Well worth purchasing new for any internal decorating. I watched quite a few videos on You Tube before attempting to paint a wall and it is important to lay off the final coat to leave a lovely finish. The rollers are sturdy and high quality. The only thing I would do differantly is to order an extended pole with the rollers; to enable a final bottom to top to bottom laying off stroke, (purchasing the pole seperately of course increased my overall spend). I didn’t even wash the kit after use as I didn’t want paint going down he sink, so if I paint another wall, I’ll just re order a roller set. I think doing it this way ensures a smooth new roller to give best results for a relatively small cost.

Quality rollers. The tray came on one piece which was a relief. Good quality fabric which absorbs a good amount of paint and they clean well too with a bit of patience under the tap.
This is a good and, relatively, inexpensive paint roller set.
I purchased these to touch a paint job done by a decorator and, as such, I have only used the smallest one, but it was more convenient to buy the paint and rollers and do it myself than to call him back… which may have come at a financial cost but would certainly have come with a hassle and time cost.
The paint rollers are excellent on first use. However, after being washed and dried the next use is not as smooth as the roller is now less soft and more brittle.
