We have a few solar cameras from other brands, but wanted to try this iGeek one. It’s very easy to set up – the instructions are clear and easy to read. Once set up the image quality is good – daytime is crystal clear. Using the app, the camera functions can be personalised in no time. The solar panel has keep the battery charged at around 25% from Feb to Mar. Considering the weather hasn’t been great, this seems acceptable. Would definitely recommend this camera.

This is undoubtedly a great camera for the money, but why no simple Arm and Disarm function on the app home screen to overide the time schedule? If I have to nip down the garden after the time schedule has armed the camera, I have to search through several screens to disarm the camera temporarily so I don’t set it off. Why not have a simple Arm-Disarm button on the home screen like most other competitors? This is my only gripe, but otherwise a great buy.

Very easy to setup, provide the detail for your network and then use the camera itself to take picture of the code provided and it configures itself.

Very ease to configure by the app and the picture is great for what I need it for overlooking our rear garden entrance.

Infrared view for darkness picture is good but has the addde bonus of the ‘bright’ light activating too for full colour.

Very good value for the money

I was a bit dubious about buying this as we were looking for a battery-driven camera, but after following the easy-to-set-up instructions, I was very pleasantly surprised. It does what it says on the box and provided you just let it do its job, the drain on the battery is less than what I thought.
Would highly recommend this for ease of setup and operational value. Would be good though if it came with an SD Card which I bought separately. Great Job guys

I bought this product to help keep my husband safe, he has dementia and at times goes wandering at night I’ve made the garden secure but I need to know if he goes out during the night so I can help him come back indoors into the warm he doesn’t always get dressed first. It did take me a while to master the instructions but with a little help from family to show me how to navigate the system it works fine and gives me peace of mind.

You will not be disappointed with the quality of both the image at night or day, it exceed expectations.

Local storage means that you can playback and store historical recordings. The mobile app also allows for easy setup and allows you to invite someone to your home once they’ve registered. Once invited they can see any cameras you’ve added.

The battery life is excellent these cameras are exactly what you need if you don’t want to run any wires. I would highly recommend them.

A gift for my husband, these two cameras keep ‘a keen, watchful eye’ on our property. There is no wiring to worry about, so no cables to run through walls or squeeze through window frames. The picture quality is very good both day and night and we are quickly alerted to any movement detections via the ieGeek Cam application. The set-up process can be a little confusing, but we got there OK in the end. Perhaps a little on-line help with the app would be useful, as it’s not immediately clear what all of the settings are for.
Overall, we are very pleased with the purchase.

Excellent camera for the price. Great pic quality and the motion detection works well, even the local cats are picked up. Night sight is clear and the app is easy to use. Only been using 2 weeks but battery like is holding. We did buy a rain hood for ours though and although it’s waterproof I wanted to be on the safe side and I certainly would recommend doing that. We’ve not really used the siren, floodlight or intercom function as it’s out the front of the house but likely we would have those at the back as we intend to buy another one for the rear of the house. It’s a good camera if you just want a basic security system.

We needed a security camera for the rear of the property. After doing some research, the ieGeek camera looked very promising.

It didn’t disappoint! It was very easy to install with the fixing kit provided. The instructions were straight forward to follow. Once installed, you have to download the app and register the camera to the WiFi which again was very easy to do. The app is very user friendly and fine tuning the camera settings is very simple to do.

Camera quality is very good with a clear picture. The are no subscription fees as you can install a micro SD card to record your videos. We also opted for the solar panel to help with the battery life.

Overall very happy with the ieGeek camera and would highly recommend! We are now looking to purchase the doorbell camera to replace our other ‘well known brand’ doorbell camera.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis camera is super easy to set up and install, no hassles at all. It does a great job, the camera quality is superb for the price (genuinely surprised as to how good it is), and the sensors are great. The options to toggle sensitivity for motion detection is a great feature if there is a lot of windy and rainy weather that could trigger the motion detection, and the features such as siren, microphone/speaker and strobe lighting work as a great deterrent for any suspicious activity. I use this to overlook my new motorbike following the theft of my previous one and it has put my mind at ease. One small thing I will say about the app itself is that you do get frequent and constant notifications if any motion is detected, which in a way is great as it will notify you immediately and often, but your phone will be constantly buzzing. Other than that, I can’t fault this product!

