This netview 360 cctv is the best of the bunch in my opinion. We currently use all the netview cameras which are so easy to access from my phone. Easy to record previous footage with sd card inserted.
    10/10

Bought to setup in the garage to keep an eye on things. Good picture and working audio. Initial setup and configuration problems sorted out quickly with online help in the phone app. Excellent value, will definately be adding further cameras to my system for more coverage.

amera was straightforward to install, well at least for the nice chap who went up the ladder for me. It works well and the imiage is first rate. I will be getting another.

Good value camera. Best connected to ethernet as the wifi seems a bit insensitive. Netvue App is OK but really could do with a fast replay (x2, x4, x8 etc) of video recorded on the camera’s SD card. Motion detection is tricky to get just right. Night vision is good. The built in speaker for two way comms is a bit weak and the delay when speaking into the app to when it comes out of the speaker can be several seconds.

I’ve had the camera for a few months, but only working for days.
Camera seems to work OK, and tilt and pan (very jerky, not smooth) and record, but it was extremely difficult set up. instructions are poor and Tech Support was not responsive to my issues (instead asking me questions beyond where I had got to) and was very limited help with the live chat. I’ll know more once I’ve used it a while.. I finally got it set up myself after four or five hours of effort over many months. information on YouTube, and on the Internet was not particularly helpful. It’s a pretty good set up for the money. It’s a good camera. I would like to know how to turn off the infrared LEDs, but have not been able to find information on how to do it.

Great outdoor camera that will add extra security to my growing netvue family of cams. I have several indoor and another outdoor camera now in my garden. This one is for the front of my house.

App integration is good and you can easily switch between all cameras on your network. The SD card feature is also good for storing data locally if you don’t wish to subscribe to the cloud services. I like the ability to reset the camera from the app and format the SD card when setting up. Very user friendly. I had a bit of difficulty connecting the app to my network but after some webchat with Netvue I got it sorted. They are very responsive to questions, good to know if you ever need to problem solve an issue.

Light is powerful, very bright and effective. The 360 Rotation is impressive and responds well to app control.

Overall very happy with this addition to my security cam family.

I needed some coverage at the side of the house, this camera is perfect as I can easily set facing towards the road or the back garden. Motion detection in the app means I get a notification if anyone comes through the gate (I can turn off the road part so not to get constantly notified when cars go past). Picture quality is great especially at night, night vision quality was what impressed me the most.

Was easy to install, I took the power source through the wall by a plug inside the house and up the wall, I’ll get some trunking to make it less obvious. There was a guide sticker for where to drill the holes in the outside wall, which made life easier.

    Would definitely recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to install, great quality!

setting up the camera on a table first is a useful tip, the App leads you thru the process. At this point add the SD card if you are using one.
Splitting the camera from the bracket with two small screws made fixing the bracket on the wall very easy using the sticky backed template for a perfect guide.
the performance was good as expected an added bonus over my other Netvue cameras is the flood light. I tend to suffer with my Wifi and the thick walls of a 260 year old building, the Wifi has performed well.
Panning is good, image good for both day and night, as is the two way communication.
Motion detection and night vision good.

In all a good quality entry point camera.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great value camera that you will definitely be happy with. But it has some limitations that I hope can be rectified in future software updates. (I don’t know if they actually do software updates).
    But first some positives
    1. Clear image
    2. Very easy setup and install, I didn’t even read the instructions
    3. Simple to use App
    4. The hardware is perfectly fine. With some software improvements, it could be a 5-star camera
    5. Floodlight is a big positive
    6. Night mode is very clear
    Potential improvements:
    1. Make an option for PIR floodlight activation. PIR works for motion alerts, so why not also use it for other things?
    2. Make it possible to view the image via the website or on a desktop app. Currently, they only support mobile App
    3. On future models use less plastic packaging
    4. Allow an option on the app to have all cameras live at the same time, on the same screen
    5. Improve motion detection, so it doesn’t pick up rain and mist, especially in night Infrared mode

All in all, I am happy with the purchase and would buy a camera from this company again.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great camera for the price, but don't expect too much

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLikes:
    Low price
    Ease of installation
    Good WiFi connectivity
Reasonable 1:1 image resolution in both day and night mode
    Excellent floodlight facility
App has good features, more available under subscription

    Dislikes
    No Ethernet connection
On board MicroSD storage not behind a secure panel and can be subject to theft
Off device recording only available via Web subscription, not able to connect to own PDR storage
No integration with other cctv systems
Tilt and pan a bit clunky no smooth motor running, zoom is grainy and looses sharpness
Fitting of camera can be a bit awkward as the body gets in the way of the fixing screws

4.0 out of 5 stars Good entry level PTZ Camera for someone who wants basic functionality at a low price

I have personally purchased 2 NetVue cameras in the past and this one has been gifted for review.

Like my other two cameras (which are both indoor for spying on my cats), this one has great quality picture, nightvision, motion detection, records sound and allows speaking through the camera. They also come in at a great price point. This camera also comes with a very bright light which can be set on a timer or turned on all the time. (It’s advertised that the light comes on when motion is detected, but I’ve not been able to find the option on the app.)

It comes with an app which is a bit finnicky to set up at first, but very straightforward to use when it’s set up. You can view through the camera at any time and play back video from the app if you have an SD card installed. You can turn motion detection on and off, set it up so that it only detects motion in a specific part of the camera (handy if it overlooks a road, for example – you can exclude the road). There are some premium options like motion detection type (human only, for example) but I have never used the premium option. Cloud storage is premium only, but I’ve always gotten by with an SD card.

