Genuine Review
My vehicle has CarPlay but only supports wired I bought this as sometimes I do not want my phone on charge doing airplay as you can drain the battery and destroy the phone that way.
I wanted a cheaper version of it which I bought this product
Pros: small device, plugs in via usb stays connected (once connected doesn’t disconnect), audio is 3 seconds delayed to general music/videos
Cons: Does take a few minutes longer than connecting wired to connect, sometimes freezes on black screen with logo simply unplug device and plug back in fixes it.
Price can be a bit more lower.
I can’t fault the device it does what it states it’s just an alternative to what I already currently have. So for anyone else enquiring or checking reviews for it then yes this product is ideal for the use of wireless CarPlay (this review is not paid) I am a genuine customer I believe writing this review will help people that are spending 25+ for anything on something.
Works as good as a cable
Not sure how a previous reviewer couldn’t get this to work. Was pretty straightforward and works a charm. Hope it lasts the distance as I only installed it yesterday. Will update review if it breaks.
Fast Connection and better than my CarPlay2Ai
I bought this to replace a three year old device from another manufacturer (CarPlay2Air) which was playing up.
At less than half the price of the previous unit, the Hadio adapter is a marvel. It is so much faster to connect and I feel that the sound quality is better. I’ve only used it a day with three connections but it has worked fast first time. In addition, the initial step-up is so simple compared to the previous device.
