I was skeptical especially with the price but even after the first wash it was a welcomed change and after a few washes I couldn’t see much dandruff at all. I recommend using the shampoo and conditioner (of the same brand) together as my hair feels great! Much better than the bollocks you buy in the supermarket.
My daughter, a hairdresser, first told me about this particular shampoo because I used to suffer from dandruff, I wash my hair twice each time I shower and my dandruff has definitely disappeared.
I’ve used it for about 3 years now and no complaints , you get what you pay for.
Used it because i have dandruff issues but it hasn’t helped me a lot in 2 washes may be need to use some more. The shampoo smells good has a light consistency. Bit pricey i feel overall not bad
I know Kerastase makes the difference, but this was better than expected. I had problems with dry scalp thag became itchy and red and after a few washes it is healed. 10 stars from me. I hope they keep this formula.
I still get dry scalp or dandruff even with such short hair so tried this and wow it makes a lot of difference.
I massage it into my scalp when showering and after cutting my hair and the dry skin has all but gone.
Unfortunately too expensive for me to use all the time but it’s my go too for when it’s worse than normal.
Little advise for all, when using shampoo – emulsify little amount in your hands, and use it first on the parts of scalp which are the most problematic. This way shampoo will survive longer 😉
He gets light dandruff and usually uses head and shoulders.
So comparing the two he says –
It’s slightly nicer to apply than H&S.
It cleanses the hair well.
Yes it keeps the dandruff away.
It makes his hair soft.
But-
Is it noticeably better than H&S? Not really.
And would he pay 4 times more for a shampoo? No.
Currently selling at 26.09 for 250ml (it’s gone down a bit since ordering).
So the star off is for the price.
The scent is a fruity floral, retaining some of that after washing to the extent that my kids comment on how my hair smells nice.
This is best used after the exfoliating scrub from the same range and again I have had no problem following that multi-product regime.
The cleaning effect is lovely, and the active ingredients (which I previously shied away from) didn’t make my scalp sore or itchy.
I think it has helped with the flaking but not totally removed the problem.
However; using the shampoo alone did leave my hair a bit rough to the touch after washing and drying it, so I do recommend getting a good conditioner to make up for the shampoo’s harsh feeling effect by adding more softness to hair, as well as reducing the frizz.
I like this shampoo.as it’s creme based hair feels moisturized which helps with the dandruff. I like that it’s sulphate free. Shampoo feels luxury which is reflected in the price.

I have had the chance to try out most of the products from Kerastase’s new line Symboise (excluding the oily shampoo treatment), which is a range of hair products that work against dandruff and hydrate the hair and scalp. I decided to try out the products from this line in order as shown in the product image so I could get the best results.
The second treatment in this line to use is the anti-dandruff shampoo treatment for dry skin. It is easy to apply on the hair and scalp and the smell of this shampoo is divine! The bottle is only 250ml for the current price of 27.15, unfortunately, I feel like this will be the first to run out and will drive a big cost if used regularly, so I am using it every other time I wash my hair (or less), this seems to still give great results though!
The results of a month of using these products together are amazing, my hair truly feels healthier, cleaner and softer. I have had issues with dry scalp and dandruff which went away pretty quickly but have also stayed away. Kerastase comes with a premium price tag, but the quality of the products is next to none it seems.
It is a luxury shampoo with a rich thick creamy texture and a mile pleasant scent.
I have suffered with a sensitive scalp for the last 30 years and have had to use all manner of shampoos to keep my scalp being covered in scabs, which is not a great look when your hair is thinning naturally!
I used to have a shampoo on prescription which was good for my scalp but was like a cross between marmite and tar in colour and consistency that I got on really well with (except the smell!) unfortunately it was a product that was withdrawn from sale many years ago.
This is every bit as good as that old product was, leaving my hair soft and my scalp clear as it has ever been and this smells so much better!
I only need a tiny amount to get loads of lather, enough to wash over my whole head, beard and shoulders!
I admit I am not enthusiastic about the price of this but I cant deny it is an excellent product!
