Not the first time i have purchased these gumshields for my rugby kids. I purchase once or twice a season. Easy to mould, last well and all round great buy.
100% Worth the Investme
My son took a full boot in the face in a tackle playing Rugby this week. He would have definitely lost a tooth or two if he wasn’t wearing this. Split lip and major swelling. Teeth ‘tingled a little’
Better than the rest!!
Got this for my daughter for a martial art tournament, tried so many others but they never fitted enough to hold in her mouth.
This one fitted in one attempt of moulding so would recommend trying it.
A step up from the silver version!
This may seem obvious but these are a good step up from the Silver version of the same gumshield. Feels a lot more sturdy in the mouth for rugby, and the setting process felt much better.

Bought this for our son’s rugby. He’s tried various mouthguards in the past, and so far this one seems to have been the most comfortable and straightforward to fit. It’s still early days, though, hence a 4 rather than 5 star rating. Make sure you read the instructions carefully beforehand, as they need to be followed accurately and you won’t have time to read them for the first time while fitting the guard!
Totally worth the extra money
My son is 5 so clearly mouthguard fitting was always going to be a bit of a challenge for both of us. We initially tried a well known rugby brand’s cheap and cheerful boil to fit version and it basically did nothing despite multiple remould attempts. It just flopped out and was uncomfortable. This was totally different. The video is incredibly clear and we got it spot on first time. The fins mean that it looks similar to a dentist moulded one so a more secure fit.
Fits grea
Follow the instructions carefully and these mouth guards fit really well. From previous experience it’s worth practicing several times to get the timing right, especially if you’re doing it with a younger child, and warn them it will feel quite hot but won’t do them any harm. This time I got a great fit for my 9 year old. Much better than other cheaper ones.
Note that this gold level is indistinguishable from the more expensive opro one we got last time, no need to spend more.
The Fit and comfort.
Got this for my 14 yr old son who does taekwondo and has just started boxing as well. He recently had braces and needed a new mouth guard, talked to a few people and they highly recommend Opro.
He said the instructions were easy to follow, and having the cage to help fit it really helped.
We will be buying again when needed!

I bought this one has had bought a different make and the other one was useless as it didn’t stay in so this was perfect.

Only note is when taking guard out of boiling water be careful not to smush top as its very easily moulded by fingers or spoons if handled wrong.
Amazing
Great product absolute amazing quality love the cage they offer with it so much easier to mould which i found hard with other mouth guards. No random plastic bits at the front so when moulded they can cut your inner mouth unlike some competitors. Worked wonders in my MMA debut figh
Great protection, easy to mould and comfortable to wear.
I use this for Boxing/Kickboxing sparring.
It is easy to mould to fit, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Once moulded the material is comfortable to wear and seems to offer good protection. I always go for Opro mouthguards for myself and the rest of the family as we all box/kickbox and they do seem to be very good.
I purchased this for my son who has just started playing rugby at school. There were so many mouthguards on the market it’s hard to know which one to choose. I purchased this one and one from a well known sports shop. This by far was the better purchase – easy to use from a parents perspective (in terms of helping with the moulding and understanding instructions) and comfortable to wear for my son. It stays in place and he’s pleased he can choose from a number of colours! This is far superior to other brands and the other parents seem to agree! Highly recommend
