the case.
Great value for an essential item
These do exactly what they are supposed to do. We have hard water and they occasionally do not dissolve in the dispenser. However, I put them in the base of the dishwasher and they work perfectly.
No complaints
I find these perfectly adequate and because they have now been superseded by several “new & improved” versions of basically the same product, they are as cheap as chips . I bung an additional tablet in the machine if I have a really greasy load
Purchased these to replace a pack of the Finish all singing and dancing liquid filled plastic packed tablets, which were a big problem in our dishwasher, see my separate review.
These fit into the dispenser perfectly so they easily drop out into the tray and the plastic cover on them dissolves every time as it is much thinner than the material used on the liquid filled variant.
As always everything comes out perfectly clean so long as you do not really overfill your washer, as the water needs to circulate around everything inside the washer. A lot of energy saving advice suggests that you fill the washer full up, but in our experience you will get some partially washed and clean items, which is not at all what you want. What you do want is some really good tablets and these are the ones.
Plus using the Finish dishwasher cleaner once a Month is a really good idea.
Which always seem to come up with an alternative brand to Finish which we have tried and it seems to leave a sticky feeling to everything that comes out of the washer.
