All in all it is pretty amazing. We didn’t just use it for Mad Hair Day. We use it for parties,having fun and it’s very cool that they can be used on face/skin as well. No irritation all perfect!
We absolutely love these hair chalks! Both my daughter and son use them every chance they get! With them both having blonde hair the colours come out bright and they look great mixed together! Everyone who sees their hair asks which product we used so we recommend these hair chalks frequently! They wash out perfectly too! Will be buying way more!!

Amazing product. Went on my kids hair (dark blonde/light brown) very vividly and removed easily with just water. The red even came out of a white tshirt with no stain. Very impressed.
Brought form my daughters birthday – a little tricky to begin with till I realised it was easier to lay the pen on its side for coverage . Colour is good . Makes hair a little matted I found – not soft . Perfect to have a little fun with though

Brought for wild hair day at daughters school. This item worked well in her and my brown hair. Only colours that weren’t that visible was the yellow and silver. Also used as face paint and this has worked well. Washed off hair and face perfectly fine.

Easy to use hair chalks that wash out easily
I bought these for wacky hair day for comic relief. They arrived quickly, great price. Easy for both my children age 5 and 9 to use. Looked great. Washed out easily in the shower later that day!

As usual the school suprise us with a “break the rules” day so immediately I turn to amazon for help!
These arrived quickly and well packaged.
They’re easy to hold and twist able so no sharpening or fiddling about.
The colours are actually impressive. My daughter has dark blonde hair but other chalks have been highly disappointing.
These were vibrant (apart from the silver but that’s fine)
Brushed through and finished with a quick blow dry.

Great hair chalks. Would definitely recommend. These worked really well on my kids hair they are mid to light brown and the chalks showed up really well. They also last ages on the hair.

I brought these for my daughter who wanted colourful hair. They aren’t the easiest to use, I had to lay her hair on a table to get the colour to go on. But once on the colours were okay, some more vibrant then others. Cheap and cheerful made my daughter happy!
I’ve been wanting to try coloured hair for a while but didn’t want to do anything permanent or use harsh chemicals.
Given this is a product for children and can be used as face paints I decided this was probably my safest bet.
I washed my hair and partly dried it and then I used the two pink chalks (they are more like crayons) to colour in my white bits. I also tried on my lighter bits of hair.
I used a hot hairdryer to ‘set’ and then used a hot hair brush.
It seems to be fairly securely fixed on to my hair – I’ve rubbed it hard and nothing came off.
I am now looking forward to trying some of the more outrageous colours.
Great for mixed race hai
Bought for my children who are mixed race so have dark, thick hair. The colours showed up well. Loved the fact it at the guide on the packaging to indicate what colours work well with each hair colour. Relatively easy to use, just took awhile as daughter has a lot of hair!! Will buy again.
Definitely works
I bought these for adults to use for a fancy dress 80’s party and wanted to colour our hair. This had the best reviews and I can honestly say it worked brilliant on our hair. We were so pleased and our hair looked fantastic getting loads of compliments. We didn’t want to wash out as loved the colours so much in our hair but when we did wash our hair it washed out with no problems. If looking to colour your hair then recommend this product.

Easy to use. Washes out at end of the day. Only tested out small section so not sure on value for money as not sure how long will last. However, I would buy again.
Good face and body paint!
It was really hard to apply to hair. We hardly noticed any colour change. It was good to use as face and body paint though and easy to wipe off!

My daughter loved hair color chalks. She had lots of fun with her cousin.
Its supper easy to use, no foul smell, no mess.
She has dark black hair so some colors were difficult to be seen when applied. But still she was happy with shades.
Washes off easily as well. Very happy little girl.

My son wanted crazy hair the day and this was the result
He was very exited and happy and we had a good giggle doing it.
It goes on easily though I did get bke hands. Not an issue however as it washed out seriously easily. No transference to clothes and it washed out that night with one shampoo.
Since this photo was taken we’ve done lots of other designs and I’ve let him loose on my hair too.
My 3 year old nephew loved having his face painted with them, again washed out really easily.