I bought these cameras (with solar panels) to monitor the outside areas around my home after a number of break-ins in the area. After a quick charge I added them to the app with the relevant settings then set them to up cover the areas required around the garden.
Although small and discreet my neighbours have noticed the one covering the front of the house and have been impressed with the quality of the day and nigh-time picture quality and are considering ordering themselves.

I bought his camera as a replacement for an eufy which I found naff, even going of a the sight of a mere raindrop, I’m so impressed, the picture is crystal clear, really well made and couldn’t be happier, for a third of the price I paid for previous cam, I’ve bought an ieGeek done cam for the front of the house aswell, the app makes setting up and using the camera simple. I’d highly recommend

I bought this camera for the side and rear of my home. Set up & wifi connection so easy with my iPhone and BT wifi. Camera itself is compact and ideal without the need for drilling and wiring. My problem comes from poor rural internet. All ok inside but won’t function outside due to the signal being too poor. Where you have over 1mbs of wifi these will be great!

This is an excellent product. It is very easy to install, control and monitor via the intuitive app, while the battery life has great longevity (at current usage levels, it might need a recharge every four months or so). I have multiple cameras and would find it helpful if could apply the same settings to all of them at once, rather than repeat the settings for each camera individually. Adding such a feature would make the app even better. Apart from that minor grumble, I have no complaints about the product. It is excellent.

Bought this camera to overlook the back yard. Very easy to install and setup. The app is easy to use and review videos. I charged the battery when I received the item and I have not needed to charge it again about 1 month later it still has about 85% left. The night vision is really good as it can either be black and white or full colour with the light it comes with. Overall great product and well worth the money

I bought this Camera few days back and it does magic. It captures live videos and sends alerts to you any device including your Mobile phone.
It give clear pictures and night vision is in colour.
You can also play back and view the captured motion detection.
It is easy to install and also easy to recharge battery.
I would recommend to anyone looking to secure their Home and get instant alert on your phone.
You can also talk to person, just as same as Door Bell Ring does.

Item received in great condition. Quick and east to set up. You can have multiple users/family viewing the camera on their smartphone device. Has a light which can be manually switched on by the account holder and also a siren which can be manually activated or set up to go off when you would like ie at night to ward off intruders. This feature is activated in the settings. Just a note, the main account holder is the person who first sets up the camera and downloads to their phone. They can then share the QR code found in the app once downloaded which can give other family members/users access.

Basically I wanted this camera to provide a view of the road outside my house. It does this and more.
I am assuming that having fitted a 32GB sd card it makes a continuous recording of the scene which overwrites when the card is filled up. I’m not sure about this since I find the manual supplied very difficult to read. I have tried to find a full version of the manual online but my searches are not fruitful.
The picture quality is excellent during the day d good at night.
The screw fittings for securing the camera on its holder could be improved but so far the picture has stayed where set.
    Overall good value the price.e

As with the other reviews I found the camera easy to set up and install. So far the battery life seems excellent.
The main benefit of the camera for me is that it is wireless and works well with the SD card. The picture quality is very good both night and day.
I have had to install the camera quite low down (bungalow) and it could easily be pulled off the wall, but it will still be a major deterrent to any intruder as they wouldn’t know if they were being recorded on an SD card or to the cloud.
All in all this is an excellent product for the price, so much so I ordered another one a few days later.

It has been in use since and battery is good showing 85% life remaining.
So happy with the camera and I will get another for the back of the house.
Very clear picture even at night, good sound pick up, and detection every time.
I have been looking for a camera for a while and have compared many for the price range, this turned out to be the best in the price range, real happy.

