Easy to use, not the greatest colour match, but good enough for small patches. Took a couple of applications to make a difference. Not a bad kit for the price, and does a good touch up job on small patches.
I bought this kit to repair some minor damage on my recliner. My cats love to stick their nails on the black lather and the appearance of it was not very good. Well, I can say that, with this kit, I was able to disguise the small cuts pretty well. I’m happy with the results.

For 16.99 you seem to get a really good selection of repair items. It includes a variation of leather dye, sponges, brush and base cloth. I also really like the addition of the mixing / storage pot. This is great if you have to reapply a day later without trying to get the exact colour again. Overall good piece of kit.
This kit is all you need to restore and repair dull, crack/rips/tears on your leather goods. Used it on car seat scratch and it was easy to use with the instructions. At 16.99 it’s a good value for money.
We did a bit of a patch test and was very happy with the results. Leather can be durable and a safe option to wipe down hut over time it does need tlc and can get scratched and tarnished from over cleaning etc. the colours are good think we may have made our attempt a bit dark but it definitely works and will take time to really get our leather back to a good condition.

You get all the elements that are needed to do some minor repairs. I definitely still need to practice and learn but once you have the skill, it will allow you to do all the changes and repairs. 5/5
This has 3 shades of brown plus black and white tubes of dye, 2 sponges, a cloth, a mixing pot, a spatula and a small brush. It has instructions with a colour chat which I’m not sure will be entirely useful as I’m pretty sure that mixing black and white will not give a medium brown so the rest might be wrong as well.
The kit is easy to use on suitable leathers. The dyes are easy to mix to try and get the right colour but to be certain of the final dry colour you would need to mix some, apply to a hidden area and let it dry before using in a exposed area.
They are aimed at small, under 1/4 inch repairs but you could obviously attempt anything with them. I did a test repair on a leather patch I had and it worked well. It covered up scratches and scuffs well, you couldn’t really tell it had been repaired.
Colour fastness is pretty good. After a couple of days drying it won’t transfer colour onto anything dry but I’m pretty sure that after you’re cleaned the leather a few times it will need reapplying but I’ve not done this yet so I might be wrong.
For around 17 this is very good for small repairs.

I decided to get my son-in-law a leather and vinyl repair kit with five different colors. He wanted to spruce up the leather seats in his Mercedes car, and this kit seemed like the perfect solution. I used this product to repair the black leather car seats in my vehicle. It works great. Just make sure to use several applications and take the time to achieve a good colour match. It also helps to watching tutorial videos online to learn how to use everything in the box.
Although a relatively small set of colours (this set is for brown, primarily), this product is pretty comprehensive with what it can achieve. The fact that you get a good selection of basic colours that can be mixed to create an infinite amount of shades is very good indeed. As a little of this product goes a long way, I can see this kit being useful for a good few years if stored properly.
I found this kit to be very easy to use in itself (a good selection of tools is provided, as well as instructions for use), although I did find it difficult to mix just the right shade for my 3 piece suite. However, that is down to me, the user, and after several trial mixes I managed to get the colour match to be fairly accurate. Be aware, that the appearance when dry is the true appearance, not necessarily the same as when the product is wet.
I fortunately did not need th repair any holes in my furniture, but it is good that a large piece of fabric is also supplied with the kit for such eventualities.
It is too early to say how hard wearing the repair on my furniture will be, but so far I am very happy with what has been achieved with this inexpensive kit. The manufacturer also does a kit with 12 basic colours which is only a little more expensive.

This arrives in a small plastic sealed full colour printed box measuring approx 18cm x 12cm x 4cm.
Inside the box you get 40ml tubes of Black, White, Tan, Walnut & Eelhoe (a fairly dark brown, described as chocolate in the instructions), each with applicator nozzle tips.
All can be mixed together to better colour match your particular item.
You also get instructions in English, German, French, Italian & Spanish, although the English instructions are both sides of an A4 sheet, while the others are half a side of A4, so not as comprehensive.
They read as if they have originally been written in another language first, then translated fairly well (but not brilliantly) into English.
Along with these, you get a small piece of bottom cloth (you put it behind larger holes you want to fill, under the original surface you are trying to repair so there is something between the filling of your sofa etc.. & the repair stuff.), a couple of application sponges, a very small lidded tub for mixing, a little brush & stirring spatula.
Repairs can take up to 48 hours (apply, leave 24 hours, reapply, leave another 24 hours for larger repairs) & the instructions are a little confusing about times, but I would stick to the max times even for small repairs rather than try to use things too soon & have repairs fail due to short cure times.
This is actually very straightforward to use (there is a product video showing you on the product page) & is great for small scratches.
I used it to repair some lightly damaged heels on a pair of white shoes which are now back to unblemished & it has worked very well.
Deeper repairs to holes will be less flexible than the leather/vinyl around them, so are probably best dealt with by a upholstery restorer.
This kit really does come with everything you’ll need to repair small defects in various items you may have.
I got it repair a small rip in my car seat, fortunately the seat is black so selecting the colour was straight forward with no mixing.
Took me around 20 minutes to do, that included cleaning and prepping the area first, reading the instruction and plucking up the courage to give it a go.
My partner has the flat upstairs from mine, he has a brown leather settee and I have a black one. We share a gorgeous dog who does like to scratch the settees on occasion before he lays down. While the leather is quite resilient we did have the odd mark. When I saw the colour selections in this kit I realised I could cover marks on both. It is easy to use, you get 5 different shades including a white which is great for mixing. You can use the shades on their own or you can mix them to get an exact shade. Being able to mix them is brilliant especially with my partners settee being an in between shade of brown, you even get a little tub included to mix in, it is reusable. You get a filler cloth for holes and tears, my partner’s settee did have a little rip so I gave the cloth a go, it was easy to use, it stays in place with the cream, no sewing necessary, they settee doesn’t have textured leather so it blended in well, I can see it because I know it is there. I think with larger tears you may have to glue the cloth in. A little goes a long way so we have plenty left for other repairs.
This will work well provided you thoroughly clean the surface prior to use and take plenty of time to mix as near perfect a colour as you can. The kit comes with a stirring rod, base cloth, brush, stirring jar and sponge. Simple repairs can be achieved without calling in a professional if you are careful. I would not recommend it for very large repairs which are going to get a lot of wear but for small jobs you can achieve a virtually invisible repair.
There is a clause in the packaging and amazon page that states ” Not suitable for leathers: absorbent leathers, suede leathers, lacquered leathers.” I’m not confident to say what all those are, but you might like to be sure. However it seems find for our vinyl sofa, and there is a very useful mixing chart to get the perfect match for your sofa or furniture. We probably will use this mainly in less obvious places, but it is an ideal kit toi have to hand in case of a small tear, before it becomes bigger. Good value and easy to use.
