Reasonably fast response and great for making sure that the middle of a meat joint has reached the right temperature as my wife would get a bit snippy if I poisoned guests. She might even venture into sarcasm and that would be terrible.

Food cooking temperature is so important especially when using an air fryer.
This device gives a quick and accurate reading having tested it on ice water and boiling water. Good size readout.

Well worth the cost this gives versatility of use and reassurance that you will cut into your meats and find the Well-done / medium or rare condition you are looking for – So impressed I’ve bought a second one for my 13yrs old ‘cooking enthusiast’ grandson. Recommend

The thermometer quickly works up to temperature and the readings are very clear and accurate compared to my old thermometer
The instructions state the thermometer turns on automatically when the probe is opened and extended mine appears not to do this unless I have misinterpreted the instructions this is not a problem as the on off switch works effectively

I purchased this instead of buying the more expensive Ninja with the probe inside. Wanted to be able to check I wasn’t poisoning everyone when cooking chicken in my new Ninja. So far so good, we are all still alive. It is simple to use and a good price. Provides the reassurance that food is cooked all the way through.

I’ve used it couple of time and I can tell its reading 95% accurate. Rigid, well made and easy to use. Looks compact and attractive design. Bargain, and strong magnet to attach to side of fridge.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis works better than the other cheap one I had, although it is more chunkier than that one. It’s a bit awkward to use at times but does work and seems accurate. Battery lasts a longer time than the other. Good for the price

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe item arrived less than 24 hrs after ordering – excellent!
No Battery included but not a problem!
I decided to check the accuracy of the device so I turned it on via the on/off Button (moving the Probe out of its parked location didn’t turn it on!) and I inserted the Probe in boiling water in a Saucepan on my Gas Hob and the reading which took less than 10 seconds to stabilise was 99.5 deg C!!!
Most impressed and I would recommend this Thermometer!

Initially thought this looked and felt a bit cheap (but it is cheap!) but in use it does the job well.
I have a 15y/o heat probe on a length of wire which is handy for use in the oven or smoker as a real-time monitor with alarm but it is fiddly to use and slow to respond to temp. changes. This new one is quick and handy. I like it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a nice and neat little solution. The probe folds out for use, and snaps back into place with a satisfying click (which also turns off the device to save the battery, which is a good feature).

As far as I can tell, the temp readings are accurate, but without something else to compare to, it’s hard to say for exactitude. Seems to be fine though – when it says something’s cooked through, it’s not been wrong so far.

You can convert from F to C and vice versa with a single button-press too, which is handy if you’re using American recipe websites.

Accurate readings everytime but it is slow to warm up to the temperature. The plastic build also makes it seem cheap but don’t drop it too much and you should be good.