I bought this system to add security to my home after finding rubbish dumped in my drive. It was very easy to install with plenty of Youtube videos to help with using the software. The picture quality in daytime is very sharp and the night time is not bad either. The only thing I would change if I was designing this would be to have the nightlight at the bottom rather than in ther middle as it partially obscures the night view. Great value for the money.

Installation was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly instructions. The night vision capability is remarkable, providing a clear view even in complete darkness. The mobile app allows seamless remote monitoring, adding an extra layer of convenience. Overall, this CCTV camera exceeds expectations, offering top-notch security for my home. Worth every penny! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for to protect their home.

Usual Amazon super quick delivery. The camera itself is quite superb and far exceeded my expectations. Took a while to fathom out how to set up the various settings but all good if you persevere, and then It all seems clear. Battery life is looking to be very good, as is the image quality. So impressed with this device I’m seriously considering buying another one for a different location or to look at my bird boxes. I have a rather expensive HD camera at the front of my property but I have to say the image quality of this device is equal to it.

The camera was easy to set up and the app is intuitive and works well. The picture is really clear and is also great at night – it’s sensitive to things I want to see, but doesn’t seem to be triggered by things that are not important.
I’ve charged it once and it’s going strong after a week, with the battery indicator still full. I bought a separate SD card, which cost about 10 – I guess there is a risk that the camera could be taken with the card, but the camera does come with cloud backup as a paid option.
This seems to be a great security camera and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWow the picture quality actually blew me away a bit, the world of CCTV cameras has been seriously lagging in its image quality however this camera i feel breaks that trend with really crisp images. Also to note is the night shot capabilities very impressive. While it has the added feature of white light floodlighting you can turn this off in the settings to just have infrared (select black and white). Its set up was easy it will record to its internal SD card independently of WIFI (if you need to) its battery lasts for ages. If i had one ask of the manufactures it would be can you make a PC or Mac desk top app. The IOS and Android app is great for your devises.

The camera is as good at night as it is during the day. Great picture quality, Sound quality is good. Not that I brought it for its sound. I have had the camera up and running now for 3 weeks and only just had to charge it. So battery life is good obviously if it’s up in high movement areas it may need to be charge more often. I have had no problems with connecting this to WIFI. This gives me peace of mind that the rear of my house and garden is secure. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking at having that little bit of piece of mind all is good when you are not home.

UPDATE: wanted to change my rating to 5. The flaw still holds but i think it wont affect most of the users. The battery life is really good. i installed it to my room just to try, it gets activated many times a day. battery is 39% after 23 days. considering the price, this is one of fhe best cameras on the market.

The camera is good. The app is especially good, easy to use. I just cant find how to disable night vision. I need to use this cam behind windows, and night vision infrared light reflects from the glass, putting the cam into a loop between normal and night vision, making it useless for my case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great cam with a flaw

Great camera for the buck. Very easy to set up with the app, and with just 3 screws to attach to wall – very easy to install.
We have no barrier between our garden and the walkway, and the camera picks up everyone walking by. I had to switch off the notifications but they’re all stored and very easy to access and delete.
Had to buy the additional SD card but there only a few pound.
The 6 second recording captures images really well and from quite a distance. All recordings can easy be downloaded to your camera roll if you wanted to forward them on.
The intercom works great – an added bonus. There is a siren feature – but yet to try this.
Battery life so far so really good. It’s been up a week now and battery gone down only 3% – and that’s with all initial playing around with it.
Will definitely buy another for the back door – highly recommendable

