Had an annoying piece of dust on the mirror on my Nikon D7500 and I couldn’t shift it no matter the number of attempts.

Bought this bad boy and shifted it almost immediately. Nice case to keep everything together too.

I was worried about my first sensor clean. I chose to start with a very old DSLR, the Nikon D100. I bought it second hand for a very low price, but with small apertures I could see several spots due to dirt that had accumulated on the CCD sensor. There was little to lose and a lot to gain. It took me four double-tipped swabs before I got it acceptably clean, but it was really quite easy. Just follow the instructions precisely.

I damaged the sensor with the first cleaning kit I bought, so last time I had it done professionally. However you lose the use of the camera for a few days (and it costs) so determining that my new mirrorless camera’s sensor was getting blemishes rather quickly I decided to give it a go again. This kit is excellent. The cleaning fluid worryingly says it is lens cleaner, but one drop on the wand, as per the video, and a considered swipe and return is easy to do. It then dried fast. NB if there were any real dust on the sensor this would cause it to get scratched, so you do need to dislodge this with a blower (the first kit had come with a gas canister venturi-style mini dust vacuum which I used to remove any physical particles). Keep the second wand end in the wrapper (I expect you’ll need to use it to complete the clean and you mustn’t accidently get it dusty) and place the one you are using back in the wrapper too. Make sure your lens and filter is dust free too or they’ll show up on your test shots (bright sky taken at infinity) and confuse your cleaning attempts. There are helpful other videos on YouTube.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFirst impression is nice pouch well secure made from decent material. Unclip the buckle and it rolls open and very well presented, after taking everythink out there is plenty of full frame swabs and only afew APC ones. There is plenty of cloths and a bottle of sensor cleaner that all fits nice into the pouch. Im made up with the overall stuff but with not having a full frame camera i gave all the full frame stuff away and refilled it with APC swabs and more cloths. Its worth buying if you have a full frame camera but its also worth buying and filling it up with APC stuff as the pouch and the material and how it packs away to next to nothing its also a must have for your camera bag. Well done K&F only thing is id ask for same no of APC swabs as full frame ones

This is an essential purchase to keep your camera operating as it should. No matter how careful you are at some point you WILL get some dust inside the camera and on the sensor when you change lenses. Please don’t try to remove it by blowing into the camera you will just add saliva onto the sensor as well, if you use a cloth you will just push it about and risk damaging the sensor to boot.
This kit comes with everything you need to remove the dust safely and keep your equipment to perfect condition. It’s all packed in a neat little case for you to keep it in the camera bag when you need it, I wouldn’t be without mine.
My only slight criticism is that it comes with cleaners for both Full Frame and Crop sensors I would have liked the option to have chosen just the one I needed as I don’t have both sorts of camera.

Great cleaning kit from a top gear maker. I already own 2 x knf nd filters and a knf tripod, so I was keen to see their cleaning kit.
It is designed for both apsc and full frame cameras although the split of sensor sticks is not 50 50. And for they I marked it 4 stars. There are more full frame sticks.
You can replace used bits separately and on the whole the kit is well thought out and well presented. Comes in a nice soft roll.
I think also I personally would have preferred the roll to be black with their logo embroidered on the front rather than the blue it comes in.
    But that’s my niggle.
Would defo reccomend at this price and if you’re looking for nd filters check them out too.

I dont know if there is any tool out there better for lens dust and debris removal than the bulb style air blower.
I use this weekly for blowing any loose dust and debris from my cameras, lenses, laptop etc and it does the job perfectly. You might think blowing with your mouth can do the same thing for free but BEWARE that can cause micro droplets of saliva to land on the camera sensor or lens which will cause severe damage. I would recommend this kit for anyone who has a camera regardless of professional or amateur.

The blower removes loose dust, the brush can move dust stuck in crevices without scratching and the lens pen polishes the clean surface nicely. Do not use the brush or lens pen on the camera sensor!!

Finally, it came with a nice polishing microfibre cloth. I use this for fingerprint removal or removing any residue that shows up on my gear. There is nothing special about this cloth but it is exactly what I needed and I am not asking for any more.

I’ve always considered sensor cleaning to be one of those jobs best left to the professionals but decided to bite the bullet and try this. Kit is simple and effective, sensors on both my cameras (Canon EOS7D and Fuji X-E1) cleaned with minimum fuss and no residue! One thing you will need though is a blower bulb which wasn’t included in the kit.

Did what it was needed for. My sensor was dirty and was starting to annoy me. The thought of sending off my camera to a specialist for cleaning and the possible cost was off putting. After watching a YouTube video on how to clean your camera sensor, it gave me the confidence that it was something I could do myself.
The process is pretty simple for my Nikon D7200. It took under 5 minutes to complete the process.
No more annoying spots on my photos.
    One happy customer.
