Brilliant multi purpose cleaner!
This product is not only good for mould but as a cleaning agent too, just spray on shower tiles or glass or any other surface obvs hard areas not furniture, leave for half hour rinse then WALLA!! Perfect results, use in toilets then just flush, on your worktops just wipe off, easy as that, my favorite cleaner, better than any bleach even though its a bleaching substance, beware of very potent smell, leave windows open.
My flabbers are ghasted. This product works so well for mould I cannot believe it! Really simple to use, no scrubbing needed, just a quick wipe. The other reviewers are correct that it is very smelly, but clears with an open window.
I was a little skeptical about this product as I have used other mould removers in the past and they require a hefty bit of elbow grease in addition to their mould removing properties…
I followed the instructions, sprayed on the affected area (my bath silicone sealant in this case) and left it.. I set a 30 minute timer on my phone and went into the garden. After the 30 minutes had gone by, the first thing I noticed was the strong smell of bleach. Not over powering, but a strong smell nonetheless (keep your windows open).
I was AMAZED by the results… 30 minutes on, just wiped away. It was super easy to use! There was only 1 area that needed a second spray, but honestly, the end results were great!
For the price, I would definitely recommend this bad boy!

But like I said, just make sure you keep that window open because it’s a strong smell.
I used this on black mould that had built up around the silicone and grout in our bathroom, particularly in areas affected by condensation. I sprayed it on as directed and left it to work, and the results were excellent! the mould visibly faded and then cleared with very little effort.
In areas where the mould was heavier, I needed to repeat the process, but it still worked well and saved me from having to replace the silicone. It does have a strong smell, so good ventilation and gloves are a must, but that’s expected with a product this effective.
Once the mould was fully removed and everything was clean and dry, I followed up with a mould prevention spray to help stop it coming back. Using the two together feels like a much more long-term solution rather than just treating the surface.
Overall, this is a very effective mould remover especially when used properly and followed by a preventative treatment. Definitely worth having on hand for stubborn bathroom mould.
We don’t have a window in our bathroom and the extractor fan isn’t great, so we get quite a bit of moisture build up and therefore a recurring mould issue. We had mould all the way round the bath sealant, on the tiles next to the shower and on the ceiling above the shower to the point where I thought we were going to have to replace the sealant and repaint the ceiling. I applied the mould spray all over the affected areas and I could see it starting to work after only a few minutes. After 30 minutes all the mould had completely gone with no need to wipe, I just used the shower head to give some of the areas a rinse down and that was it. It’s very impressive stuff to a dullster like me. It hadn’t just masked over the mould, it had actually eaten away at it. It will be interesting to see how quickly the mould returns if at all. One thing I will say though is that it absolutely stinks of chlorine and I’m glad I chose to use it on a day that my daughter was at nursery. The smell is horrible and can be quite overwhelming. I was wearing a pair of gloves as instructed and a full face mask (the kind you would wear if you were spray painting a car) and I could still smell it. Even with all the upstairs windows and doors wide open you could still smell it for hours after and it even lingered into the next day. It actually left me feeling quite short of breath at points and I had to leave the house, so if you have a breathing condition or are quite sensitive to smells then I do not recommend this stuff to you. If you have a baby or young children I would make sure that they are out of the house while you use this or at the very least a different floor to the one you’re using it.
I recently used the HG Mould Spray (500 ml) and it genuinely exceeded my expectations — for context, I’m an accountant by day, creator by night, so I know the value of something that works efficiently and cleanly.
What worked well:
* The spray formula really pulled mould and mildew out of grout lines, seals and bathroom corners where it had been creeping in. No endless scrubbing.
* One application restored the surface so it looked fresh again — the whitish-background tiles looked uniform, the stains were fading.
* The 500 ml size is generous; I had enough for the shower area, skirting board and a window-frame seal and still had some left.

Excellent produc
Used this on a bit of mould around the corner of my window and it killed it clearing it back to the magnolia paint. I then used it on the shower mastic and it killed the mould there as well. Defo works.
Does the job!
Sprayed this on black mould in the shower and in the corners of windowsills. The mould is gone within 5-10 minutes! I don’t know how it does it but I’m impressed.

A couple of things to note: You do need the room to be well ventilated and if you are treating a wall and do not intend to paint it watch out for streaks.

It’s actually insane how well this works. I didn’t even have to scrub it. I sprayed, went away for 10 minutes, went back and it was pretty much gone. For some spots I had to do it twice, but it was super easy. 10/10

Bought this product as iv used lots of different things to try and get rid of the mould/damp on my bathroom ceiling nothing has really worked until I used this. Sprayed it and after 5 minutes could already see the results, very strong smelling so make sure to vent the room

This is a good product. I used it on my walls nearly 2 months ago and mold hasnt come back.

