I had been looking at laptops after finding out I was being made redundant and I would need to hand back my works machine. I realised that I use my laptop with an external mouse, keyboard, and monitor so I didn’t really need a laptop for the time being. I started browsing mini computers and after comparing a few I liked this one due to it’s specs and price. I sent the link to it to a colleague who has a lot more knowledge of computers than I have and he said for my needs it was perfect. I ordered the computer and set it up last week and I couldn’t be happier with it. I would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a home computer for the purposes that I needed it for.

This small compact PC can truly fit anywhere. It’s amazing for me as a student. And I can use it for pretty much everything. It has amazing applications and it works super well with my existing setup.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing pc, worth every penny.

The amount of ram is great for video editing. The unit is quiet even under moderate load. I’ve tested the dual monitor hdmi output and it works flawlessly. I had to use the newest Linux kernel for all the hardware to work flawlessly but it was just a matter of using one of the latest versions of the main distros.

I was looking for something to upgrade my Raspberry Pi4. To run HomeAssistant on. Which i use heavily to automate almost everything around the home. The Pi5 was a good contender, but was costly once you factor in the SSD, case, fan PSU etc.
So, I thought about a NUC. May talk about using old NUCs for HAOS. Looking on Amazon I found this Gen12 MiniPC. 16Gig of RAM and 512GB SSD. For less than the Pi5 would cost me and be way overkill for running only HomeAssistant.
But wait, I have enough power to run virtualised HomeAssistant and run other things too. Such as internet filtering (AdGuard). Here came ProxMox, an open source virtual platform.
This Mini PC has plenty of power to run virtualised computers, as seen above, I have 2 running and not even making a scratch on resources this mini PC offers.
Build quality was good, its small and runs on a 12v PSU under 30W. Which opens the door to powering this from PoE 802.1at.
The unit is quiet, has all the connections I need, in particular Gb Ethernet, to connect into my home network.
Wifi 6 was a bonus, which I can use to create a sandbox Wifi environment for testing.
The device came pre installed with Windows, so before re-imaging with ProxMox, I booted up windows and copied off the licence key. As i will use this later to re-install Windows, but in a virtualised way.
Allowing this little PC to do way more than just windows.
    Happy customer.

Brilliant device for the price. Windows 11 pre installed, starts up very quickly and runs desktop apps seamlessly. Measures just 14x14x5cm, so it’s extremely portable. Even has an HDMI cable included, so all you need is a monitor/TV to connect to, a keyboard and mouse and you’re good to go.

I haven’t tried games on it as I bought it as an educational tool for my son. Due to its portability, price and performance with desktop apps, it excels in that area.

Product arrived fast and as described. The computer was easy to set up and works great with the latest version of Windows already loaded. The computer is very quiet in operation and is stable with no problems encountered. It has plenty of features for expansion and extra monitors etc. I would highly recommend this computer as it is as powerful as a full size desktop but in a small easy to use package.

Exceptional value and very well made. I purchased this as a home PC for general use. It’s super fast and attaches perfectly to the back of my display using the included mount. It’s quiet and much faster than I expected. It boots up in around 10 seconds.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter using a few old laptops I got feed up with waiting for windows 10 to stop using all the disk and all the memory and meantime being slow at everything I wanted to do. So I decide to buy this little fella. I am very pleased. I do not do gaming, I am mostly browsing and using Word and or Excel. I do have a IP Camera security Application that runs all the time (minimum 3 live camera feeds) and it does not seem to affect the performance at all. There are a couple of silly things that I would like it to be able to do. I would like to be able to turn off the lights (network connection and on/off light) but I cannot find a way to do this. The manual was more how to get it running rather than what you can do with it.

Update — I had a problem with a windows 11 update. After it had tried to apply the update it was stuck in the windows repair loop and I could not get it started. I used cmd command and found that there was a disk error/bad sectors and thought that I may have to buy a new SSD disk. But I loaded Ubuntu onto a usb stick and used it to clear the disk problem. So disk was okay but windows would still not go past the windows repair loop. I contacted the seller and they were very good. I was outside the warranty period but nonetheless they contacted me immediately and offered help. In the end I made a usb windows install media and installed windows all over again. That eventually fixed everything. The supplier gave me a Windows 11 licence key when I asked for one. I have this now just in case Windows decides to ask for a licence key at some stage. Oddly, when I was stuck in the repair loop, I got out an old laptop that I had not used for 3 months. It had a hard disk failure which was strange as it was working (slowly) when I put it away. I used the Ubuntu stick to check everything else was okay and after about 4 hours use, in Ubuntu, the hard drive suddenly started working again. I am currently scanning the drive as it has errors, but it and windows 10 are back working on it. And more strange is that another Windows 10 laptop of mine had a Windows update a few weeks earlier and afterwards Windows would not upload and that hard drive had failed. I think there is some corruption with a Windows 10 and Windows 11 update out there. So, if you have similar symptoms, run Ubuntu from a USB stick and use it to fix your disk errors before thinking you drive is toast and you have lost all the data on it.

