Unit stopped working after 8 months but very helpful and efficient support service (sara) sorted things out very quickly, I would buy from this company again confident in their after sales service.
Great little Chainsaw
A great little chainsaw that’s light and easy to use. I was surprised how effective this was when trying to cut through some fairly thick bushes. so much easier than trying to cut by hand
Be careful of the kickback
Really good product. The battery life is really long, about 3 hours cutting time. Two supplied so plenty to do the job. Used it to cut down some thick dog roses with branches of 4 – 5cm thick (1.5 – 2″). It did kickback and cut my arm superficially but that was me not securing the piece before cutting. Able to cut logs for the fire too. All in all a really good product and useful to have.

The delivery was excellent, the chainsaw was exactly how is was described and presented in a handy carrying case. I have not had the chance to use it much as yet but initially i am very pleased with my puchase. It is a very good product, the supporting videos are very good and excellent post sales support. For the price I would recommend based on my limited use.
Great little bit of ki
This is a great little bit of kit. Ready to go out the box and packs quite the punch for an electric chainsaw. I used it to tackle an unruly hazel and it sawed through some thick (6-7 inches plus) branches like butter. Battery life is good, with x2 fully loaded batteries for plenty of sawing.

Fantastic Mini Chainsaw
So impressed with the JYGMPRO Mini Chainsaw. Find myself using it for so many tasks and have become far more pro-active in the garden. It is sturdy, safe to use and the battery life is extremely good. After purchase I contacted the service desk with a query. The response times and quality of advice were exceptional and I really couldn’t be more impressed.
Amazing little saw!
I can’t put into words how impressed I am with this little, 4 inch chainsaw. I was able to cut back quite a large tree, including some branches which should have been too large for it, but it just kept on going without any problem.
And the battery life was amazing! Most of what you see in the photo was cut with just a single battery used, the second battery being used afterwards just to chop the branches smaller.
Cleaning afterwards was simple, taking just a few seconds to remove the chain so it could be cleaned before behind refitted.
Great little saw.
I have been sawing wood with a bow saw for my log burner for years but finding it more difficult the older I get. I am 65. This little saw has made a huge difference to me. Its very good on branches etc 2″ thick and over but any thin wood it is not so easy. The chain seems to kick the wood and make it hard to hold so more care is needed on thin pieces unless you vice the wood that is. I would on the whole highly reccommend this item.
Good for price
Light and good quality. Can be used with one hand. Rounded the tops of two 6″6″ oak posts, it made light work of it. Battery never faded.
Unsure how reliable it will be so only gave it 4 stars.
Brilliant hand held cutting machine
I was very sceptical of this chainsaw, saw the reviews and thought it was the best of the bunch and I would give a try. Really pleased I went with it. I needed to cut down a 16 ft tree. This chainsaw made light work of it. Took all the heavy branches first to reduce the weight, then I cut through about 2ins from the end and let gravity do the rest. This is so light and easy to use. Really easy to clean and to adjust the chain. The battery power is excellect and easy to charge. A perfect tool to help clear up your garden after winter. All in an excellent buy with an added 2 year warranty in to the bargin. Superb!
Mini powerhouse
I bought this product as my old electric chainsaw’s motor burned out and I needed a lighter, more versatile machine. I’m really pleased with this purchase – it feels good in the hand – well balanced and sturdy. I used it to cut up some logs for my wood burner and, although not in the same league as a usual chainsaw, of course, it did a mighty fine job of cutting up some pretty hefty pieces. I like the idea of being given two rechargeable batteries also, along with a small bottle of chain oil to get me started, all at a good price. The only slight downside is that the chain can rattle against the plastic chain guard through vibration, especially as it loosens as it seems too close to the chain. I could just remove it, but as long as the chain is taught it’s not much of an issue.
I have had other mini chainsaws, but this one was more solid and easier to maintain. I didn’t have to keep tightening the chain like I did with a few others. That might be due to the smaller size, which I am a fan of.
If you’re looking for a compact saw that will go through branches, or maybe you want something to help you deconstruct an old shed, or decking, then this will be an invaluable thing to have!
It comes with two batteries which will each last you a couple of hours of frequent use. So there is more than enough power to get the odd job done without needing to recharge.
Keeping it maintained will also help the batteries last longer, as the saw will be doing less work with a well-oiled chain, free of obstructions.
I should also say that this saw is purely intended as a one hand tool, and there is nowhere to rest your off-hand, so be careful and try to resist the temptation to hold with both hands!
Overall, I highly recommend this saw and after also purchasing two of their drills off Amazon, I have come to trust Jygmpro as a brand that provides quality power tools for a good price. But I expect prices will rise as they become more popular.

