The shampoo of Krastase is quite good in general. It looks pretty good to me. It smells good. Anyway, we will test the product and revise the review if necessary.
Great against ichy and flaky scalp
I’ve tried so many products fighting against dandruff like symptoms such as flake scalp, ichiness, this product combined with the serum worked the most effectively so far. No signs of flakiness so far. I have been using for 2 months now. It works.
It really works!
I was skeptical especially with the price but even after the first wash it was a welcomed change and after a few washes I couldn’t see much dandruff at all. I recommend using the shampoo and conditioner (of the same brand) together as my hair feels great! Much better than the bollocks you buy in the supermarket.
Best shampoo for my hai
My daughter, a hairdresser, first told me about this particular shampoo because I used to suffer from dandruff, I wash my hair twice each time I shower and my dandruff has definitely disappeared.
I’ve used it for about 3 years now and no complaints , you get what you pay for.
Good shampoo bit expensive with the conditione
Used it because i have dandruff issues but it hasn’t helped me a lot in 2 washes may be need to use some more. The shampoo smells good has a light consistency. Bit pricey i feel overall not bad
Better than expected
I know Kerastase makes the difference, but this was better than expected. I had problems with dry scalp thag became itchy and red and after a few washes it is healed. 10 stars from me. I hope they keep this formula.
Since I could remember, I’ve suffered from dry scalp and it often gets worst when seasons change. It’s unsightly, those dry flakes on the scalp leading to flakes on the top. I’ve always felt embarrassed and have tried multiple shampoos, leave in, oils, but having purchased this shampoo, the scrub and conditioner and using all 3, I’m massively surprised at the difference it has made. From using the scalp scrub (same product line), to using this shampoo and to conditioner, the few things I’ve noted are – MUCH lesser hair fall when washing my hair, no flakes when drying the hair, no dry flakes on scalp AT ALL after hair is dried with the Dyson. NONE, whatsoever. The scent is can be describe as a light minty clinical clean mist. Ever so gentle and delightful. There is a very noticeable lift in my hair as well when I blow dry it and it looks really shiny and clean. Price is not an issue as long as my scalp is no longer flaky. I’ve touched areas where it’ll be “rough and bump” or “dry flakes visible to the eyes” and THERE’S NONE. This line is superb and I highly recommend it if you suffer from dry scalp.
Now I have no hair or should I say I shave my head with clippers.
I still get dry scalp or dandruff even with such short hair so tried this and wow it makes a lot of difference.
I massage it into my scalp when showering and after cutting my hair and the dry skin has all but gone.
Unfortunately too expensive for me to use all the time but it’s my go too for when it’s worse than normal.
I have been struggling with itchy, sensitive, flaky, tight scalp for a while until one day hairdresser used this series on me. I have never felt my skin being so relaxed and moisturised after one use. I was desperate enough to use medicated or ”natural” shampoos for people with egzema atopic skin etc, but none of the products felt so great for so long. My skin was so flaky that I couldn’t ware dark coloured clothing. Now, no issues. Shampoo combined with conditioner left my hair soft, moisturised, shiny. Ends feels healthy. Definitely something to highly recommend.
Little advise for all, when using shampoo – emulsify little amount in your hands, and use it first on the parts of scalp which are the most problematic. This way shampoo will survive longer 😉
My husband has been using this for about a month and a half.
He gets light dandruff and usually uses head and shoulders.
So comparing the two he says –
It’s slightly nicer to apply than H&S.
It cleanses the hair well.
Yes it keeps the dandruff away.
It makes his hair soft.
But-
Is it noticeably better than H&S? Not really.
And would he pay 4 times more for a shampoo? No.
Currently selling at 26.09 for 250ml (it’s gone down a bit since ordering).
So the star off is for the price.
As I suffer with a flaking scalp (psoriasis), I was pleased to find a range designed to help reduce that without making my scalp itch. Importantly it keeps the condition of my hair when I have long fine menopausal hair so can be prone to hair loss.
The scent is a fruity floral, retaining some of that after washing to the extent that my kids comment on how my hair smells nice.
This is best used after the exfoliating scrub from the same range and again I have had no problem following that multi-product regime.
The cleaning effect is lovely, and the active ingredients (which I previously shied away from) didn’t make my scalp sore or itchy.
I think it has helped with the flaking but not totally removed the problem.

