1、Plug the Wireless CarPlay Adapter into the car’s USB/USB-C port;
2、Turn on Bluetooth and WiFi, search for “smart dongle” and pair them;
3、Wait for the prompt, select “Use CarPlay”.
Not sure how a previous reviewer couldn’t get this to work. Was pretty straightforward and works a charm. Hope it lasts the distance as I only installed it yesterday. Will update review if it breaks.
I bought this to replace a three year old device from another manufacturer (CarPlay2Air) which was playing up.
At less than half the price of the previous unit, the Hadio adapter is a marvel. It is so much faster to connect and I feel that the sound quality is better. I’ve only used it a day with three connections but it has worked fast first time. In addition, the initial step-up is so simple compared to the previous device.
