Sturdy and plenty of room
Excellent bag, well made, very study and plenty of room for everything I need to take to work as a teacher. This includes my laptop, notebooks, packed lunch, two flasks and lots more. Would definitely recommend it.
Perfect!
I was a bit anxious buying this backpack since the lack of reviews isn’t ideal, however don’t let that put you off. This is one of Matein’s newest backpacks, released on April 2023 according to Amazon, and it’s definitely gotten improvements compared to the original Travel Laptop Backpack.
The capacity is surprisingly high, while it doesn’t say on the product itself I’d estimate it to be around 30L. The material used on the backpack itself is smooth and seemingly much more water resistant. The water proof pocket is nice, but I only see it being used for storing umbrellas or toiletries. It’s definitely too small to fit a coat or shoes which is a shame but definitely not a deal breaker.
The zips feel very responsive and smooth, didn’t have any issues with them jamming. They’re also easier to grab due to the ring design on them which is convenient. There isn’t a USB charging port on the outside unlike older backpacks, but there are internal pockets if you’d wish to charge your phone inside the bag itself. The water bottle holders are also elasticated so pretty much any flask can fit in them.
The colour of the backpack itself is quite vibrant and zips pop out even more. If you’re looking for sleek and plain then you might want to look for something else, however at the same time your bag is much less likely to be lost or stolen because it’s so noticeable. The anti theft pocket is also improved, with the zipper being hidden from view. Finally, the backpack straps are padded and feel comfortable to wear, and they can be adjusted too.
Overall a very solid backpack, and with a lifetime warranty in case something happens.
Very nice
I was surprised to see when it arrived that the colour was just as nice as in the picture. Very roomy, lots of pockets and not too big. Excellent packaging and arrived quickly.
Amazing quality, just really brigh
Huge storage and lots of pockets. It’s a very bright colour in person too. It fits my laptop and a a bunch of clothes and I feel safe cause I can lock it. Good quality fabric and it feels like it’ll last a long time
Excelle
This is my third Matein backpack and it’s as excellent as the other two. They are both still going and didn’t actually need replacing, it’s just that this one is slightly bigger so perfect for travelling, or in my case commuting to work.
It can easily fit my laptop (15.6″), charger, lunch box, 1L water bottle, coffee cup, notebook, and other random bits and pieces I always need – and there is still enough room without it feeling overpacked or tight. Colour is lovely light turquoise which goes with nearly every work outfit as well.
It’s also sturdy without feeling heavy and is waterproof too.
Wonderful product! I wish there were more colours
Well priced. Fast delivery. VERY BIG. And therefore you have to be careful not to make it too heavy. High quality materials. Perfect number of pockets. My MacBook Pro 15″ fits well, in fact there is plenty of space the colour is cheerful and feminine. Not my usual choice. I would have preferred neutral colours. I would strongly recommend this backpack. I have traveled with it and a baby and it turned up to be the best option. I can’t understand why there are not more reviews. In my view the colour is very beautiful but it doesn’t portrait business look as others do. If you are a practical person you will not regret it. 10 out of 10!
Great for travel as cabin bag
This backpack has plenty of pockets, I particularly like the one in the back to keep my wallet safe.
I normally use it for weekly shopping for heavy stuff as it is easier to carry and this can hold a lot, plenty of space inside.
Like the colour as well, mint green is one of my favourites, good zippers, never had an issues with them.
Can see this backpack perfect for travel as cabin bag, can easily organise all your personal stuff including a laptop/tablet as it has a dedicated space.
Can be washed in a washing machine so no extra fuss about this, comfortable to wear due to all the padding in the straps and the back.
Practical and comfortable, would definitely recommend.
Good bag for kids
We use this bag as our daughters PE bag for school. Is very convenience and has lots of pockets which is sometimes a negative as my daughter has a habit of hiding lots of things in it to take to school.
Overall I think it’s good value for money as it’s not too expensive and it’s quite a well-built backpack.

Superb quality and lots of storage space
My niece has been accepted for training as a nurse abroad. Her course will commence in the summer, and will include practical training in the hospital, as well as lessons in the university.
This very attractive, superb quality MATEIN Laptop Backpack will be an invaluable asset in her new environment. It has oodles of space for carrying everything she needs during her trying courses, and even its mint green colour is attractive.