All in all, very worthwhile if you’re looking to add a bit of security to your home!

    Pros:
    – Very easy to set up
    – Great picture quality
    – Lots of adjustability / settings (eg. able to invert image to allow mounting flexibility)
    – Light feature is handy especially for use outside
    – App is very user friendly and easy to navigate

    Cons:
    – Rather bulky and does not blend in (although this could act as a deterrent)
    – Rather short power cable which limits places to mount the camera without use of an extensio

4.0 out of 5 stars Great quality outdoor camera

This was so easy to install. There is a template with a sticky back to enable you to drill the holes into the wall with ease. We fed the cable through the wall with little effort too because the cables are not bulky. The camera pans quickly with the app and has a good quality image in daylight and night vision. I put a sd memory card in to store footage which is also easy to access.
I’ve tried accessing the camera when away from home and have found it seemless. Very reassuring to know you can view the camera wherever you are with little effort.
Overall I’m really pleased with this camera. It does also have a feature where you can talk through camera (my sons have found this amusing!) useful for those deliveries when you are out.
    Very happy with my purchase.

This camera has replaced my old Netvue Vigil camera at the front of my house. The vigil was still going strong & will be moved elsewhere but I was intrigued by this updated version.
Setup was quick and simple, my husband installed camera without too much bother. Wi-Fi seemed strong & has been reliable with no drop outs from my dual band router.
The Netvue app needed is simple to use & minor adjustments (I.e. motion sensitivity, positioning etc) are easily adjusted.
The camera itself gives high quality pictures & video. Options for daylight mode or night vision during darker hours. I personally prefer the black & white night vision mode which appears much sharper, although the motion detection appears to be a little more sensitive, especially when raining.
All in all, I’m impressed by my upgrade. The ability to turn on the inbuilt security light (also available on a timer) & reposition the camera from within the app is a very convenient feature

The camera arrived next day, on opening the box there’s the camera a power lead and instructions, in the instructions is a template with a sticky back, this was really helpful when it came to attaching the camera to the wall as it’s a great guide for the holes, I set the camera up on the table as it was much easier than standing on the ladder doing it although setting up couldn’t be easier, you download the app and scan the QR code on the camera you’re then asked for your Wi-Fi password and your done
Once it’s up on the wall you control everything from the app, I found it best to add a memory card and subscribe to the netvue cloud it’s only 1:76 a month (other services are Available like human detection but these are extra,
The camera moves smoothly through 355 degrees left and right and 90 degrees up and down and the zoom is nice and clear.
Overall it’s a really good camera my only slight issue is the 5 min ‘cool down’ time between recording is a bit long but if you subscribe to the higher package this is shorte

5.0 out of 5 stars Great camera for the price

This is my second camera from netvue and for the price is far better than others I have had at double the price. Video quality Is very good for this price point and the night vision is superior to the old model (I had no problems with that) is as good as any other I have seen, as you can see in the photos.

Works seamlessly with Alexa and the ability to activate the light independently is a bonus

Setup is straight forward with the netvue app, only slight issue I had with this one over the last one I had was that the app kept telling me my Internet connection was 5ghz only and requires 2.4ghz to connect, although I found that just telling the app to connect to this one anyway worked fine and it then detected 2.4ghz.

If you are looking for a WiFi security camera, and it’s your first or you are upgrading an old one, this is deffinatly worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally impressed with this brand of cameras. They are really easy to install, set up and use. The pack comes with everything you need to get the camera up and running although I would suggest you purchase a SD Card. The camera can take a 128gb SD card and that should give you about a weeks worth of recordings. There is a cloud option but I prefer an SD Card.
The camera comes with a mount, screws and raw plugs and power supply. Once you have fixed the camera to where you want it to go, you can download the app and connect the camera to your wi-fi network. Set up only takes a few minutes and it is made easy by scanning of barcodes.
Once the camera is all set up, you can change all the settings and features via the app. You can have several cameras on the same app and they don’t even need to be at the same location or on the same wi-fi. I have the Sentry 3 at my front door and other models at my parents, aunties and grandmas house. I can view all cameras even though they are miles apart. The app allows you to name the camera, set motion alerts, two way communicate, watch live stream, watch recordings, turn the light on and a whole lot more.
The video is excellent both at day and at night, even without the light the night vision is crystal clear. The sound quality is also to a very high standard and the two way communicating is easy to understand. I’m really pleased with this camera, I especially like the built in light, the fact that you can move the position of the camera via the app and it’s small and discrete size.

Very easy to physically install, it did take some time to get onto WiFi but this was my fault. I’d changed some network settings and messed up my bands. As soon as I’d fixed to 2.4ghz bingo up and running. I’m using an SD card for capture and so far everything works great. Nice to be able to check on the app when you’re away from home, pan function works well in the app. To get all functions you do have to pay a subscription, but the basic features work without this, I.e. record and generic motion capture.

I’m impressed with the picture quality and these complement the other Netvue cameras I own. I’ve had some issues with the SD card on others but this seems stable. Overall for the money and piece of mind it’s worth it.

    * UPDATE Had the camera installed for a few weeks now, can’t really fault it at all, able to log in remotely last weekend when we were away without issue.

5.0 out of 5 stars Handy having movement to reposition the camera
