Absorbent and a great for travel
I found this great for out and about exercise or the gym as it takes up next to no space in your bag, super absorbent and dried fairly quick once home, this washes nicely and is a good size, comes in it’s own little pouch which makes it easier for travel, highly recommend
Great sports towel
I use it when going to the gym, and find it particularly useful for static cycling on the cycle machines where having a towel to hand is vital!
The microfibre material is highly absorbent yet the towel rolls up to a very compact size and comes with its own carry bag.
It’s very light, the towel feels nice to use, and I even like the colour I got (blue).
Recommended.

I like this sports towel. It’s a decent size and a lovely colour. It dries sweat and water quickly.

Great for gym bag
My son has regular practical sports sessions at college and with shower facilities not an option this has been great to help him have a quick freshen before coming home. It’s easy to store, absorbent enough for his needs and simple to wash, takes up no space and hangs dry quickly. Very compact and ideal for any situation when you need a hand size towel when out and about.
Compact but effective
This towel is perfect to soak up sweat at the gym. Slightly smaller than a regular hand towel so too small for the shower. Fits neatly into its little pouch when not needed. Doesn’t take up much room. Very well finished and comes with a useful loop to hang it by.
Very good gym towel
The illusion Small Microfibre Towel is a great sports towel to take to the gym.
The towel is a good size at 40cm by 80cm and fits nicely around my neck whilst also being small enough to fold up into the carry bag which is really handy and I like that it doesn’t take up much space and is lightweight so there’s always space in my bag for it.
The towel is made from microfibre and is very absorbant. It doesn’t take too long to dry though which is nice. It has a loop on one corner to hang it up if necessary which is a nice option to have.
I like that there are different colour options to choose from with this product and the grey is a lovely choice. This is a very good sports towel and so affordable to, I’d recommend it if you are looking for a gym towel.
Perfect gym towel
This is a really good gym towel, which is absorbent, lightweight and easy to clean. It is the perfect size and it comes in a travel bag which is very handy. Perfect for my hot yoga sessions.
Super small lightweight towel
This is very compact and will be useful for the Gym and when you go on a water-based excursion and just want something you can easily pat yourself dry with. I was recently on a couple of cruise excursions and didn’t want to carry a full towel with me, but this would have been ideal after the kayaking and the horse riding in the sea. Would easily fit in a handbag/small back pack. Seems well made and well presented and good quality. It will get a lot of use!
Lightweight and absorbe
I love microfibre towels and this one lives up to my expectations:

It’s a great hand towel size – good for a hair towel or for mopping sweat off in the gym. Bonus that it comes in lots of lovely colours. I like the very smooth finish of this towel. It is similar to a microfibre glass cleaning cloth with no texture to the surface which makes it good for using around grass or sand as they just brush right off and don’t get caught up on the pile. Recommend.
Good little towel
This is a good little microfibre towel, but make sure you read the description as it is very small.
Positives:

– I got this to use on my hair, as I’d read that microfibre towels can help with the frizz compared to a normal cotton towel. I washed my hair two days ago and it has definitely been less frizzy than normal, so it’s got my approval.
Negatives:
– Very small
– As is normal with microfibre towels, they are a bit odd to use. It’s best to dab dry (or squeeze on hair) as opposed to towelling/rubbing like you would with a normal towel.

This towel is small and comes in a little bag, it’s great for taking to the gym if you like to take a towel, these microfiber towels are lightweight and great for transporting. This is the first time I’ve use a microfiber towel, it does absorb well, although the towel then becomes very wet (that might sound really obvious, but what I mean is a standard towel take a lot of water before it become sodden).
That said, this isn’t to be used for swimming or anything (because of it’s size) so for the gym / exercise it’s very handy, and for 6.99 it’s a great price I think.
They come in various colours and can be folded up tiny to fit into your gym bag, or around the house for home workouts.
This Small Microfibre Sports Towel creates the illusion of a typical hand towel size, making it suitable for various uses. The material is not overly thin, striking a balance that allows for quick drying. I find it versatile enough to be utilized as a hand towel in my bathroom or for camping and travel purposes. While I appreciate this Microfiber towel, I am not accustomed to this particular texture when using it to wipe my face. Most of my towels are made of cotton fabric, and it is possible that others may also not prefer the feel of Microfiber.

A handy sized quality towel at sub £6.00
Our hobby is flat green bowls, and we always carry a microfibre towel (or chamois if its raining) with us onto the green. Whilst this towel is a little larger than we would normally use, it serves the purpose well of wiping sweaty hands and or head and neck during those long hours in the sunshine.
Being microfibre, it also absorbs a little water from the bowls if we get caught in a shower, and the added bonus of drying quickly also suits our application.
There is a small cloth ‘clip’ to open/close loop on one corner, which allows the towel to be clipped to your belt or waist loop if needed.
All up this is a nice sized towel that suits our use as much as it would in the gym or other sports.

