INNERSY Womens Menstrual Period Underwear Leakproof Pants Heavy Flow Extra Protection Cotton Knickers Pack of 3
I bought these for my partner as she was struggling with periods and she loves them and would happily buy them again. We also went and bought their more lightweight pants for before/after period. They’ve been long lasting, robust and they wash well.
I only got the memo about these recently. Great product that I cannot go without when I have my monthlys. I usually have heavy flow and unfortunately leaks however wearing these has reduced this greatly. I’m in my late 30s and wish I had been using these much sooner as I could have avoided sooo many unnecessary situations but hey it is what it is.
After having another look at the product description it does say to use with another absorbant option on heavy days. So in goes my cup!
They are really comfortable, though as a heavier woman (87kg with a mum tum) I would have loved them to go a little higher, ie over my belly button.
When I got these I expected a thicker insert, though I realise they must be for extended protection, or the last couple days where it’s a very, very light flow. Kept a hold of them for that reason, but I won’t buy them again as they’re not what I was looking for.
Also, I checked the otherside of the underwear to see how absorbent it is and I noticed no leaks/seeping through the fabric. I’m really pleased with this product.
If you’re thinking of buying these INSTEAD of the usual sanitary products, you’ll be disappointed. If you want them for extra protection, in addition to your usual sanitary wear, then I highly rate them.
Bought because I was curious about period pants and also whether a thicker gusset would help with sweat in summer time.
Pros:
-Size is as expected. They fit well, no riding up. Full coverage.
-Comfy and stretchy
Cons:
-I would never rely on these alone on a period, they’re only marginally thicker than normal pants. You can also sweat through them easily.
-Noise. Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but the fabric sewn into these to help them be ‘leak proof’ rustles a bit.
– Granny pants. Not that it matters much with period pants but these are big full briefs. I wouldn’t wear them with any low rise jeans.
Bought some of these for my grandaughter when she started her periods. Absolutely brilliant. No leakage, smell and no embarrassment at school for PE or when she plays football. I thought I’d try them for my leakages, at 76 have quite a few.
Actually seeing an incontinence nurse. These are so good I dont even notice if I “leak” a bit. Been wearing pads that sometimes were really heavy when I changed them. These pants hold so much I honestly thought there was nothing in them. I shall be buying more and ditching the pads. Why werent these around when I was a young girl. All we had was what we ” lovingly called “hammocks” thick cotton wool towels with a sanitary belt.
Been reading the questions and answers on here and quite frankly I find you don’t need to have pads as well even on her heaviest days and I dont need extra protection in my pants even though I do sometimes leak a lot. Never feels as if I’ve wet myself like when wearing pads
