Having children that see their parents being Crafty and wanting to be just like them. This beginner set was easy for my daughter to follow the instructions and figure out how to make her purse. She absolutely loves it and told me she had a lot of fun doing it on her own!

my daughter loved this project, she is 7 and she did find it a bit hard and I had to assist her. overall she does like it and I would definitely recommend it though maybe for slightly older kids 8/9/10

More complicated than it looks
I was excited to do this craft activity with my crafty 6 year old. However, I found it far too complicated for her even though I would say she was quite advanced for her crafting age! It requires a lot of fine motor sewing and weaving in order to attach the pompom string to the mesh. One mistake and you will have to start all over again!
It is definitely one you need to do with your chid however I would suggest it was more suited for age 9/10+, not 6+.

This crochet kit is aimed at 10 years + in my opinion, it contains everything you need to make the bag, with a choice of a shoulder strap or top handled bag. It contains full easy to follow instructions and the instructions are well illustrated too. It would make an ideal gift too. Priced at 15.99 its great value for money. I’m going to go online and see if this company make anymore of these craft sets. Highly recommend this item.

I love the idea of this. I am a crocheter and my daughter is always wanting to give it ago and when I saw this I thought what a fun way for them to try and get something worthwhile at the end of it. This seems like a very good set. We haven yet to make it but seems easy enough
