TIP 1 – Let it be
Do not use the ice maker immediately out of the box, let the refrigeration system rest until the impact of the bumpy shipping process on it fades away. The first 5-10 batches of ice cubes might not be in perfect status and might not be made at a fast speed. Give it time to get to run stably.
TIP 2 – Use Filtered Water
Filtered water produces the crystal clear ice cubes you expect from an ice machine. Without it, the ice cubes come out soft and clouded from the mineral build-up. It will also keep the ice maker cleaner, requiring less maintenance. (Please DO NOT use distilled water, pure water with low TDS value, water for various beverages, warm water, or water with a high PH.)
TIP 3 – Keep It Cool
While portable ice makers have an insulated ice storage bin, they are still sensitive to the temperature of the room they’re kept in. The ambient temperature should be between 10 degrees and 26 degrees Celsius for best results. It allows the machine to use less electricity and keeps the ice solid longer.
TIP 4 – Keep It Clean
Wipe down the ice bin and water reservoir to keep the inner mechanisms as dry and clean as possible when not in active use. This will prevent any buildup of grime or minerals that could cloud up or soften the ice cubes the machine produces. *Cleaning is recommended once a week.
TIP 5 – Use Room-Temp Water
Use room-temperature water(8℃-28℃) instead of cold water from your freezing machine to make ice.
TIP 6 – Use It Or Freeze It
An ice maker is by definition not a freezing machine, it cannot keep the ice frozen. Use the ice immediately or keep them in a fridge.
TIP 7 – Keep It Upright
Please do not turn the ice maker upside down or tilt it more than 45° during transportation or use. If in any case, it happens, level and let it stand upright for at least 2 hours before you plugin and use the unit again.
TIP 8 – Power Check
This ice maker only works with 220-240V electricity and comes with a 3-pin British plug, make sure to check your outlet’s power voltage before using the product if you are NOT in the UK.

This product is smaller than I thought it would be but it makes ice quickly and constantly. We use it to fill up a larger container in the freezer so that we have ice on hand all the time. It is a bit noisy so we keep it in the utility room and it doesn’t bother us at all. You can hear the ice dropping out which is a good reminder that it’s ready!
I have been looking for a while and bought this one as it makes 2 sizes of ice cubes and the outside is metal rather than plastic! Had a whole plastic bag worth of ice within 5 hours love it!
Keep your expectations real, this will not produce massive cubes (bullets) but it will produce many small bullets which you can then store in the freezer. Fairly quiet, unit does kick out a fair bit of heat. Easy to clean and doesn’t need topping up too often.

Really love this ice machine, don’t know what we did before it.Makes ample ice for us all day( there are 4 adults).Very simple to use ,good instructions and well made machine. Doesn’t take up huge amounts of space so is easy to leave out. We have been freezing extras in the main freezer.
Well it works as an ice maker. Almost enough said, but the speed of making ice, is due to the large ice been small compared to other ice machines I have had over the years. There is little difference between the large and small sizes.
The unit is smaller than other ice machines I have owned, but still has a good capacity. Would I buy it again – probably not due to the large ice size.
I bought this as a replacement for my old ice machine which died on me recently after 6 years exemplary service and it owed me nothing. I took it everywhere I go and will no doubt do the same with this new one. I ordered this because it has a self cleaning function and the main casing is stainless steel which, to me seems to add to the quality of the unit. Makes a similar noise to my previous one but not enough to put me off. Great prompt delivery, you have to unbox it and let it stand for a minimum of 24 hours before you fill it and switch it on. Two sizes of cubes, I prefer the large ones, 9 every 6 mins or so, what’s not to like. This is without doubt, my favourite gadget.
This product makes lots of ice in cycles over a period of about an hour. It creates a few ice cubes within about 7 minutes and then more and more are made. It’s the best thing I’ve ever bought,according to my children. We have all really enjoyed it so far but haven’t been able to select the large ice cube function. Only small ice cubes.

Love this machine, use ours twice a week as we use a lot of ice. Just keep adding it to your freezer bags. Make loads in bulk twice a week no more running out of ice.
This product is absolutely amazing. It bangs on about how sensitive it is in the blurb but this thing has moved house, been tipped upside down, had water left in it, the works. And it’s still going strong! It’s really fast, and makes loads of ice, only downside is the ice isn’t solid, its like a cone with a hole in the middle. So it does melt very quick, but given you can make a freezer full of ice, just get more ice. I have a health condition where sometimes I can’t drink, and can only suck on ice or have ice chips and this thing has ice ready pronto, it’s changed my life.
When we first got our ice maker, the machine cycled once before stopping. We tried a second time, but no ice. I sent an email to the distributers with an explanation of the fault. Within a couple of hours they had replied and informed me it was probably the compressor and that they would send another machine. The new machine arrived 3 days later. I have had the machine for a week now and its producing plenty of great ice.

I absolutely love it. Any leftover ice can be easily stored in a zip lock bag in the freezer. The best feature is the safety measure of keeping around half a litre of water in the tank to stop it from drying out.