So despite microsoft’s mess up I remain very happy with this mini pc. And I was very reassured that the seller replied to my messages, offered help and kept in touch whilst I worked around the problem microsoft created, even though I was well outside the warranty window.

Ideal for me as used in caravan so takes up no space you could mount it on the rear of your monitor set windows to start when you switch the power on and you will never need to do anything, Great little computer. It runs windows 11.

I was a bit wary of this offer with the Windows 11 pro included for the discounted price of just under 140 however I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike some of the reviews I had no problems with activating Windows when attached to my existing Microsoft account. Having loaded the VPN and antivirus though it became clear that the 8GB was not really going to be enough for doing anything memory intensive as the task manager indicated it was already using 6.7GB just sitting doing practically nothing. However that being said running

Onlyoffice and browsing and streaming media was perfectly satisfactory and since this what this PC is primarily going to be doing it is perfectly adequate.

The price on Amazon is now back up to 209 but even at that price I would say it is a relative bargain.

Do wish the power lead had been a little longer though.

The main selling point for me was that this little PC could run 3 displays at the same time and was the only one I found that could within my budget. I wanted to downsize from my huge ATX form factor PC while keeping all my displays so when I found this that ticked all the boxes I decided to give it a go. It was very easy to set up and had no problems with Windows 11 preinstalled. Having read another review I ran a full virus scan and malware scan and they reported the system was clean. I checked the recovery partition and there was nothing untoward in there that I could see.

My go-to operating system, however, is Linux and so after adding an SSD (which is easily done by removing a screw, sliding a catch, and lifting the lid off) I installed Linux Mint to it. The only problem I encountered under Linux was with the ethernet after a kernel update. Easily solved by reverting to the previous kernel version and subsequently was resolved in later kernel versions. That, however, is the nature of Linux in my experience and not a reflection on this PC.

I was able to get all my applications up and running and performance was excellent for my needs. I like to have my CCTV displayed on one of the monitors, however, decoding 7 high resolution streams really pushed the processor to its limits and was unable to keep up. That aside, I am very impressed with this mini PC. NiPoGi support is also excellent. I needed to contact them as I decided to give Windows another try and followed the reset pc to get back to a fresh start but encountered a problem. They responded very quickly to my query with a solution.

What a pleasure to have an almost silent working environment. I can definitely recommend this mini PC.

Use it for running Home Assistant with Linux/Docker, it is a lot more capable than a raspberry pi but doesn’t use much power – around 10 watts.
Got it on a lightning deal so great value for money.

I have been using my mini pc for about 3 days now and I also noticed the windows 11 activation key issue however I emailed support and they responded quickly with a new key which worked. Since then, it has worked for the past two nights as a media server and web browsing pc which is what I bought it for, so for that, I give it a thumbs up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe alder lake N95 12th generation Intel is a great E chip. Far superior to the celerons, N40xx and better than the N50xx series intel chips. At least it won’t slow to a crawl when doing updates. It has a much faster and responsive SATA drives compared to emmc. Not NVME, but if it brings down the cost. So I don’t mind that much.

Theres a lot going for it. First a few negatives to get out of the way. I did have an issue with windows 11 activation, but direct and fast communication to the supplier and tech via Amazon and whatsapp sorted me out with a product key which worked straightaway. Its a shame theres no usb c power input. The power adapter is rated at 12v 2.5A delivering 30w of power. I think this can be easily delivered by usb. But at this price I can’t really complain much.

The chipset does not support dual channel. But this appears to be a restriction on all alder lake mini pcs. Intel why!

Now onto the likes. It runs a genuine copy of win11 pro with no bloat. You can run win 10 or linux on it. If you do reinstall you need to download the Intel alder lake Chipset drivers from intel, there is one other missing gpio driver, but its none essential at the moment.

It has a VGA port!!! Not many of the other mini pc’s do. Saves me an adapter.

The SATA drives are easy to get to. However, to get to the m.2 sata needs removal of the stuck on stands to get to the screws at the bottom. But still relatively painless.

The single upgradable ram slot is just under the 2.5inch caddy.

    They provide vesa mounts.

The key is the alder lake chip. This fella can run everything you throw at it. It supports HW AVx codec. Not many previous generation chips do. This makes it a future proof media player. Try playing a AV1 coded youtube video or samples, you’ll see your cpu not struggle like other cpus.