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI didn’t expect too much from this device for the price, but it’s really exceeding my expectations.
Firstly the image quality is very good. The video is smooth and clear and still images captured from the video have enough resolution to be able to enlarge the image considerably. The night time images are surprisingly good too.
The camera was really easy to connect to the WiFi. It only took a couple of minutes. I downloaded the app without issue, but the app is a bit laggy and takes a few seconds to connect to the camera. I put a 32gb memory card in the camera (not supplied) which seems to be more than enough even with video capture set for 20 seconds. (You get a 6 second recording which can be saved to the cloud for free)
I would say that the app is the weekest aspect but it is still fairly easy to use and allows you to set the camera up to suit your needs. Some more instructions would have been helpful.
The camera functions really well overall. The humanoid sensor and PIR have a limited distance over which they will detect, but they work well in that short range. On the positive it stops unwanted activations. There’s a few seconds of delay between the camera activating and the notification appearing on our phones, but it’s no great issue.
Battery life seems pretty good. There’s still plenty of charge in it several weeks on and it activates alot.
Overall this is a great bit of kit and I’m considering buying another for the rear of the property.
    I recommended it.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersAfter a number of unsolicited daytime visits to our home we decided to install a camera system so my partner and I could be notified on our phone of anyone approaching our property either front or back doors. We ordered a twin pack of the battery version of this camera from ieGeek (after doing a little research) where this model came out well at this price point. The parcel arrived next day, and I was delighted to see the quality of the compact design. After charging them both with the supplied leads we began the ‘set up’ routine. This is on par with any other modern electronic device and wasn’t too difficult but required the downloading of the ieGeek app. We set it up for both cameras to link with two mobile phones. Unfortunately we live in a sprawling brick built converted barn so the distance to the WiFi Hub had to be considered carefully to get a strong signal from the cameras. In a home with a ‘regular’ layout, I suggest there would be no issue. The cameras also require a mini SD card each to carry recordings which adds to the cost overall. After a using for a week we found the cameras work well but reporting rechargeable battery life will require a longer test. If someone walks near the camera to activate it (range and field of activation is adjustable), a message is sent immediately to the connected phones. Clicking the message opens the app and shows the camera view and a set of touch screen buttons. These allow you to talk to the person through the camera like an intercom, turn on ‘record’ for sound and vision, turn on an integrated LED light, or set off a siren. Note the camera will automatically record 6 seconds of video to the cloud every activation, but if you want it to record in the cloud for longer say 20 sec bursts it requires a 25 annual subscription which seems reasonable. Each user will set these up depending on need, and it has many variable settings. For example having the lights come on automatically at night, but maybe not the siren if you wish to not annoy your neighbours. I also suggest its worth turning them off via your phone when out gardening, washing the car, or moving around near the cameras etc. If you don’t, the camera will keep tripping resulting in many messages being sent to your phones. The camera also has the ability to learn via AI to only be activated by humans and not by animals or cars for example. Overall for the price this is a terrific device and I am very happy with it’s performance to date. Well done ieGeek!

I love this camera. Very easy to setup and the quality superb. I wanted a wireless camera to capture a secluded area of my garden wasn’t visible from the back window. This camera is perfect and the fact that it’s solar means I don’t have to connect to the mains or charge the battery is forever being charged by the solar. Quality is really good too you have a choice of SD or better HD quality. You get 5 second captures but I brought a small 128gb card for storage. Only had it a few weeks though at the moment really really happy.

I purchased the camera and Solar Panel whilst on Holiday to see how easy it was to setup. No problem on that front whatsoever!! Now I am home my only problem is where to install it. I am in two minds as to whether to bother with the Solar Panel. I think I will try it without initially. The only problem with that is the Camera will have to be installed somewhere easily accessible to enable easy Re-Charging, in which case it will also be easily accessible by those nefarious creatures we are trying to detect!
All things considered I am more than happy, hence my Ratings.

This is our first security camera and we’re amazed at the quality of the images it produces, both day and night. They are crystal clear, encompassing two cars, our front garden, and even the cars across the road so our camera is helping to keep them secure too!!