Lovely colours but Not very bright on dark hair.
Shows up lovely on lighter hair but struggled with my daughters dark hair although the bright colours showed up better than most. Helps if hair is tied up to get it on the hair. We are happy enough though.
I used these on my daughters damp hair and dried it with the hair dryer. We only did the top layer as she wanted her hair down and they worked fine, I held a piece of cardboard under the layer to be coloured and held her hair against it to make life easier. Worked well for the 1st attempt and daughter was pleased. She slept on a towel to prevent transfer to bedding and the towel was clean in the morning. When washing it out I used shampoo twice then conditioner and all was back to normal.
Pretty
The chalks worked fairly well, the colours are bright and vibrant. They are a bit like lipstick, if you press too hard they break. But easily melted back together with a blast from the hairdryer.

Only used once so far but colours did show quite well after only very quick application to mousy blonde hair.
Think with more effort you’d get a good result. Gradually faded over few days. Did make hair feel dry/dirty and bit knotty to brush.
You won’t be disappointed
I have used hair chalks for a number of years on my children’s hair for a bit of fun for them. These are by far the best I have used. They go on really easily and show up quite brightly on my brown haired kiddies. Very easy to wash out and don’t leave that normal chalky residue in the hair. I also tried them out as face paints. We love them. They are so easy to use and also easy to blend together to get great effects. Very highly recommended
My daughter has used hers twice on her and my hair so far, she loves them very easy to put on and just wash with normal shampoo and it all come out. Her hair is dark brown where mine is light brown so the colours where harder to see in her hair and needed going over several times inorder to see them but she was happy with the results.
Great for dress up
Little girl loved these, lots of lovely colours to choose from and mix and may h to make great effects. The texture is sticky rather than chalky so a hair dryer is needed to set.
They wash off skin really well which is great so no worrying if the kids get them out on a Sunday morning and have school the next day…..no scrubbing required just wash as usual
My daughter has mousey brown coloured hair and I must of bought every hair chalk around including sprays, chalks, direct colour etc and none of them show up on her hair very well. So I bought these expecting the same however they DO work! The colours are lovely and the mix of normal colours and metallic ones give a good choice. My daughter was happy with them.
If I had to give a negative, it would be that they make the hair look a little wet but most hair chalks do.
I’d buy them again.

These chalks worked extremely well on my daughters hair( who is blonde )
They go on very smoothly and easily !
It did take some time to cover her whole head but she was very happy with the result. These are perfect for special occasions or just to have abit of fun with .
The only thing you need to be careful of is to not let the hair rub on any other material as it will transfer.
The colour washed out very easily with shampoo and water so not sure how it would hold up if it rained but all in all they were great value and fun !!

Really happy with these hair chalks. My daughter has 4c hair and as u can see from pics the colours are vibrant. She was so excited when she realised what they were for. She is 4 so it ended up being makeup too. Washed off super easy, even off my yellow towel that my daughter turned blue after trying to wash and dry herself after being a smurf ie coloured herself blue
The packaging was bright and colourful. The pens are great quality, thick and sturdy and the lids are quite safe for mischievous toddlers. If you follow the instructions before diving in there then these work very well on hair. My daughters have blonde hair so the colours took very well. They were also very easy to wash out.
They also used them for ‘makeup’ and it again washed of the skin with no problems at all. No adverse reactions to the chalks. Really pleased with the product and would recommend.
I tried these hair chalk pens on my daughter and she was really happy with the result. The pens were easy to use and the colours were brighter than we’d hoped for. We followed the instructions step by step and we also used some on her face too. I was worried that it might be hard to wash out but it came out instantly. My daughter can’t wait to try out different patterns with it. Highly recommend
At first I was a little worried about putting this on Cherry’s hair but reading the instructions it was clearly stated that it was washable and non toxic.
The pens was super easy to use although I would say if your child has long thick hair like Cherry then allow extra time.
I had no problems washing the colour out of my daughters hair so would really recommend these for the school holidays for a bit of fun!
You can also use these chalk pens on the face too, which we can’t wait to try out! Will be perfect for sleepovers or events like Halloween etc.