Wow, this really is great. I wish I’d thought to take a pic before I sprayed but I honestly didn’t think it would work. I literally watched the mould disappearing so grabbed my phone quickly and took these, it was much worse before. These pics are about 5mins after I sprayed and then the end result ones are about 35 mins after I sprayed.
I cannot recommend this enough! I tried everything to get rid of this parch in my hallway and nothing touched it. This stuff is like magic – it stinks so make sure to open a window or door and air the room you are using it in but, I can handle a bit of a smell if it gets the job done – and it does!
I’ve used a lot of concoctions to tackle mould but this spray was a new great find having read the reviews I went ahead and tried it for myself.

Mould was growing inbetween tiles due to bathroom being in an extension so tends to get a lot of moisture.
I sprayed it on and forgot about it for a few hours and came back to see the mould either completely gone or drastically reduced!!
Magic in a bottle but very very strong.
Ended up using the whole bottle without realising. Worth it in my opinion as mould has not come back since.

Be warned:
Please wear gloves, wear face mask, protect your eyes and avoid breathing in the fumes as much as possible. Leave windows open when applying and airing and keep children away.
It’s a great product and highly recommend! Used on washing machine seal too where there was heavy mould and removed and cleaned after 1 hour of sitting in the seal and all the mould gone!
It has been 3 months since the pictures taken and spray used – and nothing has come back.
Completely wiped out the mould.
Purchased to deal with mould in the corners of white a bathroom, prior to repainting. After spraying with this, the repaint job wasn’t necessary.
Also got rid of mould growth on the grout and silicone, but this needs a respray about once a fortnight to keep it white.
The chlorine smell is very strong, so ventilate the area well.
Will definitely buy again.
This works very effectively and left my mouldy shower ceiling clean and white without any effort but……
What the Amazon listing does not say that it isn’t recommended for painted surfaces or ceilings.
Fortunately, it doesn’t seem to have done the paint any harm.
I suspect that they don’t recommend use on ceilings because of the inevitability that you will be looking UP as you spray. I did get some eye-irritation but that was dealt with by prompt water irrigation and then eye-drops. Eye protection before you start would be a good idea!
There is an over-powering smell of chlorine, so you really must ventilate well. The chlorine smell was quickly apparent all over the house. It is still noticeable in the bathroom one week later but it is fading.
This ‘chemical warfare’ works extremely well but a bit of extra care is the price you pay for the quick, effective and effortless removal of the mould.

I read the instructions and it said to leave it for how many minutes to be properly applied. I didn’t have a lot of experience with mold and this time I had a bad case and I expected it will make it easier to clean the mold after 3 or 5 minutes (or whatever was the adviced time), but when I wanted to clean the mold from the wall I was surprised to see that the mold completely disappeared. I know this is properly what would happen with most properly chemicals like this one, but as I said I didn’t really have experience with mold and I can say I am positive surprised.
I actually don't think I can put into word just how well this works!
I have fought countless wars against mildew over the past few years, and I have tried everything and nothing has even come close to being as effective as this stuff is. the bottle says to spray and leave it to work for 30 minutes but the wall will be spotless in 5 minutes, all that’s left to do is wipe down the wall and done, no elbow grease needed.
Only “downside” is that these are some strong chemicals, very strong smell and please make sure you are using protective equipment when using it, wear gloves and make sure the room is well ventilated.
But I seriously recommend this stuff!
Miracle product!
This mould remover is absolutely fantastic. I sprayed this on the roof of my bathroom which was covered in black mould, left it there and the mould just disappeared. It could not have been easier! Really wish I had taken before and after pictures. I’ll be stocking up on this!!

About to give up on a bathroom blind covered in mould after scrubbing with bleach and other products then i read about this… Within 5 minutes its gone.. Every bit of mould gone.. Ive now tried it for mildew and used on shower screen etc to shift stubborn water marks and it worked a miracle on those too… Only downside is you have to spray and run as very toxic so ventilate well.. Does exactly what it says it does!
Worked within 10 minutes on a stubborn mould patch, it disappeared completely , It is quite a thin spray so if you’re using it on a ceiling like I did put something underneath to catch the drips, I used far to much the first time, the second patch I just sprayed once and it still worked it’s magic! It does leave a bleach smell behind but I don’t mind that – great price too.

