This is the second one I’ve bought, particularly useful for when I’m taking photos and I just feel more secure that I’m not going to drop my phone. A big selling point is that it doesn’t go all floppy after lots of usage.

Very good product, first one would have lasted even longer if I wasn’t constantly swinging my phone whilst holding the handle hence it fell off. I just bought another one

I don’t often write reviews and after recently upgrading to a max size phone I was struggling to use my phone with one hand enter the phone ring, completely changed the game! Would recommend, seems to be holding up so far but will update if any durability issues.

Great support ring, great adhesive holds the ring in place superbly. This is my second ring as my first one I had to throw away with my worn out phone cover.

This ring is very sturdy and looks very high quality. I was worried about it sticking to my matte phone case but it was no problem. The only issue is that its a finger print magnet but if you don’t mind that then it fine.

Coming from a very fussy person, take my word when I say buy this without hesitation. I received my delivery yesterday and I am very happy with the product. It is not magnetic. It has a very strong glue which I have stuck onto my phone case. There’s a see through film that goes first though. Instructions are easy to follow. I have no comment on the durability yet as it is new, but I am sure it will last a long time.

I’ve not used one of these before as normally have the pop socket so was not sure what to expect. I like it, I can move it around so phone can stand plus it’s comfortable to hold. Stuck well and feels sturdy

A perfect addition to my new phone and case. Love the additional stickers so if and when I want to remove the ring I can knowing that the new placement will be just as new. Great ring stand too. Pink Perfect.

This is so robust. It has never fallen off, it is as sturdy as the day it arrived, my autistic 3 year old has chewed the living daylights out of it and it only has minimal damage to the cosmetic side of it. It stays in the position i put it in still. I’ve had it for months now. I can’t rate this enough for how well it has withstood my destructive child, its impressive. Comes with spare sticky pads but I’ve not needed them

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI originally purchased one of these in Feb 2020, and three years later it’s still going strong, even though (as you can tell from the photo) it looks extremely rough and the finish has worn.

Part of the wear is the finish being eaten by the oils on my hands, and part of it is the fact it has been dropped and treated roughly.

This neither seems to effect comfort nor usage however, it doesn’t feel loose or any less comfortable to hold. It’s saved me from dropping my phone multiple times and makes it easy to hold above you without dropping your phone on your face. The ring itself is a decent size, I tend to slip my middle finger and ring finger through it to just below the knuckle. Larger hands may have to hold it differently (I have fairly small hands).

I did end up supergluing the ring to the case about a year in, however this was just to make sure the adhesive wouldn’t fail when I wasn’t expecting it and not because it was coming loose. It took force to remove from the case to do this so it likely could have lasted longer, though it was slightly lifting at the edges. It’s even gone through the washing machine and survived (sadly the phone attached to it didn’t…)

Make sure your phone case has been thoroughly cleaned and has no oils from your hands prior to application or the adhesive may not last as long. I found the best way to position it was to put my fingers through and see what position and orientation it felt natural to hold onto before applying it properly.

Overall for the cost it’s worth a go, even if it doesn’t last 3 years for everyone.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve bought quite a few of these for the past couple of phones I’ve owned. Frankly, I don’t feel safe pulling my phone out of my pocket without first looping a finger through the hoop. It has definitely saved me dropping my device on a number of occasions, and ensures I don’t drop my phone on my face while I’m horizontal. The kickstand feature is nice provided the ring still has the strength to hold the phone up.
Which segues into my first complaint: when you’re a heavy phone user like I am, this phone ring gets a lot of use. Over time, the hinges and bearings noteably lose a lot of their stability, until it basically swings around on my finger and loses all reliability. Needless to say when it reaches this point, it needs replaced.
The other issue with this product is that the double-sided glue is not strong enough to hold the ring to the phone for very long. I have bought a few of these for the same phone, and each time I have resigned to replacing the tape with superglue after a couple of weeks when I notice the tape starting to give. Thankfully I attach these rings to a phone case rather than directly onto my phone, and neither of these things are expensive to replace.
I feel these rings are much easier on my fingers to grip my phone with than a pop grip, and are much more low-profile when folded away too. I only wish they were sturdier and more resistant to wear and tear.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNever drop your phone again with the handy ring stand
So I bought this device for my iPhone XS- it’s early days but so far I really like it. I struggle with my hands & have days where the ability to hold the phone is a problem but since I got this I no longer worry as my finger sits nicely in the ring of the Lamicall Ring Stand and I know my phone is not going anywhere.

Set up was really easy and deciding where to place the first transparent disc was a case of holding the phone in the place you would use it most ie: if you are a texter where would you place your fingers – if you use it mainly for calls again where your hand would naturally grip the phone.
If all you want it for is to watch things then the middle is a logical place. Once you have done that carefully peel away backing & stick – then onto the Lamicall just peel away the 3M backing and align the 3M with the transparent sticker ( I placed mine in the middle of the transparent disc) and then stick ( just remember where the name is when sticking as once in place it’s not going to move – trust me!)

You have a handy envelope with extra 3M pads & transparent stickers – so your Lamicall can go from device to device – would recommend only sticking it to your cover not the phone ( if you don’t want your phone messed up) .My cover is an Otterbox one and it sticks beautifully.

I have seen other reviews where Ring Stands fall off or break away or the plating comes off – happy to say none of this has happened to mine. I picked the rose gold one & all plating is intact .
I am really impressed for the price and am enjoying the benefits that this little stand gives me – one final point to add is don’t forget to peel off the blue film covering your Lamicall disc , it’s best left till end but it’s a brilliant protection from fingerprints while you figure out where to place your ring stand

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI bought a very expensive case for a Samsung phone, on the basis that when the cover was shut you could throw it on the floor and the phone wouldn’t be damaged. I even saw a demonstration by the shop assistant. A few weeks later I went out and as I was taking a photograph I fell down some steps, the phone flew out of my hand, and it landed on some concrete. The screen shattered and my phone never worked again.

I’ve had two more phones since then, my wife and son have had three phones between them, and we’ve all immediately fitted these same “finger rings”. None of us have ever dropped a phone since. I’m not saying that if you had a bad fall you couldn’t still land badly and smash your hand to the floor, but the likelihood of your precious mobile being broken is lessened the minute you start using these.

They are very easy to fit, and I’ve yet to buy a case that they won’t adhere to so you can still put your phone into a cover if you want to. I imagine that the ones made of leather are out of the question, as are any that have a ridged back, but otherwise we’ve all got the rings to stick. You first of all peel off a clear round sticky circle and put it where you want the ring to go. I suggest that you have a “practice hold” first, because it isn’t always the case that the ring will need to be directly in the middle of the phone. Then when you’re happy and have fitted the plastic circle, you remove the backing from the sticky pad of the ring itself and plop it down. Press firmly and ideally wait a day before using it, although the truth is I never waited that long. I applied it before I went to bed and started using it when I got up. No problem.

The ring itself spins through 360 degrees, so you’ll always be able to get a comfortable position, and it’s pivoted so that you can use it as a stand for watching videos.

You get a few replacement pads, in case you ever buy a new case or a new phone and want to swap it across, although to be fair these are cheap enough and we’ve always bought new ones when needed.

I would never buy a phone and not fit one of these, not after my accident. It’s not worth the risk.