Very handy tool
What can I say; it does the job ! The one I previously ordered kept cutting out, unlike this one which just kept going. The 8″ saw it harder to handle than a 6″ one, but on the plus size it has the capacity to do bigger job. Very pleased so far.

Excellent value
First impressions were WOW,. Sturdy case, extra chain, spare battery. The unit is light, but also feels robust. Hubby was dieing to use it but rain prohibited it for ten days. An apple tree that has grown wildly was tidied in three minutes with so little effort. The instructions are limited with Qr codes to get full instructions. We do not have a reader, so emailed customer services for help on when to oil the unit. The reply came back within two days, and was helpful and just what you expect from after sales care. Do register for extended warranty, easy to do. Very pleased with our purchase and especially as older; a useful tool to lighten the maintenance of our garden.
Does the job
It works well and I have cut down to a low level a Hawthorn hedge, some of the trunks were 6 inches or more. I started the job by hand and it was slow and hard work, by using this I have finished it now days earlier. It would be good if it had a pump for oiling the chain but it’s not a hassle.
very helpful customer service
I have only owned this a short while and unfortunately ran into a metal object whilst cutting wood. The chainsaw still works absolutely fine, but I was concerned I may have blunted the chain. I emailed the seller using the email I used for the guarantee registration and sara was most helpful and advised which replacement chain to order and even sent me a discount code to use. Someone I know cuts trees professionally and after using my chainsaw ,also asked me to order one for him, so he can use it for smaller branches.
A powerful mini chainsaw with two batteries and two chains provided.
My first use of this was to cut to the ground a tree stump of 5 and1/2 inches diameter. This little mini chainsaw did the job with ease although the manufacturer gives a limit of 5 inches in its descriptive information. Cutting off tree branches at a height of up to 6 feet is now very easy with this remarkable little tool. I recommended it to a friend who also purchased one and is equally impressed with its performance.
A brilliant piece of ki
I did lots of research before buying and this handheld chainsaw ticked all the boxes at a sensible and reasonable price. I wanted something lightweight and manoeuvrable in order to strip conifers from the bottom up, this is everything I had hoped it would be. It’s robust and easy to use though I did use secateurs for the smaller branches as it’s easier. The more I have used it the better I am at getting a clean cut. The battery life is impressive and there is an additional battery too. I highly recommend this product.

Absolutely love it. I wasn’t confident handling a full large chainsaw, but this little gadget has solved all the problems I had with the little trees in my garden. Goes through them with no issues. And the battery lasts enough, I got tired before the battery did.

I used the chainsaw for the first time since I received it a week ago and found it light and easy to use. It cut perfectly for my gardening needs with no problem at all. Very pleased with my purchase and would certainly recommend for relatively light gardening work.

A well equipped small saw obviously it can not tackle large logs but it is ok for smaller logs, it is well equipped in a box with charger, 2 batteries, spare chain, adjusting tools even a small oil bottle, I even had a choice of a free gift by contacting the company quoting my Amazon order numbe
Powerful and high build quality
Wasn’t even aware of this type of mini chainsaw until a few weeks ago. Bought this one based on reviews both on Amazon and on review websites, and safe to say I have not been let down. Lightweight and really well-balanced in the hand, but great cutting power. Have mainly cut branches around 3-5cm thick this far – I reckon it could cut a lot thicker but frankly it’d probably be safer to use a full-size chainsaw for that, as something like this which is one-handed does inevitably have some kickback, which would be more severe on thicker branches. Use it for what it’s designed for and you won’t be disappointed.
Amazingly versatile mini chain saw
Have to admit, I wasn’t sure this would be any good. Battery-driven mini chainsaw seemed to pushing things. But I have to say, it works extremely well. It is very lightweight and easy and conformable to hold. Instructions are easy to follow and the related you tube videos are also useful. I have been able to cut down some quite thick cedar tree branches. Make sure you read/watch the instructions for thick items ad there is a knack to how you use the saw. This was very helpful. With smaller, thinner branches, it was like a hot knife though butter and I found I could also use it to trim. Comes with 2 batteries that last a very long time and are interchangeable with other equipment and tools made by this company. I also have the drill which is excellent. The chain saw comes with a little tool kit and spare chain, chain oil and packs neatly into a plastic hard case for storage and travel. All in all, I’m very impressed with this unit and would recommend it, particularly if you have any dexterity issues as I have and find holding things difficult or, cannot hold heavy things for long.

