he mouse works great the software is a bit limited but it works fine i find the weright and the switches of the mouse very responsive though my issue with it is te shape sadly this is for pure palm gripers the right side i find that my ring finger is misplaced and the side buttons couldve been a bit bigger in my opinion everything works amazingly and its as promised and as for a bank for the buck this is very much worth its price and maybe more.

I had bought a wired mouse like this for my desk top computer and it worked out so well and I really like the colors it can do so when I bought my new gaming laptop computer I also bought this mouse in a wireless model and to my surprise it also came with a plug in cable so it could become a wired mouse as well . It also has the RBG colored lights on it and you can change how the lights work and change colors. This mouse also has one extra button that can be used as a trigger button to do a rapid shooting blast from your weapon that you happen to be using in your game. For the price this is a really great mouse for gaming. I looked at other mice some have 10 or more buttons on them but to me that just seems to be way to many buttons to keep track of while being involved in a intense part of any game, so I passed on the these type of mice as i feel that with all these extra buttons is just too confusing while working through the game . So over all this mouse has worked very well for me as both a gaming mouse and one for everyday computer work and for just everyday computer searching for things on the Internet.

I am using this mouse primarily for gaming, so features like sensitivity control, comfort and latency are important for me.
This mouse does all of these well. In fact, I think it would be easier for everyone if I just list the few minor things I don’t like:
The texture on the right side of the mouse irritated my pinky a bit, but I either got used to it or started holding my pinky differently so I do not really notice anymore.
The “rapid fire” button only does three click bursts. I cannot even find a way to change this in the reddragon software — you can change the function of the button, but the rapid fire can only be done in a 3 click (or shot, in an FPS) burst. You can even change things like the speed of the burst, but not just have it go full auto clicking when held down. I would often use this button for example in games where I am managing an inventory to rapidly sell large quantities of items — I now have to click (although only 1/3 as much as I normally would), but this still gets annoying if I am trying to dump say 100 things. My old mouse with true rapid fire would drain stuff in a second.
****
The downloadable software is pretty nice. You can map any button to any function and control the LED colors and patterns. The mouse stores 5 DPI settings that you can customize both in DPI scale and the color that it illuminates the mouse wheel.
I was really worried about latency too, but there is no perceptible latency for me when using it wirelessly. I as a disclaimer, I do have my PC and the wireless dongle only about 3 feet from the mouse at any given time, but so far it has seemed effectively instant to me.
I also have large (specifically wide) hands and this is still pretty comfortable. No more soreness than any other gaming mouse I have used after long use.
I have not truly tested battery life but after a full charge, I used the mouse for about 8-9 hours in eco mode (RBG off) and was showing 90% battery life in the app.
All in all, this seems to be a great mouse by any standard, let alone at the price point of $30-40. I do not think a more expensive mouse would increase my gaming experience in any way. I have only had the mouse for a few days though, so the only thing to worry about is its longevity. If the mouse stops working or acting weird, I will update this review accordingly.
Edit 4/18/24: just wanted to add a positive comment about battery life. I have been using the mouse for about a month in ecomode. I use it nearly everyday for 3-4 hours and am just now charging it for the second time (the software says it is at 40%). That’s definitely better than I expected when I purchased. It’s USB-c so you can use whatever USB-C cable you want, and it does not have to be the one included. It will still function wirelessly while being charged. Bringing this up because I used a wireless mouse once that would shut off when charging and the only way to use it was to plug it directly into the computer while charging — this one can be used with any power source. Very happy with tha
I really enjoy using this mouse. It is very responsive, lights look good, dps settings are nice, and software is fairly straightforward to use. The battery dies a little fast but it is not a deal breaker for me.

This mouse is wonderful for any use on the computer. I do find when playing Civilization IV I do have to change the settings back and forth quite a bit, but easy to do so with the buttons on top. Great product!

Amazing feel and weight, great value for money
Some mention it being heavy – I like that it’s got a little heft to it, and it helps be accurate if you use it for work as well as gaming.
I just plug it in as a habit every couple of days, so I can’t actually speak to total battery life, but two full days of office work and some gaming and hasn’t gone to amber or red light when I plug it into charge.
Finally, value. Redragon look the part, feel and perform way above their cost, and so I’ve switched to them for my mobile office gear (wireless redragon mouse with lenovo laptop and portable 15.6in TRKXDD monitor) as well as home office (wired redragon KB and mouse with dock for lenovo and 23in dell monitor).
I guess I’m a fan now
After using it for 2 months
The Redragon mouse is very good, I get addicted to this mouse because I have program all the button for shortcuts that I used frequently. That speen a my work little bit and also it has 2 modes which can be used program for each button for two different modes this comes in handy when you shift from working with different software with different shortcuts. It is little expensive but it worth the price
One tips I will give that don’t turn the RGB light on because it will consume battery can need to charge it in 3 – 4 days
Without light it sometimes goes up to 7 days
Consigliatissimo
First time using a RedDragon mouse....and I am impressed. The configuration software is excellent, and super-easy to program. Macro programming is easy and intuitive. I like how you can use it wirelessly and also wired. Having been a Logitech mouse user for so long...I got used to the annoying double-click problems that plague many logitech mice buttons...The Geforce software is generally unpleasant to use....so I have moved on.