I’ve never thought to look for a “gym towel” before and always used standard hand towels.

It folds up small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It has its own carry case (bonus!)
You can hang it up by the equipment you’re using.
For the me the best thing is the fact it’s microfibre and very fast drying!
I think it’s brilliant and will definitely get a couple more to alternate between washes.
Ideal as a gym towel or small towel for the pool.
I bought this for my husband to use as a sort of pool towel or as a gym towel. The colour is lovely and the little pouch makes packing it so much easier.
He has slghtly slopping eyes and sun cream and sweat on hot holidays combine and go in his eyes, making them sore, so he uses a small gym towel like dry his eyes after bathing them.
The colour is a rich navy, very posh.
Would advise washing it separately the first time and then this will be fine to go in with dark towels.
Great as a small stocking filler, if your loved ones need a new one. Giving practical presents they will use is so much better than Xmas tat!
Small but mighty!
Perfect addition to a gym bag, small and lightweight but performs really well.
Comes in a net bag and seems like it may not be very big, but when you unfold it you realise it is actually quite big enough for the task at hand, part of the reason it folds/rolls up so small is the texture and thickness, it is not that thick and that’s down to the texture being completely smooth, so no ‘knobbly’ bits like you find on a regular towel or even other microfibre type towels.
Dries up very fast too which is great.
Good value for an item that’ll last you a long while judging by the double-stitched seam around the border and nice quality imprinted logo on the surface.
Cools you dow
I love this gym towel, I sweat a lot and this is perfect because it also cools me down due to the material it is made from. Perfect size, not to big or small and comes with a cool little pouch you can put in your gym bag.
Great for wiping sweat off head and off gym equipme
This Illusion small gym towel is a nice size. Fits snuggly into my gym short pockets. Can wipe sweat from my face to prevent it from getting in my eyes. Also, just the right size to wipe down the equipment in the gym from other people’s sweat. Not big enough for drying after a shower. Currently on offer at 6.39 (at the time of review) is an okay price, but any higher and I would have deducted a star.

It’s a normal sized gym towel which is often used for wiping away sweat or for placing on equipment. This is not meant to be a towel used to dry off after showering from a workout.

Better than expected.
I was surprised how small this towel is, but impressed by drying ability.
It’s well made, neatly hemmed and very absorbent. The size makes it really easy to throw in your kit bag and even use it as a towel after a shower at a push. Really nicely produced and the material seems to be genuine microfibre, almost looking like chamois.
I like to keep my travel bag minimalistic, lightweight and compact. The wash-kit takes up about a third of my travel kit, so this compact towel really helps with that.
Small but good quality
This sports towel is much smaller than I envisaged and about the size of a tea towel but will easily fit in a pocket if necessary. Ideal for at the gym to wipe sweat off and keep equipment clean and dry. Quick drying and absorbent.
Small size but very effective
This microfibre towel is very compact and be packed very easily in the mesh bag. It dries really well but you have to do one limb at a time. It can air dry in 2 hours.
I am actually impressed with the efficacy of this towel due to the small size.
It can perform better in summer than in cold conditions.
Fine but small
This is a decent face towel but definitely not big enough to use as a body towel – it folds up well and comes with its own storage bag. Microfibre is a weird material to use – I find it better to pat dry than rub – but, if you can cope with it, then this is a great idea for travelling, camping, festivals etc.
Great towel
This towel comes in a travel bag that looks small upon first impressions. However, once you take it out, it is much larger than you expect and is a good size and well made.
Like other reviews here, I was expecting it to be thicker and have more of a microfibre feel. Instead, the material is more like that or a glass lens cleaner, only thicker. It looks more like the towels that professional divers use to dry themselves once they get out of the pool. This isn’t really an issue, just something I was surprised about.
The towel is great at absorbing moisture, which is impressive based on how thin it is. It is easy to wring out moisture if needs be, and then put it back into the bag it came with.
It washes well, and then dries quickly if left to hang out to dry.
Perfect for the gym, or even if you wish to dry a small spill.
Great and so portable!
Total honesty – when it first arrived I was shocked at how small the little carry bag was, I had expected something twice the size, but actually once I opened the drawstring and took out the towel – this thing opens out to a way bigger towel than you’d expect.
It’s not the classic microfibre towel with the shaggier feel, it’s more a tight knit and sleek one, bit it does do a great job at absorbing sweat and moisture, so with you able to roll or fold up so tiny it’s perfect to take with you on a run or to the gym, I’m really impressed!