AC wifi is dualband. Had slight hickup with it. But works fast now on 5ghz several rooms from the router.

Havent tried gaming yet. But after watching some youtube videos it will cope fine with old aaa games at lower resolution. N100 is better at this though.

It doesnt really run that hot and only gets warm when highly taxed. CPU temps around 50-60degs. Fan not particularly loud. Lots of vents.

To summarize, its not perfect. No mini pc is. I’m giving it a 4.6 but I will settle on a 5 as its fairer than a 4 star

Its great value for money, good for power savings, runs efficient and basically does what most people need it for. It’ll run Office and surfing no problem.

    Thank you

This tiny little PC is a brilliant little workhorse. I’m using it for surfing, streaming TV and office tasks and it whizzes along at speed.
I suspect if you tried to use it for a very power hungry application you may run in to problems, but MS Teams which is resource heavy works like a dream
Plenty of connectivity options and the internal SSD and RAM are very generous.
I had reason to call customer service (they provide a UK number on the case) and the service and support was excellent.
Finally, very easy to setup. I didn’t experience any of the problems some people are having.
    I would rate this 10/10.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is fast, easy to set up simple to connect and install. This Mini PC is awesome it’s quiet and operates without any problems. However saying that the one problem I did encounter was with the Windows 11 software, after completing the installation the computer re-started, the sign-in screen came up BUT I could not sign back into Windows nothing could get past the sign-in screen as the pin code or password that I had set initially could not be entered. So I tried a few tricks Ctrl/alt/del nothing, holding the shift key down at the same time as selecting re-start from the power option got me into troubleshooting, this worked but the selected action (F5) didn’t. SO what did I do, I decided to do a fresh install which can be gained through the latter function menu, as soon as the fresh install had been completed (make sure you do not delete the whole drive or you will lose your operating system (delete files only re-install Windows from this PC)) I made sure I downloaded the updates from Microsoft of which there were 11, this was something I didn’t do before restarting the PC the first install. After downloading the updates I re-started the PC WITHOUT entering a pin or password at the installation stage, the PC now starts without the above problem. I checked online with regard to the pin/password lock-screen issue and found it was a common issue with Windows 11. Other than that this is one fantastic bit of kit, it won’t be long before I ditch the kids’ Laptops and replace them with one of these Mini PC, this one especially because it does everything it states on the box and more. Highly recommend this Mini PC, go for it you won’t be sorry.

Exceeded my expectations. Well-built does as advertised. For what I use it for it is very fast not sure about multi-tasking or gaming I do not use either. Had an issue with activating Windows and contacted the China department via email on the packaging and solved it within one hour. I highly recommend this mini PC for most users it will do everything they need a pc to do.

I bought the NiPoGi Mini PC 8GB DDR4/128GB M.2 SATA SSD, ntel Celeron J4125 Processor for a sole purpose – to run a headless self-hosted remote desktop software application.
For this purpose it performs perfectly. The application makes low demands and this box doesn’t even break into a sweat when in use. For my specific use there was no other cost-effective solution if I wanted to run Windows 11. I could’ve hosted the app on Ubuntu on an ancient low spec PC, but this device is so small, consumes little power and discrete.
Setup was easy and fast too, the 128GB SSD is zippy and whilst small, is much more space than I need.
Just an observation – the case looks like brushed aluminium with a copper vent/heatsink. It is actually plastic, looks good and feels robust.
It is entirely silent in operation which would be ideal for TV streaming applications.
Hopefully this will last many years as replacing a faulty motherboard would effectively mean a new unit. If it lasts the 12 month guarantee, then the total cost of ownership (for my use) is affordable and justified.
I’m considering trying a higher spec device to see how it handles more demanding tasks, before making recommendations to friends and clients who have been impressed with what I’ve shown them.
It could provide a cheap solution to other apps too, the 3CX session border controller springs to mind, which is my next upgrade task.

I wanted to replace my old HP desktop with something smaller, cheaper, faster and more powerful and the NiPoGi is all of these things. It boots up in seconds, saves loads of space on my desk being only 15cm square,
has very fast solid state memory, contains a network card giving very slick webpage loading. Running Windows 11 Pro which is very easy to use. Connectivity is also very good with plenty of USB and HDMI sockets. I was also pleased it has a VGA port so I could connect my old monitor which doesn’t support HDMI.
This is altogether a very slick bit of kit. I am so pleased with it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought this on an Amazon Prime day to replace my aging 17″ HP envy Laptop. Had got a decent monitor a while ago and don’t travel much and didn’t want a a desktop as such.
Worked straight out of the after everything connected up. Good fast boot which is a real benefit. So quite compared to my struggling laptop. Power save mode is quick to wake up out of. Not a gamer as such but the ones I have, turn based stuff run no problem. Went for this company and item as it has option to fit upto a 2TB Sata drive. I will be fitting some storage in and connected to it. Have Half of my 256GB remaining after esentials added.
One of my reasons for this is travelling in my campervan, it can be stowed / hidden away and I will still be able to use it, not so grabbable as a laptop.

