I was looking for replacement Land Rover Keys because my key was broken. If the electronics is still working but the case is broken this is a cheap and easy way of repairing your key fob. This saved me a hundred pounds at the dealership.

Good for the money
My original Land Rover fob cracked and I needed another quick. Land Rover wanted a fortune and this was my other option. But the fob worked perfect once I swapped over the internals easy to do just watched a short you tube video and that was done. The silver bit doesn’t fit as smooth as the original but you wouldn’t know the difference if I passed you the key.
Decent Replaceme
Bought as a replacement for a Jaguar XF key fob
Pros – Cheap, seems durable enough, fairly straight forward swap for original
Cons – Can not use the silver strip from original key fob & I have to slide the supplied silver strip up slightly for it to work

A bit of a faff
This does the job but is a bit of a faff to put together! Once put together works brilliantly.
Would I buy it again even though it was a faff?
Yes! Just wish they had made it easier to clip together.
Excellent replacement fob for my Evoque
When I first tried to clip the two sides together it did not fit. I noticed there are two black plastic bits sticking up on the button side of the fob, one to the left of the button at the bottom and one to the left just above the two top buttons, see photo. I clipped these of with a nail clippers and it clipped together perfectly. The original metal part which says Range Rover does not fit on this fob, you have to use the plain metal part that comes with the fob. Really happy I now have a key that isn’t falling to bits.
Excellent replacement cove
My LR key fobs basically fell to bits the rubber covers fell off both and couldn’t be fixed back on, garage wanted to completely replace both keys, and also re programme them for a small fortune, also means my car is in the garage for a day!
The case arrived as the entire body is plastic and buttons silicon no chance of the entire front falling off exposing the inside. It was a tad fiddly to swap over the innards but a good sharp bladed craft knife helped. Now I know how good these are I’m ordering a second one for my spare key fob (same issue!)