We bought this with security in mind, obviously, and it absolutely fits the bill. We feel more secure and the bright light is a visible deterrent. It also has unexpected uses, such as allowing us to keep an eye on our cats and their feline friends from neighbouring houses. At times, that’s actually better than watching TV! It also says a lot about the quality of the image.

The app caters for Android and iOS – between us, we use both – and again is intuitive. A technical mind is definitely not needed, it ‘just works’. All you’ll need is batteries to power it and a micro SD card to record onto so that you can retrieve film should you ever need to. Simples!

This is my first review of the year and the product deserves it. If you need a security camera, we highly recommend this one.

I bought this camera to use at my elderly Parents’ house to help me monitor what was going on for their safety. Camera was easy to install and as battery powered I could place it anywhere. At the moment I’ve decided to use it indoors but may later put it outdoors. Battery life is good so far. Live view/recorded view can be a little slow to load but Customer Services explained that it’s uploaded to their server and then downloaded to me. It’s quicker if you use it on the same WiFi network but that wasn’t what I need it for. Overall I’m happy with it so far.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving looked at various cameras I decided on this one and so glad I did. It arrived well packaged and on time, the instructions for installation were great and the included solar panel option I went for is keeping the battery well topped up (in September) even though it only gets direct sun for less than half a day.
My concern was for a weather protected camera, and this certainly appears well sealed and will meet the duty.
The camera is very neat and discreet when installed.
The customer support has been excellent and fast to respond when I had a couple of queries on the setting up and tweaking of the settings. Hoping to link this up to Alexa very soon.
On the short time of owning it I would certainly recommend it and purchase again.

We looked at buying the camera to watch the cars as they are tucked away as it’s not easy to see them. Get a really good image which I’m happy with and it’s got good connection even though its right of the edge of our WiFi. Only things is it took a few attempts to set up as it didn’t want to connect to the app, though now it has its fine and after a week it’s on around 85-90% battery, so it drains at a fair rate. It also had problems picking up motion but now everything is on the highest setting it gets everything (probably why the battery is draining quickly)
However it does everything we wanted it to do and we are happy with i

Great value for money. I did not want to spend a fortune and chose what I thought to be a low budget camera. These are great little cameras that are not intrusive on the building.

Pleasantly surprised with the 2k video quality. Motion detection is spot on, however, I would like to keep the light off as I already have security lighting. Does not appear to be an option to turn that off. That said it is a great security feature.

I have not yet put up the solar panels but will. Battery life is really impressive so far, all four have been up for 5 days now. 3 of the cameras do not see much action and are still over 90%, the main one has been used loads for recording and testing, now at 58%.

Video recording is easy and easy to send to yourself to keep a record. Microphone is not the best, but I am more than happy as it does what we need. The talk facility is quiet. Alarm is not loud but again does the job.

All in this is a great addition to our security and more than happy with price and quality. Easy to install, easy app. You do get a small amount of free storage which I think will be adequate but I will sign up for the unlimited cloud storage.

Great customer service who were quick and responsive.

This item is a spectacular find and addition to our household security. Here is a list of all it’s wonderful features:

-Installation was incredibly easy. Took less than 10 minutes, all you need is a screwdriver.
-Camera footage is super clear. Very easy to distinguish faces, even at night time.
-The motion sensor sensitivity can be altered, which is incredibly helpful for when you only want this feature to be triggered up to a certain distance.
    -Records both video and sound
-Battery lasts for days. After the initial charge, I still have not needed to charge it yet. The battery levels can be monitored on the app, very handy.
-You can view the footage wherever you are, speak into the microphone to visitors and even set off a loud siren to ward off unwanted visitors.
-Cloud storage is very easy to organise and very cheap too!

Have not come across any negatives to this product yet, so overall I am incredibly impressed with the device and would strongly recommend you go for it.