I picked this up a while back to use for my laptop when I work from home, and as a spare for my main desktop setup. I normally use a wired mouse with my desktop/gaming pc, but recently starting using this one in it’s place for regular duties and some FPS gaming.
I chose this mouse because it uses the pixart PAW3370, which is one of the top optical sensors for mice right now when it comes to tracking accuracy. I Also chose it because it has a few extra buttons on top (aside from the usual 2 side buttons). I like to bind the extra buttons on top of the mouse for some in-game functions instead of using my keyboard.
the mouse is a bit heavier than the current crop of super light weight mice, but it’s still way lot lighter than my old G602 that had batteries in it. it has a built-in battery, so that keeps the weight down. battery life seems pretty decent so far. I usually am online only for a few hours a day, and it’s lasted a couple weeks and I have yet to charge it. it will also work in wired mode, so you can use it while it charges. it has 2 “on” modes: one with the full RGB lighting, and one that is like ECO mode, that let’s you run with no lights, or with minimal lighting. both modes allow you to run 1000hz polling rates.
The left and right buttons are a little stiffer than my Asus mouse, but it doesn’t affect my gameplay at all, and it’s only noticeable when going from one mouse to the other. the other buttons on the mouse feel good and are on par with any other well known name-brand mouse.
The software is very easy to use, and is simple and lightweight. I wish more companies would make their mouse software like this. it allows you to set profiles, change lighting, bind the buttons, and program macros. then lets you save it all to the on-board mouse memory, and then you can close the software and never run it again. There are multiple DPI settings you can set, and/or turn on or off completely, a page for lighting controls, macro programming, button assignments, polling rate, speed settings, etc. Basically all the typical mouse settings you’d ever need.
After matching the dpi to my other mouse, I can say this mouse performs just as well as many more expensive mice. The only difference I could feel was this mouse wasn’t quite as “fast” as my other one. the mouse skates weren’t as slick. I didn’t mind though, and I was still able to aim accurately and quickly.
After a few days I noticed that there was some plastic pealing up on one of the mouse skates. They have a protective film on them! this wasn’t noticeable before, but after I peeled off all of the film, the mouse was sliding faster and easier, so make sure you check the mouse skates for the film.
I bought 2 other popular name brand mice in store and returned them due to poor quality physically and software wise, plus the lack of features which were about $10 more than this one. I bought this trying to stay within my budget and to hopefully get a good bang for my buck, and I did. This mouse has great features, design and feel. The software works great and the double click button is cool. The mouse feels good in the hand ergonomically and is lightweight without feeling cheap. Definitely a good buy and hope it lasts.

After a week of heavy use the battery is still at 80% according to the software you can download off their website (with all the LEDs off and the mouse left on eco). It's very comfortable to use and the feel is very similar to a g.skill ripjaws or razor basilisk. There's no lag compared to any wired mouse I've used. I'm primarily using it for everyday use.

Feels great in the hand, battery lasts for at least a week and I like the way it changes because I don’t even notice when it’s plugged it during use, lots of extra buttons and instant sensitivity adjustment, never had a problem with performance or lag, great price for a great product! But if you like light weight mouses it might take a little getting used to but definitely recommend👍

Die Maus ist super! Abe
I recently purchased the Reddragon M991 mouse, and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the quality it offers, especially considering its affordable price. This mouse provides excellent value for money, and I’m more than satisfied with my purchase.
One of the standout features of the Reddragon M991 is its stunning RGB lighting. The illumination on this mouse is absolutely beautiful, adding a touch of style and customization to my gaming setup. The vibrant colors and various lighting effects create an immersive visual experience that enhances the overall gaming atmosphere.
In terms of ergonomics, the Reddragon M991 excels. The grip is nothing short of perfect, offering a comfortable and secure hold during extended gaming sessions. As someone with larger hands, I particularly appreciate the weight of this mouse. It strikes a perfect balance, providing a satisfying heaviness that enhances precision and control. Lighter mice often feel flimsy and lack the stability I desire, but the Reddragon M991 caters perfectly to my preferences.
While the mouse itself performs admirably, it’s worth mentioning that the accompanying software leaves much to be desired. The functionality is limited and somewhat lacking, which is a shame considering its potential. However, this minor drawback doesn’t significantly impact the overall experience for me. I find the mouse perfectly usable without relying heavily on the software, and it doesn’t diminish my overall satisfaction with the product.
All in all, the Reddragon M991 is an excellent purchase, especially for those seeking an affordable yet high-quality gaming mouse. Its value for money is exceptional, and the combination of beautiful RGB lighting and ergonomic design sets it apart from its competitors. Despite the software’s limitations, the mouse itself performs admirably and caters to those who prefer a slightly heavier feel. I highly recommend the Reddragon M991 to anyone in search of a reliable and budget-friendly gaming mouse.
Corsair DARK CORE RGB SE, 129… Akku hlt knapp 2 Tage (4 Stunden/Tag zocken). Nur 2 Monate im gebrauch… FINGER WEG!
LG, CKR.
Works with my work MacBook Pro. Cons this one you have to undo a dish on the bottom to store the dongle which is annoying, the previous one I had has a magnetic slot which was less fiddly and easier to snap into for storage.

Great for PS5
I’ve been using this for 5 months on PS5 to play Fortnite. Mouse has performed great after initial pairing it connects instantly every time battery last forever if you use it with lights off. It’s a nice bulky size and shape good for my large hands overall would recommend.
Good mouse, I use for gaming and for work.