We go caravaning with the family and this saw is superb addition to our outfit as we like sit by the fire every night. There is no need to purchas expensive logs on camp site instead you can prep wood your self and as much as you need. 2 batteries allowing you to continuous use with out stopping. I was looking for a small saw that would take the effort out of pruning jobs on the allotment and for cutting kindling. This seemed to fit the bill, it was competitively priced and delivery was swift. Although I have not used it in earnest yet, it looks well put together and has two batteries included and a sturdy carry case. I was also pleasantly surprised by the offer of a free gift and I chose a saw sharpening set. It arrived the next day!! Great service.

My 36 inch corded chainsaw scares me to death, so much that I hardly ever use it.

Jaw dropping! I didn’t know it has a carry case as well so it was nice surprise and it looks very neat. Also there are 2 batteries and a spare chain in the case as well. The chainsaw is very-very powerful. I easily cutted down even larger trees without issue. I didn’t charge the battery when it arrived just dropped it in the saw and started to cut down trees before the rain comes.
I used it for about 1.5-2 hours and the battery was still going on, so probably it lasts very long with full charge. Also because there are 2 batteries they can be swapped which is a nice addition. It has a white LED lamp on the front which i assume helps in darker places like in shades. The chainsaw is lightweight, easy to hold and handle, but still feels very sturdy.
I am seriously amazed by the quality, the power and the additions of this chainsaw for this price. The whole pack looks very high quality, i am very happy with it!

Never used a chainsaw in my life before this one. I was a bit scared of using chainsaws but this one is amazing and very safe.
It cuts through thick tree branches with ease and the battery last for ages. Saved my self a lot of money pruning small trees.
While I was using it I lost the nut plastic knob, my fault, but they sent me a free one the next day.