This camera is extremely easy to install via 3 wall plugs and is easy connect to your phone via the app. The app is simple and efficient, and the camera quality is excellent. You can use without an SD card, view live footage and save images. But I would recommend inserting an SD card to get full functionality regarding improved image quality and the option to record and save video footage. The solar panel is just as easy to install and plug into the camera. The location of my solar panel sees direct sunlight for approx 6 hours of the day. This is enough to keep the camera fully charged. I have another camera without a solar panel and this only needs charging via usb every 3-4 months or so. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone, excellent value for money. Would definitely buy more IeGeek products in the future.

Purchased iGeek cameras to keep an eye on things whilst away, and here is my review:

    Pros –
Installation: Straight out of the box, quick charge (bit about charging below). Really simple to fix the bracket, and the moveable ball joint makes positioning the camera easy.

Connectivity: Straightforward link to WiFi using Igeek app. Simple instructions and up and running in a couple of minutes.

Camera: robust, solid feel. Good picture quality, day and night. Best quality is only available when subscribed to cloud servers (more about subscription below). The camera has a built in security light, and whilst not a full on floodlight, does the job well allowing for colour images at night.

App alerts: Reasonably quick to get alerts and easy to view through the app.

    Cons:
Price of subscription. Biggest negative is the price of cloud subscription. It’s $2.99 per month, PER CAMERA. This could become expensive very quickly. A better subscription package model would be to have a set price for up to (x) number of cameras like others do. You can just use SD cards as storage, but you lose the functionality of having high quality images, as this is only available to subscribers.

Charging: takes a lot longer than expected to charge. Charging from 18% has taken over 4 hours so far and still not fully charged.

Battery life: 180 day battery life is a little dubious. I’m on 47 days and have had to charge the cameras. To be transparent, there are different degrees of battery life depending on use. The main camera that covers the main entrance, thus used most, lasts the least. And, I have everything turned on such as high quality imaging and night light. Still, if this was in a dark box, with no movement, it may just stretch to 180 days, but in my opinion will probably be 8 weeks at most of normal use (56 days)

Overall, great cameras, good app, just let down with the subscription package.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Cameras, Only let Down by Subscription Package

We bought this as a security measure for the contents of our garage. It’s a device that you charge before you mount via Mains power, but the solar panel that comes with it is an economical feature that means that it maintains itself. Which is great, because whilst you’re paying for that extra eye, it’s great to know that it’s not going to continue to bleed your wallet.

it’s sensitivity to motion is quite excellent. Combined with its picture quality and notification system, you’re not likely to miss a visit. It even catches cats and other animals if you’re not looking for security.

We’d recommend anyone getting one for DIY home security installation that doesn’t break the bank. The picture quality is comparable to the RING doorbell, and the notifications are prompt on your phone. Would we get another one? Definitely.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo after having an igeek battery cam the last several years I decided to purchase another as from experience the customer service is excellent and is the product. So after an easy set up”make sure your Wi-Fi is set to 2.4 ghz” mine is set to mixed so no problems there, I connected easily to my phone using the barcode to Download the app and found there’s a lot of usable options in the app I used the pre sets I like the fact in night mode it stays black and white but when movement is detected it goes to colour mode although you can set colour mode to constant on but will use more battery! the image quality is excellent and the alerts to my mobile aren’t set off by say an insect etc although it has sensitivity adjustments to suite plus other fine settings if needed. All in all a great battery cam. I can’t comment on battery life at the moment on this cam as only installed a few days ago.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe have recently bought two of these ieGeek 2K Wireless Security Cameras for our back garden and driveway. I have to say, we are very impressed with them and are getting a third to go above our above our garage back door. The cameras are easy to set-up (via the App) and you can add more cameras to your home group, which again is an easy process due to the robotic lady talking you through each step. There’s a small blue light (which you can switch off, should you prefer) showing people it’s a working bonafide camera and not a dummy. It only took a short while to secure the camera to the wall due to it being wireless. The picture quality is great, detecting movement from people has been reliable and you can zoom in if you’re looking for a close shot…the 2 way audio is a great feature and can be used just like an intercom system for when you’re not home and are expecting packages to be delivered. They are small and compact, definitely look impressive on the outside of the house..we’ve had no problems since they’ve been installed, plus the battery in both cameras are still at 98% battery since installation and we’ve been playing with them an awful lot!! Overall, these are a great piece of kit and I would absolutely recommend them to both friends and familyworth every penny!!

