We’ve been very happy with this product. It seems much more robust than others we have seen. That said, we did have a bolt come out and we were unable to find it. However, an email to Purple Leaf customer services was promptly answered by Zoey who arranged for a replacement to be sent to us within a few days.

Finally, I love it. It’s a good size, steady, well made, water proof, fantastic. Easy to assemble, husband had it up in no time. I would highly recommend this for any body.

Parasol looks well made and appears stable in the wind. Alsi very easy to erect and adjust up/down and swing around. O e poi t to mention – It is very important to get the right weights for the base as these do not come with the parasol.

We’ve had previous cantilever umbrellas, but this is by far the best. Firstly, it’s square, so covers the square table a a chairs completely. Second, the build quality is excellent and the mechanism is smooth and easy to operate.

Lovely quality item.
HOWEVER I initially purchased four weighted blocks for the base and sand to fill them (you need to buy these separately). Even with these four fully filled with sand in place, the parasol blew over in wind that was no more than 20 mph. I have now purchased another four and additional sand which has solved the problem. This has cost a lot of extra money with the sand cost on top. Bear this in mind when budgeting for your purchase.

This is a fine and well manufactured umbrella that is very sturdy even in light winds.
BUTTTT is leaks around the stitching on the vent at the top of the umbrella even in a light shower.
I’m sure this can be rectified with a water repellent spray.
I would have given it 5 stars all round only for this fault.

Love the canopy. Well made and very sturdy. Can be angled to suit any sun direction. Just ensure you get the right base.

Superb quality product. Easy to erect with excellent instruction book provided. Does need two persons just to lift the bulky umbrella on to the pole. Buying the 4 x water/ sand filled base units is rather pricey but essential unless installing into concrete. The brolly is easy to use both for height and elevation but rotating it needs some effort. Just recently purchased but I feel confident it will last.
One query I have is that there is no protective cover provided as stated as “provided” in the erection instructions .

Purple leaf 2.5m square parasol: it was well packaged and I assembled the parasol within 20 minutes, instructions were clear. Quality of the parasol, adjusting tilt handle and crank handle appear to be very good, it is easy to raise and adjust. Definitely requires the weighted base. Very happy with this purchase.