We have a few large bushes that were in serious need of cutting back and having tried using a manual saw without much success I searched on Google for ideas to make the job easier. The branches that needed cutting were not huge – about 3 – 4 cm thick – and I eventually settled on the idea of using a chainsaw. I looked on Amazon and was surprised to find mini chainsaws which seemed ideal for what I wanted although I have to admit that I was a little worried that a battery saw would not be powerful enough, but I researched you tube videos and decided to take the plunge and ordered this one based on the mostly good reviews. I have to say that I am pleased that I did buy it as it has proved to be an excellent tool. It’s lightweight, easy to operate, and made light work of cutting through the branches. It comes with 2 batteries but I only had to use one and after I’d finished there was still plenty of charge left. It does take a little getting used to because, as others have said, it can give a bit of a kick back. I did find that the chain needed tightening after using it for a while, but it’s quite easy to do and the instruction manual is easy to understand. I don’t know how long the chain will last, but you do get a spare and as I will only use the saw occasionally I would imagine that I won’t need to replace the chain for some time. It is important to keep the chain oiled and a small tube of oil is enclosed in the case. The case itself is small but sturdy and you do need a bit of patience to get the lid closed but that is a minor criticism. The chainsaw appears to be solidly built but, of course, time will tell as to its longevity. Overall this mini chainsaw has exceeded my expectations and I am glad that I bought it.
Ease of use and take anywhere
Well I was so surprised at this chain saw didn’t know what to expect. I was wrong this little powerhouse if a chain saw dealt with the logs so easy with little effect. It’s weight and balance was also good. Battery life was about 1.5 hrs of use depending on thickness of the wood. It was very easy to resemble and all tools provided. 2 batteries means you can go for hours and they charge quickly. All in with a nice hard case means take it everywhere you need. Small but powerful
This chainsaw is very easy to use because of its size and weight. The instructions on how to tighten or change the chain are extremely easy to follow. The little bag included with a spare chain, screwdriver and oil is a bonus. Having two batteries is great although the battery life is sufficient that I haven’t yet had to use both on one job. I have used this to saw a substantial limb from a tree as well as cutting logs and general woodwork jobs and it has performed superbly throughout. I highly recommend it for its ease of use especially if, like me, a full size chainsaw would be too heavy to manage.
Exceeded my expectations
This excellent piece of kit made short work of our 40 foot Apple tree that drastically needed pruning after 10 years of neglect. A project that would have taken days with loppers and a handsaw was completed in under two hours and I only needed to change the battery for the last 20 minutes.
The chain just needed tightening once during the job and this was a simple task.
The mini chainsaw cut through, 5–6 inch branches in seconds with complete control.
I only gave the chainsaw four stars for safety features because if you want to use it left-handed, it is tricky to the press safety switch whilst pulling the trigger. Apart from that, this is an exceptional product.
This little chainsaw 8* I like that is very light weight easy to use single handed, is very powerful which I did not expect, I use it to pruning my trees in garden and cut logs the performance is good will cut the tree branches with ease. The chainsaw looks like that is well made life of battery is better than I expected depending on the job you are doing I have completed the job in half an hour and still power left in the battery the tool comes in is own box well made with a spare chain a little oil bottle a screwdriver, 2 batteries, and a charger and also you get a belt clip, a very good manual easy to follow plain English and other languages. To replace the chain is a simple task you also have a diagram on the blade so you fit the chain in the right way. So far so good have to wait and see if the performance of the tool will last after a few use over all impressive only one thing I would say not happy is that the safety button position not adequate in order to push the starter switch at least in my hand I struggle to switch the machine on. Maybe I have short fingers but not a big issue I have registered for the two years warranty I got a quick response from SARA very good customers service. I would recommend this tool to anyone so I give 5 stars
After buying a fullsized chainsaw and not having much luck with it, I opted for this mini chainsaw and have not looked back. We’ve inherited a small piece of woodland so I use it for bringing down small to middlesized trees and then cutting them into logs. It’s a couple of inches longer than most of the other mini chainsaws I’ve seen which is nice. I am a complete beginners but the strength of the motor is great, the chains cut really well and you can buy new ones or a sharpening tool on line. It is super easy to take apart to change the chain, and oiling and tightening the chin is simple (Jygmpro provide some videos to help). When I contacted the company with a query, their response was prompt and helpful. Basically, it’s just lovely, I use it all the time and I’d recommend it.
As described
Used this saw on 100mm tree limbs to make it easier to transport before using a bigger electric chainsaw to cut to logs. Did the job albeit with a bit of stop and start having to re tighten the chain. The screw to tighten is made of soft steel and the head goes easily, should look at a better quality steel, only probably cost an extra penny or two. On the whole good value for the price and you get a two year warranty and free gift, which unlike most free gifts, is actually something useful.
I’m really pleased I bought this chainsaw! I’m a 60+ year old woman who has a lot of tree trunks & shrubs that need dealing with and thanks to this saw I’m doing it! If I had to use a manual saw I’d never be able to do the jobs that need doing, or I’d have to pay someone else to do it. I consider the saw has already paid for itself!
I bought myself a forest workers face shield and make sure to wear it when using heavy tools for safety.
It may be a small saw, but it must be treated with respect and taking some time to learn to use it is of course necessary. After a few tries I got the hang of it & even showed friends how easy it was to use.
It comes in a nice strong storage case to keep it well protected.