4.0 out of 5 stars A camera that ticks all the boxes

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe’ve only had this camera for a week, but for our purposes, there is a lot to like. We have a corner of the garden that is an active bird spot, but is hard to watch from the house. We bought an ieGeek ZS-GX3S to monitor the birds because of the favourable reviews and because it appeared to have all of the features we wanted. We were not disappointed.

The camera is easy to set-up via the iGeek App and there is a good deal of control over features you may or may not want. We were not interested in the night vision nor motion detection options initially, so just had a quick play with those. They seem to work fine. The unit is water proof to a high level (soon tested) and has an embedded rechargeable battery that we found appealing.

You can take pictures and videos easily.

Picture quality, particular via the QHD setting is good. I found my phone screen was not large enough to see the detail we wanted, but followed on line instructions to get the ieGeek app running on Windows via the BlueStacks Android emulator. That gives full screen displays on our monitor with a reasonable frame rate. A 75% wi-fi connection is recommended, but our camera appears to work reliably with a 60% connection from the back of the garden.

Early days yet, but so far we are very happy with the camera – it does also look like it would be an excellent security camera if we need one!

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersAs a non-techie individual, I was a bit hesitant to venture into the world of security cameras. However, the eGeek 2K Wireless Security Camera proved to be an absolute delight, making the installation process a breeze and providing peace of mind like never before!

Let’s start with the setup process. It couldn’t have been easier! The wireless design eliminated the need for complex wiring, saving me from the headache of dealing with tangled cables. All I had to do was follow the straightforward instructions provided, and within minutes, the camera was up and running. No technical expertise required!

The eGeek 2K Wireless Security Camera boasts colourful night vision, and let me tell you, it’s impressive! Even in low-light conditions, the camera delivers clear and detailed images, ensuring I can keep an eye on my property 24/7. The ability to see colourful night footage is a game-changer, as it allows me to identify important details that traditional black-and-white cameras might miss.

I’m not one to fuss over frequent battery replacements, so the rechargeable battery feature of this camera was a big win for me. The battery life is excellent, lasting for a long time between charges. It’s so convenient to recharge the battery without having to dismount the camera from its position.

When it comes to outdoor security, durability is a must, and the eGeek 2K camera delivers on that front. It’s weatherproof and built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, protecting the camera’s internal components from the elements.

The video quality is outstanding, offering 2K resolution that captures even the finest details. Whether it’s monitoring the driveway, backyard, or front porch, the camera provides crystal-clear footage that gives me peace of mind knowing I won’t miss a thing.

Now, for someone who’s not too tech-savvy, I appreciate products that don’t overwhelm with complicated features. The eGeek 2K camera strikes the perfect balance between functionality and ease of use. It comes with a user-friendly app that allows me to access live footage, review recordings, and adjust settings effortlessly.

In conclusion, the eGeek 2K Wireless Security Camera has been a non-techie’s dream come true! With its simple installation process, colourful night vision, rechargeable battery, weatherproof design, and user-friendly app, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a reliable outdoor security camera that’s hassle-free to set up and delivers exceptional performance, look no further. The eGeek 2K camera is a fantastic choice for providing the security and peace of mind you need without the technical headaches!