Bought this to replace a static laptop. I was amazed at the size and weight of the unit. It is superfast and boots really quickly. Although only 8GB ram, the CPU speed is 5400 which is amazing.
If required you ca change the 256GB SSD fro anything up to 2 TB.
I emailed technical support with a query and it was answered instantly so, fabulous technical support as well. I highly recommend this product and the manufacturer.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersReceived the NiPoGi Mini PC Windows 11 Pro, 12th Intel Alder Lake-95 (up to 3.4GHz) 8GB RAM 256GB as ordered and on time. Straight out of the box the PC is lightweight, easy to connect up, and very quite. Setting up Windows 11 Pro had one major problem – unable to activate due to no product key!

This should either be stored in the BIOS or on the motherboard but a quick internet search to find the correct way to locate the key confirmed it was not present on my machine.

I assume I’m just unlucky as I couldn’t find any other reviews from people who’d experience similar problems. Contacted seller but no response.

As this PC is covered by 30-day returns guarantee its going back which is a shame as this looks like a great little PC at a great price and was just what I was looking for.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought a couple of these originally just to use with my TV’s for streaming content as the Smart capabilities on my slight older TV’s isn’t great. I did however return one as plan to get the 16GB version as well and use this one for some retro gaming. 8GB is absolutely fine for windows but the extra memory useful for emulation.

Back to the machine, it’s simple, straightforward small box, good selection of ports as can be seen in the video, including a VGA which you don’t see so much these days but still useful as it provides an extra monitor capability for multi screen setups. Already loaded with Windows 11 you’re seconds away from using the system. Now it’s not cutting edge by any means so don’t expect to be playing the latest AAA blockbuster games on it but it does perform pretty decently for any general use, setting it up with apps to allow it to be the media supplier to the TV was simple, good picture, stable and it was more than capable of the task. Browsing, watching shows online , some lighter gaming (or retro gaming) all worked well and for the price a great little buy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have been paying attention to nipogi’s products for a long time. In the past, their main product was J4125, which was very cost-effective. Later, they released N5105 and N95. I bought one of each model and came back to test it. Recently released N95 series, the color and appearance continue their consistent simple industrial style, I like it very much.
In terms of performance, the performance of N95 is more than one level higher than that of N5105, the cache is increased from 4MB to 6MB, and the maximum turbo frequency is increased from 2.9GHz to 3.4GHz, which means that the running speed of the computer can be doubled at least, and the picture is smooth The speed has been greatly improved. When multiple tasks (web browsing, video viewing, document editing, PS) are opened at the same time, the screen will not drop frames.
This model has a total of 3 video output ports, 2 of which are HDMI, and one is VGA, which is very useful for those who need to handle multiple tasks at the same time. The USB interface is still designed with 2 USB 2.0/3.0 Type-A each.
It supports free expansion of 2.5 Inches SSD, and the maximum capacity can be expanded to 2TB, which is very suitable for those who like to modify their own computers.
The network connection also continues the previous Bluetooth 4.2, wifi 5, 2.4G/5G network automatic adaptation.
I will continue to pay attention to the NiPoGi brand, and I believe they can make a better original mini pc. I really recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersCons: the supplied HDMI cable is not up to streaming video. Wasted two days trying to fix the issue within settings and playing about with drivers. Swapped the HDMI cable and issue sorted. Why supply such a thin poor quality cable?
Secondly, the WiFi connects to router but always starts off by saying not connected to internet. This leads to having to disconnect and then reconnect. This was such a pain that I bought a USB WiFi dongle and that properly sorted the issue. But I wasn’t expecting the extra expense on a brand new unit.

The pros. Setup was easy and smooth. Adding internal 2.5″ HDD was a breeze. The unit is exceptionally light and small. Apart from the issues above it operates smoothly. I haven’t challenged it particularly using it mainly for streaming and viewing photos and videos from HDD/USB but it is responsive and has played everything I have thrown at it (once I swapped the HDMI cable). I have it going into my 65″ Samsung QLED 4k TV and it looks great.

Further Pro – customer service very responsive and helpful (note: they usually reply during the night). They offered and would have happily swapped my PC but once I had it set up with external WiFi adapter and different HDMI cable it worked a treat so I decided to stick with it.