Oh wow where do I start?! This is the best mold removing solution I have ever tried.
It’s amazing and it really does work. I sprayed plenty of the solution onto the black mold, left it half an hour, went back to it and, Hey Presto, the mold just wiped away without any effort.

I have been using HG Mould Remover for several years, and after experimenting with various alternative products making similar claims, I can confidently say that HG Mould Remover stands out as the most effective.
However, it’s worth noting that the product has a potent smell, so I advise using it in a well-ventilated area. One drawback is that the bottles have a tendency to leak over your hand while spraying, so I recommend using gloves as a precaution.
Miracle in a bottle
For as long as we have owned our house we have struggled with black mould/condensation due to it being old (1905) and having no cavity. In the past, we have tried different mixtures from vinegar, bleach, other mould sprays plus have used a dehumidifier along with 1 damp boxes in nooks and crannies alas we have a constant battle with the black stuff! Every year we dread autumn through to spring, but this year we found this spray and it has been a game changer.
We have mainly used it on walls, grout and windows and this little bottle has cut out hours of scrubbing and lots of stress and worry. I don’t like the idea use of using chemicals but it really worries me about the health effects the damp has on my family and this 5 product has made a significant impact on our lengthy battle with trying to keep it away. I would thoroughly recommend it and just advise that people follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

I had some mould growing by my front door, I sprayed it and boom! Immediately I could see the mould starting to disappear, after a very short amount of time it had completely gone! Magical stuff works so well
We was constantly get mould above the shower after many times clean it it just kept coming back. Used this stuff, even after spraying you can see it turning into a lighter brown and by the time 30 minutes is up ceilings completely clean with no mould at all.
There is a very strong, bleach smell almost like a swimming pool smell, but don’t mind it as long as it worked.
We have a mould issue in my daughter’s bedroom and I’ve tried every supermarket cleaner, but it was just cleaning the mould instead of removing it. Did an Amazon search and came across this product. Not a known brand, so I was unsure. But I had to listen to the thousands of reviews and I’m glad I did. After 15 mins, the mould was gone!!! No scrubbing…just gone…like magic! I’m not exaggerating! This will now be the only cleaning product for me. Your house will smell like a swimming pool, but small price to pay for no mould affecting my daughter’s lungs! Use an old cloth to remove as it will bleach the cloth. Excellent.
Omg i have tried a lot of things for mould and grime but this product is another level my bathroom is like new. I sprayed it on all grout and tiles and round the window and no word of a lie my bathroom is like new. I must say it is VERY VERY strong and takes your breath away and makes your eyes sting a little and water but for the after look what i got in my bathroom that was all worth it! I would defo recommend this to anyone as it does everything and more what it says and i have just ordered another 4 bottles as i used it not only for mould but to clean my toilet bath and sink and all is sparkly clean plus on two mouldy windows and my god what a difference it has done. I didn’t think the product would live up to the hype or deal with stubborn black mould spots – but it was incredible! It removed mould off painted walls, bathroom sealant, tiles, grout, paint, wood, ceramic tiles, and window frames. I’ve never seen anything work so fast and so effectively. It looks like we’ve entirely renovated the bathroom and installed new windows!
With lowered heating due to ridiculously inflated heating bills and very wet weather we’ve had issues with mould that simple ventilation could not resolve as the outside air was always wet and the weather permanently damp, drizzly or wet and mould started to develop from the windows into the room. Even with open windows and lots of ventilation, lowered heating caused mould to take hold.
This product has been a game changer.
This product works perfectly very quick and kills it all I couldn’t see mold after I’d used it. It lost a star because the spray nozzle leaks everywhere so be very careful if you use this stuff.
I learnt the hard way and ruined the t-shirt and definitely should have been wearing gloves.

Oh another little thing which is in small print on the back of the bottle!! Try it out before you spray it all over the place as it contains bleach. Good idea to also crack a window as the fumes are kind of strong from the bleach.
Worked within minutes
Had a bad mold problem from tenants not opening window when they shower as I have no extractor fan.
Got a step ladder and sprayed a patch at an angle so it wouldnt get any on me. Left for a few minutes to get something. When I came back it was all gone in the sprayed area. So for about 20-30mins I sprayed and waited and it all disappeared.
One thing I would recommend is having a cloth or something to wipe residue off ceiling when mold has gone. I would also suggest gloves/mask and to leave the window open as the fumes are strong.
Works perfectly
I had read some reviews outside of Amazon about this stuff, and thought for the price I would give it a go.
I have used it grout in the shower. Previously, we have been using an old toothbrush and bleach to clean, and even then, it didnt come out like new.
With this, we sprayed it on, and within seconds the mould / discolouration disappeared.
The only thing to note, is that when I used it on the tiled walls, as this quickly turns into liquid, the foam quickly slides down the tiled wall. If your tiles have a bit more texture, it may stay in place for a bit longer.
The drawback is the smell. It smells as though you have just walked into a public swimming pool, just after they have added more chlorine. If you like that smell, you are on to a winner… if you dont, you may want to air out your room during and after cleaning.
But the results are spot on, and for the price, you cant complain!