Quite a useful tool
The saw is a good tool for light pruning however after a short amount of time the motor over heats and won’t work. It’s ideal for short duration of light pruning. In my opinion it’s very under powered for a 21v tool.
Update: The seller has been in touch and has sent me a new motor unit for the saw, it seems to be working far better performing as I had hoped the saw would. I have only used it for a short duration today and I will write a further update in a few weeks time. The customer service has been great.
Further update having used the replacement saw for some time now it’s a really good tool my only complaint is that the batteries go from 3 green lights to flat with no in between indication.
I am pleasantly surprised by this little chainsaw, it is much more powerful than it’s small size would suggest.
Two batteries and a compact but robust carry case attracted me to this model and it does not disappoint.
I did a quick test by cutting a 70mm diameter Hazel branch and it breezed through with minimal pressure.
It has a comfortable handle, it is lightweight and well balanced. Arthritis is setting in in my old age so weight is an important consideration to avoid wrist pain, I could tell immediately that this was not going to be an issue and I feel confident that I will be able to use the saw for a good while before needing a rest.
The instructions and videos are comprehensive and easy to follow. Customer services staff are polite and efficient and registering the extended warranty was a simple exchange of emails.
The two year warranty is a welcome bonus, the price is very competitive and I consider this a good value purchase.
Update;
First proper use yesterday, I spent about 90 mins coppicing Apple and Bay trees, branches averaged 50mm diameter and still showing three green LEDs. Plenty of power and minimal ‘grabbing’ despite the wood being fresh, I am sure the saw only grabbed because I applied too much pressure – a rookie mistake which I soon corrected. Easy to clean too. Might try some wood carving with this next…
A really well made, quality hand-held chainsaw. It cuts through wood with seamless ease and has plenty of power for a little chain saw. You do have to be careful as when in use it does want to kick forward a little bit as the chain can snag and want to pull you forward so just keep that in mind and make sure you keep a firm grip of it. The 21v battery powers the motor which has plenty of torque and speed. As well as this, its very efficient meaning the battery doesn’t run out quickly. 2 Batteries are provided so while one is charging you can continue the work you are doing using the second battery. The set comes with a spare chain, a screwdriver to change the chain as well as some chain oil — all of which I was happy to see as it allowed me to begin the job at hand knowing I had everything I needed to get me started. The chainsaw itself has a light on it and the batteries have a “battery life indicator” button that allows you to see how much each battery has left. Everything comes in a compact carry case that means it can be neatly stored away with my other power tools. I have a few and this is one I will be using a lot through the summer months. I have used this to cut tree branches, pallet wood and some smaller logs ready for them to dry out over summer ready for winter.
It is extremely light weight and easy to use single handed, again, refer to my previous observation about it wanting to kick, but don’t allow that to put you off. Whilst stood up a ladder to cut back a fig tree it was simple to use. The chainsaw is turned on by pressing a safety button in first and then applying pressure to the trigger — much like the system used on many lawnmowers, so my husband tells me. Once the trigger is released the chainsaw immediately stops — a brilliant safety feature! there is also a guard over the top side of the blade to give extra protection from the spinning chain. I haven’t needed to replace the chain, yet, but it looks like it’ll be easy to do.
I recommend this bit of kit for DIYers who want to keep their garden tidy or needs something to cut wood for their wood burners. Amazing brushless chainsaw at a great price, good value for money, 25% off coupon helped me make up my mind on this purchase too!
After cutting back trees in my garden last year with a bow saw, I was left with a pile of branches to cut into smaller size to fit into my chiminea.
To make the job of chopping firewood and cutting back trees in future, easier, I decided that a small chainsaw would help me.
I saw this attractive saw on Amazon and as the 6″ version had such good reviews, I decided to upsize and buy the 8″ version.
It arrived quickly and well packaged. Out of the external packaging, the saw has a tough plastic storage case that neatly holds the saw and all of its accessories.
The convenient charge indicator integrated into the battery showed that both batteries were already fully charged, but just to be sure I put each on a top up charge. Within a few minutes the supplied battery charger, which includes a charge level indicator, was confirming that battery was indeed fully charged.
I was then able to use the saw immediately and, with appropriate safety precautions, I started to cut my pile of branches down into neat little lengths. The saw performed effortlessly and made for a quick and easy job. Due to it’s size, weight and design, it was really comfortable to use and didn’t result in tired and sore muscles that I have experienced when cutting wood in the past.
I noticed that the blade included a small picture of the blade direction to ensure easy and safe blade placement, I thought that this was a lovely and neat little touch of design that showed attention to detail.
Without doubt I am happy with this purchase and will be using this saw often in my garden, but also on DIY projects.
