Great little gadget!
My husband and I enjoy playing co-op games on the Xbox, however this used to mean the batteries in both controllers soon ran down. This little gem comes with rechargeable four batteries and charger so it means that we always have two charged (or charging) while we play! The hours of play on a charged battery are pretty good and for the money, I honestly think you can’t go wrong. Very happy!

So of them need to be pushed in really hard the first time to charge. One remains really hard to push in and connect but the other 3 are fine so all batteries cam get charged.
Cheap enough not to complain or return.

Good third party battery and charge

Well packaged and presented and this would make a nice gift for Xbox gamers.
We really like the charging indicators – read means charging; green means charged so It’s incredibly easily to tell which batteries are charging and which are charged.
Each of the two charging slots can be used independently.

Decent battery charge rate (5 hours) and game time (~15-20 hours) and each battery is rechargeable up to 2000 times!

Built-in overcharge, over current, overheat and short circuit protection noting that we can’t test these so taken in good faith! The unit does some kind of self-test each time it powers on but no real details as to what this is doing

Uninterrupted play
These Xbox batteries work great they and the charger are good quality. Easy to use and charge, each one lasts for hours and with two batteries, a quick swap over and recharge means that play is virtually uninterrupted.
The charge unit has a handy built in USB cable but there are alternative USBC and micro USB sockets which can be used instead if anything happened to the internal charge cable.
Just under 20 for 2 batteries (at the time of review) feels like a lot but they are good quality and work really well. Especially good if you have multiple controllers and additional players, i expect these batteries will last a few years.
Time and money saving
One of the best orders for my Xbox controllers. This is saves me so much on buying batteries and I would definitely recommend this for a gamer who plays for long hours.
Rechargeable batteries are so handy when it comes to Xbox controllers as you are going through many batteries through hours of gametime they fit very well into the controller and the charge time isn’t very long at all.
You are able to see if the battery is charged as well which is very handy as it will indicate a green light are USB cable allows you to plug it into Apple sockets and ports, which is what I personally do and I have had no issue with the batteries.
Battered and Bruised
As gamers we get through a lot of batteries and have moved over to rechargeable to try and help the environment. They initial outlay may be a little more, but over time you save money and help put less batteries into the recycling. This ‘Rechargeable Battery Pack for Xbox One’ is in many ways your typical charger. It is more compact than some. The charging cable comes wrapped in the side and you pull it out each time. You will have to supply your own USB plug, but if you are anything like us you will have a basket full of these by now. The packs fit simply into the back of an XBox and the amount of charge is decent, without being at the level of a high end single use battery duo.
Cheap and cheerful
Convenient and versatile charger, with good quality battery packs that fit well into an Xbox controller. You’d be paying somewhere close to 20 for 4 2600mAh AA rechargeables and a nice charger, which is pretty much what this kit is, so reasonable value here, though you do lose the versatility of having 4 batteries available to use in other devices if you chose to.
Could be higher capacity cells for the price, but 2600mAh x 2 is enough to get through even the longest gaming session, and with another pack always on charge, no big complaints here!

This pair of Xbox rechargeable batteries are handy, as I am still using my old play ‘n charge ones that are now about 8 years old and they aren’t holding charge like they used to. These give me 50+hrs off a 5hr charge (for both). Realistically after a couple of uses I’m getting a little less than claimed (22hrs each one), still longer than my usual old ones but not 25hrs+. OK the trade off is keep removing and charging as opposed to just plugging in controller to USB C lead. These have multiple charge options via USB B, C or Micro USB inputs. When charging these display red and when fully done will display green. A huge bonus too, is that you can put in rechargeable AA batteries into this charger too. They won’t overcharge or short circuit either.
Overall I’d recommend these batteries as a back up, just plug into spare USB on Xbox for whenever you need em. Really handy to have.