Brought all kinds of stuff for my bathroom even thought of having all ripped out cuz of the mould it was doin my head in but then saw this and sprayed it on left it for half hour strong smell I had to wear a mask used scrubbing brush and it has come up like brand new my bathroom looks so bright even the toilet looks new I’m definitely getting more so I can keep on top of it but it is realy strong so advice wear a mask and gloves not worth it iv saved myself money it’s the nest iv tried!!!!

Omg. I’m in shock. I’ve never had such awesome results. I had black mould on my window and I tried the mould gel tubes from Amazon. They were rubbish. Like didn’t change anything. Then I ordered the hg spray. Today I sprayed, left it for 30 mins and when I went back I couldn’t believe the sight. It was white with not a trace of any dark spots. Like wowwww. No scrub. Nothing. I just wiped it. It’s bleach and the smell is strong so tonight I’ll be sleeping in the other room and will leave the window open. But I totally recommend. I’ve rarely reviewed so quickly. So well priced and works like magic.

Had some black mould appear in the bathroom, stuck in the sealant on the bath and on the window frame…. Sprayed both within 30 mins completely gone!!! You must vacate the room after you’ve sprayed and make sure there’s a window open, it’s strong stuff. It returned the sealant to a bright white as well, really great product, I have always found HG stuff pretty good… Would recommend without hesitation.
Works well. But not great with very very deep mould
I encountered a major black mould issue in my bathroom, and fortunately, I found a reliable solution that saved the day. This spray proved to be highly effective, requiring just a maximum of two applications to witness the mould vanish within 15 minutes. Its performance definitely justified the price, and I had no regrets about my purchase.
Extremely deep seated mould it cleared but not as fully. Still not bad!
However, it’s important to note that the spray does have a strong odour so open your window to ventilate the room. I do advise caution when using the spray, as I accidentally allowed it to come into contact with my trousers, resulting in bleaching discoloured patches. So, while I highly recommend this product for its effectiveness, it’s crucial to handle it with care.
IT WORKS?!?! Best cleaning cupboard addition!
I was very skeptical when I brought this. It’s been a war against the mould around my shower/bath which has been building up for about 4 years. Many battles were fought scrubbing with bleach and bathroom cleaner etc with no avail. Nothing helped.
Then this popped up and I thought why not? It’s got good reviews, let’s give it a go.

Gave it a few sprays around, left it for about half an hour and the mould was gone, didn’t even scrub it! Gave it all a rinse and it feels like a new bathroom, I am so happy with this! It’s so satisfying I want to find more things to clean with this – might even take around friends’ places to see if they need it!

Open window and keep ventilated for the longest hours possible to get rid of fumes. Spray generously on affected areas. Seriously 30m later all I done was wipe off excess liquid and the damp was fully gone. Hasn’t removed paint. Some specks left but that’s because I was scared at first but second attempt and it’s gone. Tried it on bedroom window areas and bathroom. Well worth the money. If you’re asthmatic please do cover with mask before spraying as this stuff does smell strong
I’ve tried several mould remover sprays over the years to various results but this stuff is by far the best of them all. I actually bought this for white powder mould which was invading my cupboard under the stairs but thought I’d test it on black mould spreading over the bathroom mastic. Amazing results just half hour it was 100% gone! Thought I’d have to replace the mastic but this saved me a job and also worked well on white mould under the stairs, didn’t even smell that strong after use just a bleach like smell that didn’t linger long. Highly recommend this product!

So this came in very handy for us.
It is pretty easy to use, the safety features of the bottle are effective but easy to work out.
The product itself works really well on even the nastiest of moulds on a variety of surfaces.
The foaminess did mean that the product stuck quite well to mouldy bits but perhaps not as much as I had expected perhaps.
Its smell is quite strong but you just need to ventilate the rooms in which its been used to manage this.
The company also offers a product for dealing with mould stains on sealants.
Can wholly recommend this great product.
Superior mold cleane
We used a whole bottle for our basement, we spayed the wall and after 5 mins, the wall became white immediately, better than we expected. Good product but smell bad like bleach.
We used the whole bottle for the wall and it cost us about 14 dollars it is a little bit expensive and we have to buy again.
