Owning a sensor-operated, rechargeable cat water fountain has been a transformative experience for both me and my feline companion. Gone are the days of refilling a water bowl constantly and nagging my cat to drink. The fresh, flowing water from the fountain continuously entices my cat to hydrate, promoting better urinary health. The rechargeable feature eliminates the need for pesky cords, and the sensor ensures the fountain only operates when my cat approaches, extending battery life. While frequent filter changes can add up, the overall benefits far outweigh this minor inconvenience. This fountain is an excellent purchase for any cat owner seeking a stress-free and healthy hydration solution for their furry friend.
UPDATE
The seller has contacted me and is sending out a new water fountain, awesome customer service nice to see a seller that takes care of its customers
My cats absolutely loved this fountain but
unfortunately it has stopped working after 4 months.
Update: The seller contacted me to inform that as the fountain was still under warranty that a replacement would be sent.
Really pleased with this service and the replacement keeps the animals happy as they were missing the fountain!
Initially was pleased this cat water fountain.
The sensor went off whenever anyone/thing went near it so chose the interval fountain which pumps every 15 minutes, this was perfect.
The noise is pretty quiet.
Kittens enjoyed the fresh/filtered water much more than their previous water bowl, the fountain holds a good amount of water and therefore didn’t need filling up too often. Red light shows if it needs filling.
The charge easily lasts 14+ days (more like 4 weeks) which is reassuring for holidays and helps in a busy household.
Couple of downsides:
One of my kittens likes to flip the metal tray out of the top which means water goes everywhere – clearly an issue with the cat rather than the fountain but it would be good if the design prevented the cat from doing this.
After 6 months the pump has stopped working. The lights are still on to show when the pump should be pumping and if the water is low however water is not being sent up to the metal tray and therefore no longer any use. I had expected it to last longer than 6 months so quite disappointing.
Being a Ragdoll breeder, I have tried many before but been disappointed, and kittens also pull cords out,, The kittens went straight to drinking from this. No cords and not such a pain to clean and change filters. Will be buying more
My cats love this water fountain. I love it because it holds a large amount of water and having it on motion sensor means the charge lasts weeks. Recommended to friends with cats, awesome.
Can not recommend this enough. For years my cat has stood in the bath or sink a yowled at me when he wanted a drink. We’ve had the plug in fountains in the past but they always get dirty and feel like a waste of electric to have them running all the time. This is great, my cat walks up to it and he gets running water. He also can’t dip his feet in it and splash it everywhere which is an extra bonus!
EDIT: It was great for just over a month but it’s suddenly stopped working. A complete waste of money
I originally reviewed the above but then they immediately rectified after this review. Sending a new one out, it’s been working now for around 3 months no problems. If it continues working then this is a great purchase but it’s also good to know that they will respond and try to rectify if I do encounter any problems.
I would not even like to think how much I’ve spent on water fountains for our 2 cats. Currently have one kitten who just loves to bounce into the fountain on his front paws with the ensuing splash of anything within a metre.
Better still he’s now worked out that he can get the metal top away from the rest of the fountain again with the spray against the wall and onto the carpet – hah!! access to eve more water. So the paw can go around the back of the filter and pull (the heavy) unit out to the centre of the room.
Solution, put the whole thing on a feeding mat? er no, water now running everywhere and soaking the carpet.
Solution, put the whole unit onto a tray. Come down in the morning to find he can now move the unit and the tray combined – even more water everywhere.
Solution, use tape to secure the lid of the fountain to the body of the fountain. Well, worked well at first but now managing to still move the whole unit away from the wall, feeding tray mat and unit, water sloshing everywhere. The whole thing not limited in distance because there’s no electrical leads.
Solution, now have the feeding mat velcro’d to the kitchen tray. The kitchen tray now velcro’d to the base of the fountain., which is in turn velcro’d to the skirting board of the house.
So, now velcro’d the whole fountain and tray to the skirting board and hey…………………. it works.
Wait though, got to change the filter. Doh!!
Having said all the above, it is the best one I’ve come across. Of particular interest to the kitten is to see him stalking around the fountain making it go on and off by slowly moving around his position.