Great quality
This bag is so convenient. It has many different pockets even has a pocket for wet items! It’s a good size big enough to fit a laptop. Good quality and zip is smooth so won’t break easily.
Strong and holds a lot.
With its main compartment, secondary external compartment, small compartment and an open topped pocket down the back it has all sorts of storage. It has a pocket inside to take a laptop, though my only gripe about that is that the layer separating it from other contents of that compartment is one thin piece of fabric, not padded at all. The back of the rucksack is padded so that offers support to the wearer and the laptop inside, but not internally padded.
Oh, and there are bottle pockets on both sides too!
Quality is pretty good, though I can’t vouch for how long it might last under load. Time will well in that regard, but should I find it failing and the stitching coming apart I’ll surely update here!
Overall a pretty well made and well thought out rucksack, with its pockets and compartments and the load bearing tensioning straps on the sides and bottom it makes for a good bag. Ideal for a trek, day out, work or school methinks.
From work to wanderlus
I am so thrilled with the features and functionality of this bag! As a working professional and frequent traveler, this backpack has made my life so much easier. The laptop compartment is spacious enough to fit my 15-inch laptop securely and the water- resistant material keeps all my belongings dry and protected, on those unexpected rainy days.
One of the things I love most about this backpack is its lightweight design, making it perfect for both everyday use and travel. The green colour is stylish and unique, which always catches my eye when I’m on the go.
This backpack also works well as a collage school bag, with plenty of room for books and supplies, and the comfortable padding on the back and straps makes it a pleasure to carry.
The drawstrings on the zippers is a very thoughtful details which makes it effortless to pull the zippers and no need to search where the zippers are hiding.
Now, for the one negative : the 2 ‘side release’ clips with belts on the bottom of the bag are non-functional. If the belts were just a few centimeters longer, they could have been perfect for carrying a yoga mat. However, due to their small size, I don’t see any use for them.
That being said, the overall quality and practicality of the MATEIN laptop backpack far outweigh this minor flaw. The backpack’s versatility for business travel, college, or daily use makes it a must -have for anyone on the go.
Very spacious, and a good size bag
This bag is brilliant. It’s a nice colour and has many compartments and pockets, and has plenty uses. Be it the gym, laptop bag/ mother & baby bag. The straps are nice and wide, so it will feel comfortable on your shoulders and the straps are adjustable. You also get a life time guarantee with this bag. It’s exceptional quality, and good value for money.
Strong and sturdy
The quality of the bag is excellent. It is bigger. Although, it says that this is also a women’s backpack, It easily holds multiple items so I would use it for a whole day. definitely during travel.
The straps are soft on the shoulder and adjustable in length. The bag can also be held in a single hand using the handle given or hanging it. Also, it has a horizontal strap on the back which helps to hang it with the cabin bag keeping my shoulders free.
It is a polyester bag. It has a waterproof compartment too. There are lots of compartments in this bag. One entire compartment for a laptop opens completely. Another big compartment holds most of the stuff. which also have some small compartments to keep the stuff.
It has two compartments on the front which are useful to keep keys and change and other small stuff while another one is for keeping small water bottles, pens, etc. Along with the main pocket, it has two small pockets on the side to hold the water bottle.
There is a hidden pocket on the backside which is useful to keep important documents like a passport, etc.
I have used these kinds of bags in the past and the problem with these bags is I can’t use them directly with the woolen material as it completely damages the cloth. I would prefer to use this bag with jackets on it.
This bag is very strong and sturdy and easily holds more than 10kg.

Brilliant backpack with so many hideaways
This is a nicely sized backpack, it has more zips, pockets and hideaways than can be reasonably expected for such a product, it has nicely padded carrying straps that are both big enough and comfortable enough for most relatively large people to carry and dependant on your opinions of product colour, could be suitable for men too.
I ordered this with the missus in mind, solely based on it’s colour and she absolutely loves it, however whilst my opinions haven’t changed with regard to the colour, the backpack is relatively large and very comfortable to wear utilising it’s padded straps even for an XXL fella like me.
The backpack incorporates a multitude of zips, pockets and other hideaways, in fact there’s just too may to list and it’s safe to say all bases are probably covered both internally and externally, speaking as a man it’s a shame it’s only available in this single colour as it’s just too clean for me to personally utilise, however if you’re a woman or a man who doesn’t mind the clean look it’s fantastic.
The intention was after all with the missus in mind, therefore i can’t really fault it.
Loads of space!
I love the colour of this bag, it’s absolutely gorgeous, but not in your face. It has so many compartments (18 in total) and can fit in loads of stuff. The laptop compartment can open out 180 degrees which makes access super easy, and it is also great for security checks. The backpack is water resistant and lightweight, and the mesh handles are well-padded for comfort. I also really like the water bottle/ umbrella pockets, as this means you don’t have to unzip the bag every time you want a drink. I think it’s good value and I can recommend it.
I removed one star just because the trim does make it look a little cheap. The bag itself is a solid 5 stats though.