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersOn opening the security camera it was smaller than I was expecting which was good because it is visible without being a big lump mounted on the wall, it has a small blue light which you can have on or off which lets people know it’s working and not a dummy camera , being a wireless camera it took 5 minutes to secure it to the wall with the screws and plugs provided and about 15 mins to upload the app and connect to the camera, picture quality is good and it has 2 way audio so can be used as an intercom, motion detection is good but mine missed sometimes because I fitted it in the wrong place, doh, should have read instruction booklet. Alerts come through to your phone quick and on a night time if someone walks past and is detected the light comes on and the night time records in colour, plus people know it’s working. The feature I like most is on a night you can set a timer so if motion is detected it will activate the light and siren together, or you can leave it off and when you get an alert on your phone and you look at it you can activate the light and siren from your phone which is great if you see someone messing with your car or front door, this records directly onto a sd card or you can pay for a cloud subscription, 1st week comes free with camera anyway, battery life, at the moment it’s been up a couple of weeks and we like the camera and we are always looking at all the alerts which uses the battery more also I extended the run time on recording so that uses more battery as well , we bought it with the solar panel which is not yet fitted as I am going to move the camera to a better position ( as in instruction booklet ) but overall we are pleased with our purchase and other users have said they get good response from I geek if things go wrong. Quality product.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI am extremely pleased with these cameras, and how easy they are to set up. Although I’m not an absolute novice when it comes to techy things, I am of the age where if things don’t go right and my grown up kids aren’t available to help (how do all younger people know intrinsically how tech stuff works???!) I can get a bit irritated. The set up assistance, via the app, is extremely easy to follow and meant I had a camera up and running within half an hour – after fully charging – but it did highlight my poor wifi signal, which limited where I could position the camera. I remedied this by installing a mesh system of 3 nodes to extend the wifi reach, and I am going to reposition the 1st camera and install the 2nd elsewhere on our property. This was not a fault of the camera, indeed it was great because the camera and app were easily able to highlight the best position (wifi coverage) and get the first camera running.

The app which you download to use the cameras is good, and being able to save the videos to the cloud is great. It is a paid for service but it is excellent value to know that even if the camera is stolen, the images are safe. Although if you put a memory card in and download images frequently you might not feel this is necessary.
The main drawback of the app is that it would be useful to have links to the various “Help” suggestions embedded in the answers – rather than saying, for example, “Check that all motion detection settings are enabled in the app.” it would be helpful for that to link to the place where you can do that.

Overall I am very pleased with the cameras. So pleased that I’ve bought a doorbell camera to complete my set-up, so I can move both cameras out to cover a wider area of our house. Living in the countryside used to be pretty safe but unfortunately rural thefts are rising and thankfully these cameras are both affordable and effective.

I heartily receommend these cameras and this company.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersMy son helped me install this. We mounted it on one of the corner stones looking down on the front door, and also taking in our driveway.
It was a ten minute job from start to finish. My son held it in place while I checked the angle on my phone. Once the angle looked good, he secured it to the wall using the supplied screws.
The phone app is super, super easy to install. The User Guide has one of the Q Code boxes with squiggly lines that you hover the phone over, and you just press OK a few times.
The app is very clear to use. No crazy sub menus. You can adjust the level of notifications that you receive. I found that the midpoint (5) worked best for me.
You can manually activate the camera, and it gives you a very clear live feed. With audio, which is also very clear. It is also very clear at night, and it has an LED light that comes on at night when the camera is activated.
Additionally, it records a few seconds any time that it is automatically activated. To the cloud, or onto a micro SD card that you can purchase separately. I bought a 128GB card on Amazon for about 16. This will store A LOT of video.
The camera is battery powered. I haven’t had the camera long so I don’t know for sure how long it lasts. The manual says roughly six months, and I see no reason why that would not be possible. The app keeps on eye on the battery level for you, much like your phone does for its internal battery.
All in all, I am very pleased with the camera. It comes in black or white. I went with white because our house is a light colour, and I didn’t want the first thing that the camera recorded to be me ringing the doorbell and pleading with my wife to let me in. 🙂
It’s a great little security camera. Great peace of mind. And it’s priced very reasonably.
I would recommend this camera to anybody who is looking for a waterproof security, with very clear picture quality, together with cloud and SD card storage.