Krastase is a brand I enjoy using. I love the way it smells and the quality of the products. Krastase is a brand that is dedicated to creating high quality hair care and styling products. I love that I don’t have to worry about the safety of the ingredients in the products because they are made with the best quality ingredients. I always feel like I am getting the best value for my money when I use the products.
With having sensitive, dry scalp, I need something that is gentle enough to use on my scalp. Krastase is a great option because it is a sulphate-free, silicone-free shampoo that is both gentle and nourishing. The shampoo has a thick consistency that makes applying it easy and it leaves my scalp feeling clean and moisturized. The shampoo is also designed for dandruff-prone scalp, which is perfect for me. I love this product because it is gentle, affordable and effective.
At first I tried the shampoo on it’s own without a conditioner to see what results it produces on its own; the liquid is quite watery, but foams into a rich lather quickly. The shampoo has a nice scent that makes me linger in the shower. Whilst my hair and scalp felt tingly fresh and my dandruff is all but gone after around a fortnight, whilst the lengths and ends are less frizzy and shiny. There are some really good bonus points to this shampoo too; not only does it give my hair a glossy finish, and has appeared to have had some prolonging anti-frizz effects on it too. My hair still feels fresh and clean for around two days after being washed, and if needs be I can go three days between washes.
However; using the shampoo alone did leave my hair a bit rough to the touch after washing and drying it, so I do recommend getting a good conditioner to make up for the shampoo’s harsh feeling effect by adding more softness to hair, as well as reducing the frizz.
Nice and soothing
I like this shampoo.as it’s creme based hair feels moisturized which helps with the dandruff. I like that it’s sulphate free. Shampoo feels luxury which is reflected in the price.

Great Moisturising Shampoo
I have had the chance to try out most of the products from Kerastase’s new line Symboise (excluding the oily shampoo treatment), which is a range of hair products that work against dandruff and hydrate the hair and scalp. I decided to try out the products from this line in order as shown in the product image so I could get the best results.
The second treatment in this line to use is the anti-dandruff shampoo treatment for dry skin. It is easy to apply on the hair and scalp and the smell of this shampoo is divine! The bottle is only 250ml for the current price of 27.15, unfortunately, I feel like this will be the first to run out and will drive a big cost if used regularly, so I am using it every other time I wash my hair (or less), this seems to still give great results though!
The results of a month of using these products together are amazing, my hair truly feels healthier, cleaner and softer. I have had issues with dry scalp and dandruff which went away pretty quickly but have also stayed away. Kerastase comes with a premium price tag, but the quality of the products is next to none it seems.
This is a shampoo made for people with very sensitive scalps and or dandruff.
It is a luxury shampoo with a rich thick creamy texture and a mile pleasant scent.
I have suffered with a sensitive scalp for the last 30 years and have had to use all manner of shampoos to keep my scalp being covered in scabs, which is not a great look when your hair is thinning naturally!
I used to have a shampoo on prescription which was good for my scalp but was like a cross between marmite and tar in colour and consistency that I got on really well with (except the smell!) unfortunately it was a product that was withdrawn from sale many years ago.
This is every bit as good as that old product was, leaving my hair soft and my scalp clear as it has ever been and this smells so much better!
I only need a tiny amount to get loads of lather, enough to wash over my whole head, beard and shoulders!
I admit I am not enthusiastic about the price of this but I cant deny it is an excellent product!

Expensive but probably worth it.
I have developed a small patch of dandruff which I have tried a few different products to deal with. This one actually seems to be working! Not only that but my hair feels smooth and shiny too. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, but you do get a fair sized bottle which should last a while as you don’t need much each time.
Lovely shampoo, but pricey
This is a very luxurious shampoo, it leaves our hair feeling great and very clean. The aroma is very pleasant too.
The only downside is the price, which at the time of writing is 27.15 for 250ml, I can’t find it in myself to justify this figure when there are other excellent shampoos at much more reasonable prices.
Gorgeous smell
For dry sensitive scalps, also prone to dandruff. I don’t have dandruff but I do have itchy scalp and don’t seem to have felt this since using this shampoo. It smells devine, like a branded perfume. The bottle is stylish too. At 23.99 I couldn’t justify spending that on a shampoo but each to their own. My hair has felt nice since using it but also full of static.
Leaves My Hair Soft, Clean And Shiny
I ordered this Krastase French brand Symboise anti dandruff shampoo to see if it could help with my patch of dry scalp that causes dandruff on my shoulders. I find regular anti dandruff shampoos too drying on my long natural grey hair. This luxurious creamy shampoo smells heavenly, with a fresh fruity scent, it foams up easily too, so only a small 10p size in my hand is enough to work through my long waist length hair. My scalp is not irritated by it and my dry scalp patch I’ve had for years does feel better, less itching and less dandruff. I’ve only recently been using this shampoo, I understand it takes 3 weeks to see full results, but so far I am impressed. It’s not a cheap shampoo, it is at the luxury end, but you don’t need much, so it should last me months.