This is one of the best fountains i have purchased, super super quiet you don’t realise its on. Quick to recharge and battery lasts a good 2 weeks on the setting in using. It’s really easy to clean unlike some I’ve had before and no nuisance leads you can place this anywhere without worrying about having a plug socket free. My cats love it so much i bought another one to use upstairs, highly recommend you will not be disappointed
We have always had a water fountain for our cats, but this is by far the nicest looking and quietest of them all. I really like that you don’t have to have it running constantly, the motion sensor works perfectly, though the cats were a bit unsure to start with, and the filter change warning is very handy. The only thing that is a bit of a shame, is that you can’t have it running on constant unless it is plugged in.
Overall a great fountain, especially on a prime day deal price.
I’ve had multiple water fountains before all of them were wired as I always had a plug nearby. Decided to try this for convenience and as I would’ve had to have a long extension lead if I go with a plugin. Honestly the best fountain I’ve ever had. It hold a lot of water, so silent you can’t even hear it and the motion sensor works on it great. Battery life is good and you can keep operating while on charge. My cats love it and keeps them away constantly wanting to be in bathroom sink
I’ve set this up in the kitchen and I’m really pleased. This BATTERY OPERATED fountain starts up when you’re near. It does have different modes, but I just switched it on and left it to it. I’m not sure if the cat likes it. I’ve not seen him drink
Nice and quiet, as others have said, easy to clean, battery life on timed action lasts a few days.
Cat’s are a bit fussy, so sometimes they drink from it.
I removed the little rubber?, Handle on the metal tray, as one of our cats kept pulling it out…with the metal tray & water all over the floor, doesn’t do it now
At first our ragdoll was wary of the new fountain but after 48 hours he was fine with it. So much easier when he goes to the cattery to take a fountain with a rechargeable battery so we don’t have to leave spare power blocks to drive a USB version. Hopefully the battery life is as claimed – haven’t had it long enough to check yet but it’s still going well. But happy with the purchase.
I love the fact this fountain has a battery back-up. A previous one I’d bought was electric only and they suggested turning off the pump periodically to give it a longer life. Well, turning off the pump meant no water was available for my cats in the reservoir on top. I turned it off overnight in the early hours I realized it was bone dry on top! What if I was away and we had a power cut?! This fountain has a “dip” in the top so some water is always available even when it is off. I love the sensor function, this saves the pump from working non stop when no one is around = longer pump life. The battery charges when you plug in the unit. After about 4 hours the battery is fully charged, you can remove the wire and it lasts about 25 days! This means I can comfortably go away for a day or two knowing my cats have fresh water available. ( I always leave ample food for them) It is super quiet. My fussy 2 yr old boy cat was drinking from it within an hour of setting it up (the one I returned neither cat would use after 3 days ) I’m very happy I’d definitely recommend.
for 40 this is a pretty good fountain i’m normally pretty harsh with reviews but i can charge it on a powerbank (2 amp output) so i dont have cables everywhere, the sensor mode is good my cat likes this and is actually drinking more water since. would recommend to anyone that doesnt want cables everywhere and needs a easy to use product, its also convenient because i dont have to put water down for my cat every day.
my only comment is that the charging plug is a bit rubbish because it only has a 1 amp output so it slow charges.
This works very well. My cats drink alot more water since getting this. There was a pack of filters attached as bought together. They were the wrong shape and had to be cut to fit so beware of this. The charger is basic so can take a while to charge. The stainless steel top is hard to clean if you have hard water, there is a fair bitnof build up but a scouring pad sorts that.
Good product. When I failed to read the instructions properly the seller contacted me and was very nice.
Why I liked this product is that it can run on the mains or by battery. The battery lasts a good while and an indicator tells you when to charge it again. The sensor was the other reason I bought it so that it doesn’t have to run all the time.
My cat drinks from it so overall it has been a success.
I have lost count of the number of discarded and expensive fountains I have purchased. The most common complaint of mine is the complex and intricate nature of the pump. In some cases it has taken my patience to the VERY limit just getting them to work. This is just wonderful. I had it unboxed, powered up and working in no time, at all. Perhaps a bit smaller than I thought but, it didn’t daunt either of my cats so the size worked well. Florence, my Persian, usually takes her time with something new but she loved this immediately and seemed to love the sensor mode and kept walking past just to set it off. The price is good ( I have spent double this and been disappointed). It’s silent, easy to keep clean, can be put it anywhere, and is cat, and owner friendly. Perfect.

Honestly the best thing we did!
You can charge it up and it lasts around 10 days before you re-charge it again and it takes around 3 litres of water.
Different modes for what suites you and cats took to it really well.
